Is ok for 4k

Make sure your computer can support 4k @ 60hz. * When connected to 15" macbook pro (mid 2014) it allows pretty good scaling options. * When connected to my 13" macbook pro (mid-2014), the scaling options were pretty limited and everything were pixelated. I wouldn't not recommend this monitor to 13" macbook pro users. * When connecting windows desktop (r7-260x) 1) HDMI was able to drive 4k, but only at 30hz and caused serious lag. 2) Displayport was able to drive 4k @ 60hz without any lag. It's a great monitor for those who is looking for 4k.
