I refused to upgrade my older Ipad for 6 years. I never felt there was enough innovation to warrant the purchase. Finally, I took the plunge. I went to the bigger 12.9" Pro. Thus, I upgraded the size and the processor. I used to have the iPad Air. I wasn't sure about how I would like the much larger size. I shouldn't have worried. In this case bigger really is better. I pick up the old one from time to time and realize my older eyes appreciate the choice. I read voraciously. This 12.9" iPad Pro was just the thing I wanted. No regrets.

Love this iPad! The extra large screen makes it easy to watch videos and use the touch screen. The clarity is on another level!

I love everything about this iPad. I bought an off brand pencil and have been writing/drawing during this quarantine. The hardest decision was which size to buy the 11” or the 12.9”. I feel like a 12” size would be perfect. I tried out both sizes but ended up choosing the 12.9”. It’s basically the same dimensions as a piece of paper so writing and drawing on it seem very seamless. I bought this for grad school to take notes and I love that I can annotate slides the way I want them. This doesn’t completely replace my laptop but I definitely use this iPad way more than my laptop.

Literally the best laptop/iPad combination in the marketplace today! I upgraded from a MacBook Pro 13-inch (2017) and I am so happy that I did. I was hesitant at first that I would not be able to use this as a laptop but you most certainly can. For example, I run MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) on this as if I was using my laptop. You need to purchase Office 360 in order to do so btw. You do not lose any functionality with this iPad when compared to a MacBook Pro. I highly recommend this computer/iPad if you are looking for that hybrid machine!

Love it! The narrower sides can be hard on the hands if you hold it a lot but the screen and sound are great. It's lightweight for the size.

I had the most recent airpad 3rd gen it was always good enough. But like all brands there is always their pro top of the line. And this is it. The 12.9 Pro iPad is as good as it gets. Theres no tablets out there can beat it. That said, like all top of the line products from Apple- its so f’ng expensive a 256 gig is 1,337.00 w/60 dollars tax! Ridiculous. But like the iphone u get what u pay for! Its screen resolution and screen size make it easily a mini macbook. Everything about it makes it superior to any other mobile tablet out there!

Large surface area and pairs great with the magic keyboard. Camera is crystal clear. Definitely a good substitute for a laptop. Downfall is price.

I have a Cintiq at home, loves it, but i needed something more portable to bring outside to draw. I have the previous 10.5” ipad model with the first apple pencil. It was good, but the pressure sensitivity was not good enough. Honestly, i dropped it, the screen cracked so i upgraded to this 12.9” model with the new processor. It’s so so much faster. Drawing huge files with tons of layers is a breeze. I even made webtoons with Ipad. The only draw back is the texture of the screen, its too smooth and you may need to get matte screen protector.

Love apple products but this by far is my favorite. I love my 12.9 inch screen. Easy to use, battery life lasts a long time. Love this ipad.

I had the older gen same screen size but it was a lot bulkier than this new 4th gen. camera quality is a lot better too. Processor is faster.

You always worry when the size of a device increases, but the Apple 12.9-inch IPad Pro only advanced the tablet. The picture is excellent and the sound superb. I bought it for my wife for Christmas after hers was stolen. She's been so thrilled with it that we don't seem to be spending as much time together as before (ha ha). Personally, it does my heart good to see her so happy. And honestly: Given how outstanding the features are on the 12.9, I'm secretly glad that she needed the replacement. Thank you so much.

I upgraded to this from the 7th gen 9.7inch iPad, huge difference in screen size and brightness, much faster and I use the lidar scanner for work and also got the pencil and magic keyboard case and they are such nice additions to this. Huge upgrade to what I had but that was expected. Great product overall never had any problems with it so far and had for about a month. I did buy some of the screen protectors that make it feel like paper for the pencil and man what a difference when you are using it as a notepad.
