Got this to replace old one. Plug and play, works great. Good batter life and will keep my wife's home office up in case of power failure.

This easy to setup APC backup system is first rate, working well. Has multiple backed up and surge only ports. Sotware to control is easy to use.

Bought this to replace an older and larger unit with less VA. Like the design of the battery backup. Plenty of outlets for my computer and peripherals.

My original purchase broke with the first power outage. The experience with tech support was not that painful and they shipped me a replacement. The new unit has not missed a beat. I plug my A/V equipment including TV into the unit. Make sure to add up all the wattage that your equipment takes so you don't exceed the output of the UPS.

I have a few UPS's and this works just like the others. I also like how this one has more outlets that are UPS powered and not simply surge protection.

This battery backup is great for a consumer or prosumer to use for a small home office or media center application. It will easily support a desktop computer and accessories, or a TV and several add-ons. I purchased it to power my network equipment including cable modem, wifi router, and network switch to keep them on in the event of a power outage, because even if the power is down, the cable signal will typically still work, and it will allow me to continue working with laptops as needed. Has 6 outlets on the battery, and three additional that are not battery, but still surge protected.

The battery backup and surge protector are awesome and allows me to connect everything I need for an office workstation. Printer computer monitor and other items

This is a trusted brand with a long history. This UPS is in use and has performed without fail for me thus far. The software that can be downloaded is somewhat hard to find, because it is dated. However, searching the internet will lead you to the right version. The software gives you finer control of how and when the UPS kicks in protection... Over voltage, under voltage, blackout, etc... Definitely a good product. Batteries are consumable, so expect to replace them every few years, but depending on demand, I've had batteries last 10 years!!!

This is a great UPS, I use it on my Modem, router, switch and cable box. I have had a couple of power outages since the install and the unit worked flawlessly.

New design is much better looking than the previous model. Have had no issues so far after one month. Wait for it to be on sale before you purchase it though.

I bought this when my surge protector failed to even trip. At least I know this will keep constant power flowing to my computer. I get power fluctuations from time to time (bad circuit I think) but this does the trick. We have them at work too.

Needed to replace my laptop. I was hoping to hold off until after Christmas but it did not work out that way. I saw that Best Buy had holiday hours and was opening at 8 am so I got there at 8 and found the perfect laptop at a good price.

I use UPS's for my recordings. The size of this is better than other APC units to fit behind a cabinet or TV as it is taller rather than wide. However, I found it necessary to go to a You Tube video to figure out whether I was connecting the battery correctly. Also, the three-year warranty it has requires you to ship the product back to the manufacturer which would seem to be fairly expensive due to its weight. It does have some good spacing for bulky AC adapters. I will mark this as a yes recommendation, but only if the price is right.

Do the Math! Reviewing a Back-UPS is like reviewing a fire extinguisher. So fare so good. Do the Math! learn how to convert and add Watts and Volt/Amps. Do not get a UPS that is to small for the load it will have to carry. Remember the internal batter only has a limited life span. I like the compact space of the unit I bought. This one is smaller but more powerful than the old one I had for over 12 years. I believe this one will be as good as my old one.

APC has always made a reliable UPS system. This one is no different. Compact size, enough outlets for my use. No complaints or issues.

always like apc products. they work well. only need the monitor and cpu on the backup part everything else is on the surge part

No more reboot of the wifi and directv. I wish this model had a USB port but overall extremely happy with this one

Very easy to set up. Took minutes and will buy again if needed. Familiar with the brand and they always worked well for me.
