Overall, very satisfied with this CPU. Recently built a new gaming-focused computer with this CPU in it. The only other CPU I have on hand to compare to was the previous generation Ryzen 9 5900X, not quite a perfect comparison but an interesting one nonetheless. In Cinebench the 7700X saw a 6% lower score than the 5900X, not bad for having 4 fewer cores. However, the 7700X saw a 27% higher score over the 5900X in the single-core GeekBench 5 benchmark and even a 7% higher score in the multi-core GeekBench 5 benchmark. This CPU is right on the edge of being comparable to the 5900X in places where 8 cores will do you fine. For gaming, it’s perfect for me. I highly recommend for those who want a high end gaming CPU and even those who do light rendering work.

Absolutely fantastic CPU. Purchased exclusively for gaming, its been a massive uplift from an Intel 9900K, particularly in titles like Spiderman Remastered and Cyberpunk 2077. Easy to install, the new AM5 platform was very smooth to get up and running. Hardware Unboxed has an awesome video review of this chip, and all my experiences line up with it. If all you're going to do is game, the 7700x matches and in some cases exceeds the 7950x in fps and 1% lows, akd that chip is $300 more. Perfect gaming card for this generation of AMD CPUs.

Amazing AMD processor at a great price. Best Buy always has great prices, and even if they don't, their price match policy is amazing!

This processor is a power house and will consistently run at 5.5ghz under load. Temps have been a bit higher then previous series, but are very quick to drop down to what you’d expect in idle. Make sure bios is updated with the mobo you pick but amazing performance overall.

Coming from an intel i7-11700k, overall she performs better and runs a bit cooler than my old CPU whenever I'm doing anything whether that's productivity or gaming. Highly recommend it at either its full price or on sale.

Easy install and runs perfectly hitting the 5.4ghz easily, only thing to watch out for is you need a good cpu cooler, it gets toasty

This processor is the best bang for your buck. Man handles Battlefield 6 if that is of any concern. I've been running it for over a month on my new PC build, got everything from bestbuy in store and it is actually a beast.
