I'll admit I like the Airpods design (mostly), but wasn't so keen on the price. Also, I'm not a fan of the overall design (the stems and touch controls I like, the sitting in the ear not as much). The Soundcore Liberty Air True Wireless addresses the fit and price issues I have with the Apple branded Airpods. The fit of the Liberty Air is in-ear and uses silicone tips to help seal off outside noise. The functionality is quite decent as well, although to be honest I did find the touch controls to a be a little finicky at times, but no more so than other touch based controls (like on Sony's WH-1000 series). The battery case provides plenty of battery, approximately 15 hours additional to the 5 hr. charge the earbuds themselves hold, giving you a total of 20 hours. In comparison the Airpods give you approx. 24 hours of battery total. Sound quality if pretty decent, with decent low end, but I did feel the volume could be louder for in-ear earbuds. Overall these are some pretty good true wireless earbuds, and they are IPX5 sweatproof so they can be used in the gym without worry of shorting out. If you're looking for something similar to the Airpods but minus the sticker shock price and added bonus of in-ear noise isolation fit, the Soundcore Liberty Air True Wireless are a solid buy.

I bought two pairs of these earbuds. One for me and one for my wife. So far they have been great. They're not hard to pair to your phone or in my case to my smartwatch. There's no volume control on them, so you will have to control the volume from your device. There are no buttons on these earbuds. They're touch sensitive, so you just have to be careful if you are moving them around or adjusting them on your ears. Haven't had any issues with them falling out either. I was cautious in buying any totally wireless earbuds in fear one would fall out without my noticing while I was working out, but so far, no issues. They sound good. They don't get super loud, which is fine with me. So, if you want earbuds that cause deafness, these probably aren't for you. The case for these is great. When you pull them out, they automatically turn of and turn off when you put them back in. The case is supposed to hold a charge for 20 hours. I've only had the buds for 4 days, so we'll see. I recommend these earbuds, especially considering the price point.

    Good alternative to Air Pods

I stumbled upon these when I was considering purchasing Air Pods. My immediate impression of the Anker Soundcore Liberty was that they look similar to Air Pods, they're half the price, it's a reputable company, and they're available in black (that's a big deal for me). I've heard rumors that the Air Pods 3 were going to be available in black, but I wasn't willing to wait that long nor shell out likely even more money. After reading a several reviews online, everyone said the audio quality is better than Air Pods. Although there are better alternatives in terms of audio quality out there, they're also much more expensive. Anker is more well known for their battery packs, but they've released other wireless ear phones before. And like any Anker product the quality is very good. These are relatively comfortable that does a decent job of isolating you from ambient noise. They fit in each ear very securely because of the silicone tips. Each ear phone has a touch sensitive surface that lets you tap to skip through music, answer phone calls, and summon your voice assistant. Volume cannot be adjusted by touching the ear phones, but this feature is not too common on other brands either. Voice quality for phone calls is tolerable, but not great despite each ear phone having its own mic. The right ear phone is the master and can be used in mono mode--however this cannot be done with the left. There are no accelerometers that detects when you remove them from your ears and turn them off. If you want to ensure they're off and conserve batteries, you need to manually turn them off. It's not that big of a deal, but the manual on/off isn't explicitly described anywhere. With the touch-sensitive surfaces, it takes a little trial and error to learn how to handle them and expect predictable behavior. I can get the advertised battery life most of the time. The charging case is compact, but not the smallest out there. The case has a magnetic lid that feels satisfying to open and close. The ear phones easily fall into place inside the case and is held magnetically. There are light indicators on the case and ear phones to provide a visual charge status. While in use battery usage can be monitored, although it may not be obvious how if you're not savvy with your phone. If it matters to you, there is no USB C charging cable--it's mini USB A.

Picked these up to be my gym earphones and glad I did. Works great. Friends that use the Airpods claim these work just as well if not better. I personally am not an Apple guy so can't give you that comparison. Sounds 4/5 Comfort 4/5 Price with the sale 5/5 I'm in the gym for anywhere between 1.5 hours to 4 or 5 if I end up playing basketball too. And i've played basketball with these on and havent had any issues. You have to have them both out of the charging case for them to work though. Good budget wireless earphones with good sound, connectivity, and battery life.

Yeah, the blatant copying of your favorite forbidden fruit brand is noticeable. Liberty "Air" is not so inconspicuous, Anker. For what it's worth though, they come in black, so you can opt for that color to avoid people misidentifying your budget-friendly sound sticks. If you have an Android phone and don't want to give Apple your money (you do know AirPods work with Android, right?), you don't have to look far to reach for a Bose SoundSport Free or a Jabra Elite 65t (arguably the 2 most popular choices). But those are similarly priced to AirPods (Bose's are more expensive). Enter Anker Soundcore Liberty Air, a mouthful of a pair of true wireless earphones that I bought because I like Anker, and even the $200 gift card I got for Christmas couldn't get me to spend the money on the higher-end options. (Admittedly, I had the Bose SoundSport Free for a while but they always made my ears hurt (no matter the eartip size), so I sold them on eBay.) The case is adorable, and so are the earphones (earbuds? IEMs? I don't know). Comfort-wise, I usually have a good time with Medium eartips and here, it wasn't any different, initially. After a few minutes, I ended up switching to the Large eartips because the Medium were ever-so-slightly loose for my taste. Thank you, Anker, for including extra eartips. Pairing was simple and I didn't have any issues with my Essential Phone (notorious for its buggy Bluetooth performance). Sound signature is what you would expect from an $80 pair of earphones. Definitely on-par with AirPods (I know because I tried my cousin's AirPods for like 20 seconds). The benefit of an in-ear fit in this case is the added passive noise isolation, as well as nice bass that's not too overwhelming (just right for a person like me). The touch controls are underwhelming. But I don't usually like to tap and touch earphones cause why even bother. Use your phone like you would with wired headphones (ones that don't have a remote control at least). If my Essential Phone can benefit from the Bluetooth performance of these, so can your iPhone/Samsung. Watching YouTube videos and Netflix is a breeze because audio is properly synchronized with video. Really great and I couldn't ask for more. At the time of writing this, I have yet to make any phone calls using the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air. So, I will not comment on their mic performance because it would be unfair. Call quality is not a deal maker/breaker because I prefer just using my phone usually. Not sure what else to add. I've only been using these for a day, but a day is enough for me to make a decision and I've decided to keep them. I recommend adding the Geek Squad accidental damage protection plan (I think I payed $14.99 for 2 years, why the heck not, y'all.)

Sound quality is good, fits in my ear better than AirPods but does not have the volume that is needed. You pretty much have to have them turned all the way up to really hear and drown out surrounding noises. Battery life is good, fits ear very well and stays in place with almost all activities, overall a nice alternative to AirPods but not to be used in heavy noise environments.

Can't believe how much I've come to like this earbuds. I know it's a knock-off Apple Earbuds (that's what the apple lovers would say) but it's definitely worth the price. For just about $70 the quality does match the branded name earbuds. The touch controls are spot on. You also have 4 eartips to choose from to get the right fit and once that's in, cancels out most of the background noise - only downside of the eartips is that it starts to get uncomfortable after a while. Calls have been clear on my side since I had it (only had complaints about 2-3 times that they couldn't hear me on the other line and this seems to happen when I use an app other than the default calling app. Another is callers complaining they could hear whatever was in the background really loud. Battery lasts for about 4 hours listening to music. But you always have the charging case should that happen. Oh, I've hardly had issues with the bluetooth pairing. If it doesn't auto connect with my phone soon as I bring it out, all I do is put it back in the case and remove again. In summary, this is a sleek earbud. For the price, it's absolutely worth it. I'll definitely recommend.

I have had these earbuds for a little over a year and they do have some problems that I cannot get passed. Left earbud looses connection often. Like every time I use them. It might be fine for the first few minutes then the left one will cut out. Sometimes after 4 or 5 seconds it will pick back up and reconnect. Often it won't reconnect, unfortunately to fix this you have to click forget on the whole Bluetooth device and re pair it or you can stick them both in the charging case and close the lid and try again. For some reason when pairing I have to pick the right earbud up first and causes less connection issues out of the gate. These came with 4 different sized ear tips and none of them will stay in my ear. For the first several weeks I kept thinking I must be using the wrong size tips until I went through every single size plus extra headphones tips I had but they just will not stay in my ears. Which is a major problem I got them for working out and running. My solution is cram them into my ear with the large size ear tip create a seal around my ear unfortunately after moving aroundvfor a few minutes they slowly start to work its way out of my ear and it will just barely hanging there ready to fall out. It doesn't matter if I'm just casually walking or trying to run on a treadmill, however if I am doing something active they lose their seal much faster and I'll have to readjust them every two or three minutes from falling out. These have fallen out so many times I have a hairline crack going down the stem of the earbud. Call quality is not that great. From the feedback I received it sounds better on my end than it does the person receiving the call. Often I'm told it sounds like I'm under water or in a tunnel. Not true wireless, can't use just the left one. You can use just the right one though. Touch control's work as nice as can be without having a physical button. Audio quality is pretty good through the sound spectrum. I get about 3.5 hours of battery life on them. Overall I could not recommend this product, for me the not staying in my ears and always loosing left handed connection is a deal breaker

Thank you so much for writing.
We are sorry that you are not satisfied with the performance of these earbuds. For the problem of the left earbud, please try the tips below to see if any help:
      1. Try reducing the distance between your right earbud and your audio device, like having your audio device in your right pocket or right side. Your right Soundcore Liberty earbud is the master (main) earbud. It connects to your audio device and to the left earbud.
      2. Put the earbuds back in the case and take them out, double tap the buttons on the earbuds and test them again.
      3. Reset your Bluetooth connection by turning off your device's Bluetooth for at least 10 seconds and then turn it back on. Please note, turning Bluetooth off and back on quickly will not reset the connection.
      4. Try closing any Apps you're not using on your device.
For the fitting, please try to instert the headset, turn and lock. Due to the long distance from the mouth, call quality of Total Wireless Earphones is usually not good. By using the dual-mic noise reduction, Liberty Air can provide much better call quality than most TWS on the market, but if outside noise is too loud or too close to the user, this will influence the call quality.
Please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can take care of you. You are important to us, and we want to help as much as we're able to. Looking forward to hearing from you! anker

For half the price of airpods, these are great. The sound quality is good, good bass, could be a little louder but they're loud enough for a noisy gym. So far I've had no issues with fit, and they stay in perfectly while running. Connect easily and stay connected. Definitely reccomend if $160 is too much for something you'll probably lose anyway lol.

I purchased this set of totally wireless earbuds because I didn’t want to spend the money on the Apple AirPods and I felt they would maybe stay in my ears better anyways. I was very happy with the price and they are a very good quality set of earbuds. The connectivity is very good with my iPhone and easy as well. The sound quality is up to my liking and the battery life is great. The controls are supper to use and work very well. The charger/case is very nice as well. It extends the listening time quite a lot. My only real dislike about them is they do not stay as snug in my ears as I was hoping for. Better then the Apple wired earbuds for sure but I would like them to fit better. It may be an issue with my ears though because I have issues with a lot of different styles of earbuds. I would definitely not use them for jugging because they would not stay in my ears very long. Overall I am very satisfied and impressed with the earbuds and would recommend them to people looking to buy an inexpensive yet good quality set of wireless earbuds.

The soundcore liberty air are very good for their price. Right off that bat, I will tell you what is wrong with them, they don’t have USB-C and skipping tracks takes way too long. But other than that, they are solid. The support AAC, so if you have an iPhone or a new android phone you will get HD audio. I experienced no audio lag and the battery life is really solid. I got about 3 8-hour days on them. They fit in my pocket well, which is nice since I lost my last set of wireless headphones on the subway, and unlike airpods they are proper in ears and passively cancel noise. The mics sound good and they pair quickly, though they do not suppose pairing with multiple devices and only the right ear bud can be used stand alone.

I bought our kids (teenagers) the Liberty Air headphones in December as a gift. Overall, they are really good for the price. I was not willing to pay more than $100 for something they may not use long term and these fit the bill. Turns out they use them almost daily and have not had any issues. I have used them a few times myself and the sound quality is really good for the price. I have the Jabra Elites which do sound better, but they are twice the price. Also, I was also concerned they might fall out with some light exercise, but they do stay in place. I definitely recommend checking them out. I see they are now available in white, but I would stick with black as you won't look like everyone else with their overpriced Air Pods.

Good product. Love the charging case and that the product is black vs the white airpods. Great distance for connectivity. Music or calls come in clearly when the phone is far away. Cons would be you can only use the right earbud if you opt to use only one. You should be able to use either side independently. This is a slight deterrent to me because I prefer the left ear but it doesn't affect functionality. Also it picks up even subtle background noise which can be annoying when on a call for the person on the other end. There is also a slight lag when connecting to a device compared to other bluetooth devices. Overall great product and option for non airpod users seeking an affordable stylish true wireless earbud.

I've been using these for almost a year and I'm very happy with them. Music sounds good and full, speech is clear, the mic is good, they last a long time on a charge, and the charge in the case holds its own charge for a several recharges of the buds. It also pairs to my phone really quickly. Sometimes I miss the beep in the time it takes to remove from the case to plug into my ear. The one downside is that they come out of my ear if I'm moving around too much, even with the largest tips. I bought some third party tips that fit but that means it doesn't fit in the charger, so they have to be removed.

These were on sale for 70 when I bought them. They have a nice bass reapons, and their passive sound isolation is great. The go for 5+ hours per charge, and the case can charge the earphones for another 2 charges. One gripe is that occasionally one ear will not work. In that case you will need to reset the earphones. Pull out one earphone, tap it 4 times, then out it back in the case. Then do the same to the other. Close the case then reopen and then it should work. I've had the set for about two months and I've had to do it twice. Luckily, the manual gave these instructions.

I did a bunch of research into the best true wireless buds under $100. From all the reviews on YouTube and the price, I decided to go with these. Anker is a great company so I knew they'd be good, but I didn't realize they'd be great. They don't feel cheap and the case is also sturdy and durable. I would throw it in my bag and it always held up without the earbuds falling out. They do look a little cheap because of the shiny plastic, but they're really good quality. The sound is loud, clear, and the bass is good but not overwhelming. The changeable ear tips help you find the perfect fit to seal your ear and block other sounds out. The battery life is great, I used to use them all day to listen to podcasts and they'd recharge in the case and be good to go. I only had to charge the case maybe once every two weeks. The phone calls on these are the reason why I upgraded to the Liberty Air 2's, though. The microphones aren't good, and I got complaints that I sounded like I was underwater or really far away. It isn't good at isolating your voice, and lets in a lot of background noise and static. Even in a completely quiet room, you'll sound far away on the phone. Other than that, these earbuds are amazing quality for the price. Sometimes you can get them on sale too. They fit perfectly in your ear, sound amazing, have a long battery life, and the magnetic click in the case is satisfying as well. These are perfect for people who like straightforward, simple earbuds that work well.

These are really good true wireless ear buds. They give other brands and models a run for their money. And for the price, these are probably the best bang for your buck. They fit really well, and they sound great. I used them in the office, outside on walks, and inside while doing house chores. The only reason I returned them was because I'm left hand/ear dominant and I wanted the left ear bud to have the same functionality as the right ear bud. I often only wear one ear bud around the house/office so I can still hear stuff going on around me or if someone needs to talk to me. I had a hard time using the right ear only. Sure, I could use just the left ear bud, but in order to do that, I had to make sure the right bud was out of the case and physically close by the left bud. If I wanted to change tracks, I'd have to find the right bud and use the controls - and I found myself just using my phone to change tracks (in addition to volume). When both buds were in my ears, they are a great product. However, my needs weren't met when I only wanted to use my left ear bud. I know this is a VERY nit-picky thing to dwell on, but it just my specific use case. I ended up getting the PowerBeats Pro which allow me to use the left ear bud independently of the right bud. They are insanely expensive, but I really love them.

These are very comfortable and reliable and the sound is very good. They stay connected to the phone and to each other and they don't fall out. The charger is excellent--very easy to use and it has enough battery power to last a trip without recharging. The sound quality could be better if they supported aptX, but for casual listening they are fine. The microphone works very well for phone calls, considering how unobtrusive it is.
