    Amazing Product

I want to start by saying I’m thorough and like to go into detail when I post reviews. So for the people that don’t want to read a whole review, I like this product & I recommend it. For the other people keep reading… This is my first time using a vacuum sealer. I dont personally know anybody that has one or ever has had one. I got tired of buying countless ziploc bags and dealing with water getting into the bag and soaking my meat while I thawed it. So I researched vacuum sealers for about 2 weeks and decided on this one mainly due to the reviews and a price that I felt was worth it. I purchased on black friday but today 1.4.25 was my first day pulling it out the box and seeing what I bought. I read the instructions and got to work and about a hour 1/2 later I had 20 vacuum sealer bags with chicken breast, chicken wings, salmon & ground beef. This product was flawless! I had 2 bags of chicken wings and 1 didnt seal. So really quick I want to say that this is why I like to write reviews. I found an issue and instead of immediately running to post a bad review I stopped and processed what went wrong and figured out how to fix it. So now when the next person comes along they have a honest review that can help them make their decision. I realized that with wet foods the liquid of course is being pulled in while vacuuming and some meats will release more liquid than others. So in regards to my wings they pulled WAYYY more liquid than anything else. So what I did was cut off where the seal originally was. Used a paper towel dried off the excess liquid that had been pulled up near the top of the bag and sealed it again. It still didnt seal all the way because more liquid had gotten in between the seals. So like I said I stopped and processed what happened and decided to seal it a second time in the same spot but this time I pressed the seal button and not the vacuum and seal button and it worked perfectly. Next go round I will dry off my chicken and see if that makes any difference. Also I seen on other product reviews that people said that you have to wait X amount of time after you seal one bag to seal another. I didnt have to do that once. Unfortunately I cannot post videos on this review but I had 20 sealed bags in total. In my video I showed myself sealing 5 bags and after every bag I rubbed my fingers across the part that is creating the seal on to show that it wasnt hot like I expected. I WOUNLDNT RECOMMEND THIS but if my 2 yr old somehow touched it before I could stop him I would be confident that it wouldnt even blister. ONCE AGAIN DONT RECOMMEND THAT, I’m just trying to give some context. Also I read a lot of reviews saying vacuum sealer machines don’t last long unless you buy an expensive industrial one. I unfortunately I cannot speak on that since I haven’t had one before but if I can, I will update my review in a year. As of today I like this product a lot and hopefully it keeps working as expected.

Works really well. This was our first vacuum sealer. The setup instructions are basically all pictures but it still only takes a few minutes to setup. The one hand usage is legitimate. Definitely easy to use, we bought on sale and would do so at that price again. Note that it cannot be used for soups, but you don't need to freeze food that's a little wet first to seal. We haven't used any of the advanced features like the tube that can be used for canning or something, so I can't speak on that. Other reviews said it was loud it seems pretty quiet to me. Hardest thing is making sure you get the bag size correct, you'll have trouble sealing if it's just a little too small.

Easy to use!! I was surprised at the noise.. it was louder than expected. But not a problem, just a surprise. The sealed item should keep better because of the vacuum. Size is not an issue

Very easy to set up and use. We had a little trouble figuring out how to put the roll of bags to sit in the roller so that you can use the cutter. The cutting arm lifts up. You need to measure what you are going to seal so that it reaches the vacuum well. Multiple automatic and manual settings.

Works best with its own brand of bags. Thicker/off brand bags will seal, but it won’t be as airtight. If you don’t mind using specified bags this is the machine for you.

Food Storage & Sous Vide Cooking Made Easy

For over a year I have been using the Water Immersion Method to avoid spending money on a legitimate vacuum sealer. This means that I have been simply lowering a Zip Lock bag full of food down into a pot of water. The pressure from the water pushes most of the air out of the bag - which is then zipped closed and clipped to the size of the pot (while the Sous Vide heats the water and slowly cooks the food). ...The Immersion Method works alright, but this Vacuum Sealer works MUCH better. If you cook using a Sous Vide, or if you want to vacuum seal food to increase how long it lasts in the freezer - a vacuum sealer really is an absolute must! The device is easy to use and it can seal just about any bag or package in the house. You can re-seal bags of chips, bags of candy, and can even create a water tight seal in a Zip Lock bag. The machine actually creates a double heat seal that holds incredibly well! And, you can seal bag after bag without the device over heating. While you can re-seal just about anything - the machine isn't always able to suck the air out of random bags. The lid closes very tight which doesn't always allow for air to flow in-between the two layers of chip bags etc. The actual Anova vacuum seal bag material is textured which allows the air to be sucked out before the heat seal is activated. So, purchasing legitimate rolls of vacuum seal plastic definitely works best. The machine stores the entire roll inside the device and even has a safe blade that trims the bag to the desired size. The Anova Vacuum Sealer does have a manual vacuum button which helps if you are trying to seal a bag with liquid inside. But, even when the manual function - it can be difficult to ensure that liquid isn't sucked into the machine (which causes a mess and can interfere with the heat seal). If you do enjoy sealing meat with marinade - this machine will work better than most, but still isn't perfect. Tip 1: If you do want to seal a zip lock bag, leave the lid clamped down for a few extra seconds while the plastic cools down. If you open the lid right away, the zip lock back might melt apart and ruin the seal. The cons are rather minor, but I don't like that the handle used to clamp down the lid is made of glossy plastic which very quickly shows finger prints and smudges. I also don't like that there is no way to turn the device off when the lid is closed. We have young kids in the house and I would prefer to keep the Vacuum Sealer on the counter with the lid locked shut. But, when you close the lid, the buttons are activated. There is no on/off switch - so I end up unplugging it and storing it in-between uses. (The machine is pretty big, so it is probably not a good idea to leave it on the counter taking up space.) Tip 2: Make sure to leave a large amount of empty space at the top of the bag. If you attempt to vacuum seal a bag that is too short, the suction will cause the bag to crinkle and the the seal will not be air tight. When the heat seal activates, some air will flow back into the bag. Over all, my family has been truly impressed and I feel pretty foolish for trying to go so long without one. Sous Vide cooking is now easier and we can make sure that meat can be stored for longer periods without freezer-burn.

Works okay, but every time I’ve used it, the bag loses its seal and air seeps in losing its suction. I’ve tried multiple times and the Anova bags, other bags and it’s still the same. I’ve tried reaching out to Anova and no help. I would avoid.

I own a food save and have for many year. When i saw this i had to give it a try and i have to say this is now my new kitchen gadget. I have to say the double seal on this is great i didn't get that from my other device. When sealing the food the vacuum still runs so it doesn't let the air slowly leak back in. I used this to seal 10lb of raw chicken 10ibs of raw hamburger and 4ibs of BBQ chicken. I want to give it a workout on the 1st day and it kept working. It didn't get to hot to where i had to stop using it to let it cool down because it didn't want to seal the bag. This is a workhorse it didn't skip a seal. I even had a wrinkle in the bag and it sealed it like nothing no air got in and no juice got out. This takes up less space easy to function comes with 1 roll and a hose to seal canisters. It has a pulse on it to function to so you so you can vacuum out as much as you need to. The inside seal comes out for easy cleaning but the drip tray does not come out i didn't get any in the tray but to have that come out would be great easy to clean it then and dry. They make there own bags i have not looked up the price of them as i have a lot of other brands to use up first. I has a storage hole for the cord that it all fits into easy take out and store it back in. The vacuum is powerful and the double seal is very nice. This is a must have for me.....

I chose this to replace my old vacuum sealer and I'm glad I did. The Anova Precision Vacuum Sealer Pro is everything I would want in a vacuum sealer. Operation is simple - you measure off the length of bag you need from the roll, seal one side, insert the food, insert the open end of the bag into the sealer, hit the vacuum seal button and about 30-45 seconds later your bag is completely void of air and sealed off - ready for either the freezer or the sous vide. What I really like about this device is that the lid locks - you can insert the bag, lock the lid, and then hit the button for completely hands free operation - you don't have to hold down the lid. This is a huge time saver as you can be doing something else while the bag is sealing. If you have a sous vide, this is almost a must. I used to put food in ziploc bags, and even with a number of tricks to get all of the air out, the bags were still buoyant to a point and required clips/weight to keep them down. Vacuum sealed bags allow the food to remain immersed below the surface without additional weight, which is awesome. The sealer also has an external vacuum hose that you can use to seal compatible jars or remove the air from bags. The other big use for this is to buy in bulk and save money - you can buy larger quantities of things when they're on sale and vacuum seal them for the freezer. When all the air is taken out, food does not get freezer burnt - so therefore lasts longer and tastes better. Overall, I'm super happy with this sealer and would highly recommend.

This vacuum food sealer - Anova Precision is fantastic. I LOVE that you can select for moist or dry food AND it creates a double seal. It's so fast and quiet and always produces a good seal. Previously I had a Weston and it was so slow and noisy and I never knew if it was going to work or make me unplug it and start over. I'm so happy to have this sealer now!

A Great Balance of Convenience and Quality

The Jet 90 is convenient, has powerful suction, excellent battery life, and is well equipped for any vacuuming job at home or in a car. My previous stick vacuum was the budget friendly Hoover Blade+, but the battery life was abysmal and the suction was only strong enough for a superficial surface clean. Every time I used the Blade+, I was shocked at how quickly the battery depleted. The Samsung Jet 90 is sturdy, well built, and the battery actually lasts long enough for me to complete vacuuming chores without having to stop to recharge. I greatly appreciate that the Jet 90 has separate attachments for hard floors, as well as carpeted flooring. Each level of suction is a noticeable improvement in strength and I am truly confident that the vacuum is able to pull dirt from deep in the carpet for a superior clean. I was also incredibly relieved to find that the hard-floor brush is able to suck up larger crumbs. ...We have a 6 year old, so if a vacuum is not able to suck cheerios off of our hardwood floors, then it’s a huge fail for us. (Our previous stick vacuum sat so close to the floor that it would push debris across the floor instead of actually sucking it up. This is not a problem with the Jet 90). What I don’t like is the charging station sits on the floor and takes up more space than wall-mounted stick vacuums. The charging station can only hold two out of the 5 included accessories. Since the accessories don’t all attach to the charging station (or the vacuum itself) storage ends up cluttered - which is frustrating. I also feel that the dust bin could be larger. I don’t think I have ever completed a single job without having to empty the bin multiple times. Having a bigger bin wouldn’t add much weight and the extra physical bulk would be worth the added convenience. I was also surprised to find that the Jet 90 doesn’t actually come with the mop attachment. It turns out that the Jet 90 is compatible with a “Jet Spinning Sweeper Tool” that spins two disposable wet wipes, or two microfiber pads - But, this attachment is incredibly difficult to find and it is very expensive. The V90 is quite expensive, but I believe the build quality, the suction power, the battery life, and the convenience of included tools all justify the price. NOTE: To save around $100 there is the option of the Samsung Jet 75 Cordless Stick Vacuum, but it does not have as many accessories as the Jet 90. It does not have the freestanding Dual Charging Station, the ability to charge a second battery, the mini motorized tool, the telescopic pipe, or the ability to use wet and reusable microfiber pads (via the “Jet Spinning Sweeper Tool”). PROS: + Battery Life truly is long enough to complete cleaning tasks + The vacuum has excellent suction and each mode (low, medium, high) is actually a noticeable improvement over the previous setting + The vacuum head is raised high enough to allow it to suck up larger pieces of dirt & debris + The charging stand is able to charge a spare battery simultaneously + The charging stand holds two accessory attachments + The noise produced is quieter than similar stick vacuums + The HEPA filter does a tremendous job at trapping dirt and filtering the air that is pushed out + The filters can all be washed and cleaned + The telescopic pipe attachment can be used with all other accessories and makes the vacuum comfortable to use for users who are both short and tall + Even the mini upholstery head is motorized + The vacuum does a good job at recognizing when an object is clogged / stuck and stops the head from spinning (until the issue is corrected) + Unlike many other stick vacuums, the Jet 90 can stand up (you can lean it against a wall when emptying the bin, etc) - this is surprisingly convenient + The head of the vacuum has superior maneuverability as it rotates and pivots effortlessly CONS: - The dust bin is quite small and needs to be very frequently emptied - No accessories can be stored on the actual vacuum. - The charging stand only has space to store 2 accessories (but the vacuum comes with 5) - The telescopic pipe must be shortened to its smallest size in order to fit on the charging stand - The advertised battery life of 60 minutes can only be achieved on the lowest suction setting and without any motorized accessories attached. - The V90 does NOT come with the “Jet Spinning Sweeper Tool” - which spins two microfiber pads, or disposable wet pads. (This tool is incredibly difficult to find and is quite expensive.) - There is no light on any of the vacuum attachment heads - Cannot be hung up on a wall - The upholstery attachment cannot reach the actual surface being vacuumed due to plastic guards that sit below the roller. - The upholstery attachment does not open up like the full sized heads - which makes it much harder to clean

Love the double seal. It is very slow in doing the final seal but it does get all the air out finally. You have to wait until the little round sealing circle light goes out so don't get impatient and you will be happy with seal. On the negative side Roadie delivered the item on a main road at my rural mail box just by leaning it against the post and just as it was starting to rain. They said it was delivered to the mail room and then had the nerve to take a picture of it leaning on the mailbox post. When I complained they wanted wanted to know what my problem was? Well it could have been stolen so far from my house or ruined by the rain if I hadn't noticed the text of the delivery. They were very rude and I would never use Roadie again if Best Buy continues to use them.

At first I was unsure about the fact there are no written directions for how to use this product. But after carefully looking at the "pictograms" I gave it a try and it worked great. I like that you can make the size of the bag as large or as small as you want by adjusting the roll. Provides a great seal, is quite and quick.
