I have battery backup with AVR on all my electronics. It protects from brown outs and surges i receive from time to time. The last one fried my Netgear R6300 router so I bought two of these. One to protect my primary router and printer. The second will cover my media gateway so even when i don't have power my recording will continue, I can watch cable and still use the internet.

Set up was quick and easy. Keeps my electronics running during low/no power.

Bought this cause I needed a new one, has been working great so far, hasn’t been an power outage so haven’t seen it do what it’s meant for. Other than that it’s great!

Use it to backup my routers and Wi-Fi cloud based security cameras. Will allow them to keep on recording even if the power is accidentally or purposefully turned off.. Also use it to back up my cable box and stereo equipment

I wanted to have a UPS for use with the av equipment that had hard drives (DVR, PS4, Xbox One) as well as surge suppression for the other stuff (amp/tv). This unit fit the bill. I also like that when it's on battery power, the default (which you can change if you'd like) is NOT to beep every 30 secs (my old APC 650 didn't support this). All in all, well worth it to protect my equipment.

The outlets are well spaced for connecting a variety of devices. The USB cable is plenty long, the Windows Powerchute software works well, and the UPS is well supported in Linux, too. Only downside so far: the unit does a poor job reporting the amount of power being used at any given moment, making the various power/cost calculations in the Powerchute software nearly worthless.

I bought this unit for a PC in our office that runs several peripherals. Got it just in time as storm season kicked into high gear in Houston and we had several power outages in the course of a single afternoon. Thankfully since our network is on it's own battery backup everything stayed up and running for nearly 10 minutes during a singular outage and we were able to maintain productivity.

I have purchased and installed well over 100 APC Uninterruptable Power Supplies over the past 25 years. All but one is still in service. Hurricane Wilma took out that one but it saved the PC plugged into it. If electrical sparks freak you out have the Geek Squad connect the internal battery. Don’t let them charge you for it. It takes about 15 seconds.

APC is one of the leading companies in Battery back/surge protection. I needed a new surge protector, and looked up online for info... The 900va had a high rating, and was not overly priced... So far after several power bumps, nothing has shut down. Very pleased with my purchase, and will be buying another one shortly. I go to BestBuy for all my electronic purchases, better quality...

High ranking as usual. APC has been in my home for over 25+ years; I've tried other, less expensive UPSs before but it was a mistake; they only lasted a mere fraction of time a APC UPS lasts, so if you want to save a few dollars in the future buy APC otherwise save money now to pay more (sooner than you have to) now to get the best..

I had numerous battery back-up devices for years. I've changed out batteries in the past but some were over 15 years old. I decided it was time to begin replacing the entire appliance rather than the batteries. I've purchased this new, and it's been in place protecting Network, Audio and Television components. Works like a charm, plugged it in and plugged into it - never looked back.

It is an excellent Back UPS very reliable, easy to use.

A great unit in s small footprint, shutdown software capable

I bought this unit to replace an APC that I had owned for almost eight years. Hope this one equals the service I got with the one I replaced.

due to electric storms - and sometime hurricanes -, in Florida, we lose power quite often. This little thing allows the cable box and TV to keep working without breaks, which many times would mean a complete reboot of the cable box. Enough juice to go through a few minutes without electricity.

Works as intended. The amount of outlet plugs were perfect for my needs. I have yet to get a surge at my home but only time will tell.

Second one of these. I like the ability to have unit properly shut down computer when power goes off. Unit also monitors power fluctuation from expected voltage. Paperwork shows pre sale testing for quality control. Not sure APC even has any competition. I think on my last one battery lasted over 5 years.
