I absolutely love my kindle! It’s lightweight, and holds all my books in one place. It also is so much easier for travel especially when reading a large book, it takes up almost no space! The paperwhite is amazing for reading outside and I read while my husband goes fishing a lot! I 100% would recommend!

My first Kindle was a 2013 Paperwhite. I'd always been happy with it; however, since my son expressed interest in the Kindle, I took the opportunity to give him my old one and get a new one for me. I debated between the 2022 Kindle and the 2021 Kindle Paperwhite - since I didn't think I'd need the Paperwhite's waterproof feature and I liked the higher storage capacity of the Kindle (16 GB vs Paperwhite's 8 GB), I went with the Kindle. My initial impression of the device was that it wasn't that much different from my old Paperwhite. The e-ink feature and backlighting are very similar, which I like. The interface is slightly different but still intuitive. Battery life seems to be similar or possibly even better, and download times are also quick. The only noticeable differences between this model and my previous one are the size, USB connectors, and lockscreen ads. The 2022 Kindle has a smaller screen and feels a bit lighter than my old model. The smaller screen doesn't impede my reading ability and makes the device feel even more compact. It also has a USB-C port versus the old model's microUSB, which is a welcome modern change. Finally, this is my first experience with lockscreen ads, but they really don't bother me because they're gone with one swipe. (In full disclosure, I wasn't aware that versions without lockscreen ads were available.) Overall, I'm pleased with my new Kindle and although it doesn't strike me as very different from my almost-10-year-old model, to me this is a good thing because I liked my old Kindle too.

Absolutely LOVE my new kindle e reader! It’s compact, easy to take anywhere, and has a great battery life! Easy to use, easy to access my library and many other kindle friendly venues. The page font is crisp, plenty of light and also wonderful dark mode! The price point is excellent! There are lots of nice selections of cases and covers for it online. I can’t think of a negative thing to say! It’s perfect for my needs!

I am obsessed with my Kindle. I love the brightness settings that help me read even late at night. The battery life is incredible- it lasts me SO long, and I barely have had to charge it since I've had it. 16GB can hold a ton of books. So perfect!

My coworkers recommended buying one, but I refused to purchase one because I loved having a tangible copy! A couple weeks ago I decided to purchase one (I was tired of spending $16 for a book that will sit on the shelf forever) & let me tell you…. It is a TOTAL GAME CHANGER! Best purchase I’ve ever made!! So easy & convenient to carry around and it literally fits in every purse + the battery lasts forever!!

Got this gift for my wife for Xmas. She was never a hardcore reader and loves her crime stories. Since Xmas she has finished two books and is working her way through a series due to reaching the end of the book and being advised she can start the next book. Now I ordered myself one to finished my collection of unfinished self help/motivational books. She even wants to start a book club for us. Great but, great price, already paid itself in my wife’s new reading passion.

Love my new Kindle. Use it to read books and all I have to do is attach my library card and I can read books for free. I didn't think the night or back light effects was worth the extra money for the Paperwhite. Battery lasts a long time and I like how it displays in sunny and low lighting.

If you are on the fence, absolutely go for it. I had been considering purchasing an ereader for a couple of years, always convinced I wouldn’t enjoy reading as much. I was very wrong, find myself reading even more now that it’s so easy to carry with me everywhere I go. It rarely ever needs charged which is another plus. I couldn’t love it more.

Love the softness and lightness of the kindle. It’s the perfect size for traveling and the battery can last me up to two weeks before I need a full recharge

Absolutely love it! I know the feel of reading a physical book is preferable to some but honestly looking at the size or the hassle of carrying a book sometimes makes me not want to read. This is so small and easy, fits in my belt bag, and I can take everywhere with ease!

Would recommend to all my book lovers. The screen is perfect and looks just like a real book. You can easily read at night and adjust font. Only downside is you have to pay $11/month for the kindle unlimited subscription but I think it’s worth it bc any book is happy more than $11 anyways

I couldn’t decide between this and the Paperwhite. I went back and forth and am soooo glad I settled on this Kindle. The screen is perfect. It’s lightweight and easy to hold. The dyslexic font makes reading so much easier and quicker. I’ve been averaging a book every 24 hours! If you are worried about it being around water then go with the Paperwhite, but I didn’t plan on swimming with it in hand. It has paid for itself in 3 weeks with the amount of books I’ve read!! Also it’s 100 times better than the Nook!

Amazing. Very useful. In my opinion, if you love reading books, the Kindle 2022 is the best digital way to own them at a reasonable budget, and it comes with superb endurance that will easily last you for at least a month on a single charge.

The Kindle is compact and small so it’s easy to carry in your purse when running errands or going to appointments. Also 3 months free Kindle was a bonus!
