Sad that Amazon fell short with The Cube. They had a good thing going with their box which had a usb slot, a slot for a memory card & connection for ethernet. The pluses of this cube is that has a faster chip & more storage. Oh, it also has capability for hands-free Alexa which I guess is ok, yet I rarely use it. I would have loved the old version with an faster chip & more storage. Would trade hands-free Alexa for a usb, ethernet & memory card slot.

This is my first voice control devices, this Alexa device that is. I tried to speak clearly and slowly to the device, but about two times out of 10 commands, Alexa will get it wrong and give me news when I don’t want it or go to another HDMI input when I don’t want it or just not respond at all sometimes. I’ll keep it, but I’m not thrilled with it at this point. I would recommend it to a friend but with a warning about my experiences with it.

This was the second fire cube I tried as the first one went to a black screen which would not work with a reboot. The second one stopped responding to go back to home screen after 3 days. A known problem according to the Amazon tec dept. but working on a fix. I will wait for the next generation fire cube as they were good while they worked. Need it? No, want it? Yes

Not bad but not great, im sure improvements will be made along the way...I just wont pay to have them.

Good product but remote has no volume control and asking Alexa increases volume by +/- 5 cant just go down by one... Other that that liking it

Wish I would have stuck with the older generation. 4k is nice but not much of a difference other wise

When I first set up the Amazon Fire TV Cube, it was great. I loved the fact that I could use my voice to turn the tv on/off, open apps, etc. All of that ended when I actually started using it. I’ve never had a smart TV device like this do such a bad job of actually streaming video. Every single app I used - Netflix, Hulu, PS Vue - would suffer from stuttering, buffering, or random freezing. It made everything unwatchable. I can understand if some of the Alexa and voice command integration was rough out of the box. But, when this supposedly high tech device can’t stream as well as a 1st generation Fire Stick there is a major problem. Maybe it will get better via updates, but I’m returning it because I don’t feel like being a beta tester on a product that should work out of the box.

The Fire Tv Cube Provides the best of both worlds giving you the features of the Fire TV and an Echo all in one. Plus you can add storage. I definitely need another.

It annoyed me at first that the tv would pause every time I asked Alexa for something, but this Alexa should be kept in a bedroom.

Definitely like the fact that you now can control the television power and volume using Alexa. Does not completely replace your Amazon Echo Device though.

Nothing against the unit. It is the same as my Fire tv. I returned. I will not give low rating because I did not keep. All Amazon products are great!!

It is great because of its combination of both cec and ir blaster to control tv. Only thing I wish amazon would do is allow for more casting functionality.

I have this set up in my office connected to the tv and the functionality is very cool. Voice command makes it easy to multi-task.

Wasn't to happy that I couldn't load a app. But yet my fire stick and fire tv no problem...

As a Roku cord cutter I thought I would give the cube a try. After purchase I found out the cube is not compatible with Spectrum internet tv streaming. Still thought I would give it a try. Most of the time response is good to my command or question . Overall content falls far short of what Roku has to offer. Hope to see future increase in viewing content and compatibility to Spectrum tv streaming/internet.

I switched to the fire tv cube from a fire stick and so happy I did! Love that Alexa works so well with it and no buffering or dropping signal.

It may look sexy but it doesn't sound sexy. It does the job if you're looking to use it for Kodi and it's on sale too (at lest when I bought it)

Love the FireCube I use it solely now to automate my house using the Alexa features and the bonus part it has all the firetv apps too

Unfortunately does NOT work with my Cable/Fiberoptic provider's box. Other than that great product. I also have 3 dots.

The priducto is excellent, the advice that I started in the store was excellent. If the product also recognized Spanish would be unsurpassed
