Amazing noise cancellation! The AirPods Max delivers exceptional noise cancellation, creating an immersive listening experience. However, the audio quality is good, but not exceptional. I find myself wishing I could turn up the volume even more. Comparing it to the Beats by Dre, the AirPods Max is definitely superior, but the price is hard to justify. The bass is solid, and the highs are crisp, but I really wish it had a bit more volume. Additionally, the over-ear design is comfortable even for my XXL head, but it tends to make me feel hot after extended use. One of the standout features is the seamless integration with Apple products. I only had to add the AirPods Max to my Mac once, and it automatically became available on my other devices when they were in proximity. A notable experience was when I was using the headphones on my Mac and received a phone call on my iPhone. Surprisingly, my iPhone allowed me to answer the call directly on the AirPods Max, enhancing convenience. However, there is one disappointment: the Max did not provide the same level of integration with non-Apple devices. It would have been great to have that seamless connectivity across different platforms. Another aspect worth mentioning is the battery life. The AirPods Max boasts impressive battery performance, providing several hours of continuous usage on a single charge. I recently purchased the Apple AirPods Max, and they have exceeded all my expectations. So, I’ve got an interesting story first about the service, then about the product. I had a pair of Sony WH1000XM4’s I purchased a year ago and essentially after using them I realized they weren’t for me, they actually hurt my ears, and the noise cancellation made me nauseous, so essentially I forgot about them (don’t judge me lol). A year later I went to the best buy on 82nd in Portland, OR, and I tell them this, the product was essentially brand new, had the og box and had everything in it, let me say I did not expect to get any money back for these and thought since I’m nearby why don’t I give it a shot … they returned the entire product for me and let me pay the difference for a pair of Airpods Max’s, essentially all I had to pay for these were $132, absolutely fantastic, and I wanna thank Noah, Arianna & Johny for helping me & doing this for me, and this will be one of the many reasons I’ll be shopping at best buy for a long time. Now the product, ended up getting the Black Airpods Max’s, these are absolutely fantastic, ESPECIALLY the noise cancellation, like I said previously the Sonys made me sick, didn’t feel good on my ears, and actually gave me a headache & nausea but these? PERFECT, I’ve been on a 6-hour flight with these on and let me tell you when you turn that noise cancellation on, you hear nothing but what you want hear, example you watch a movie? You’re gonna hear everyone’s voices clearly and everything else around you is non-existent, and they don’t make me nauseous or give me a headache!!! I’d say arguably these are one of the best noise cancelling headphones on the market currently, the battery life is also great, I had these on for a total of 8 hours including my plane ride and didn’t have to charge them once, highly recommend for those looking for longer battery life headphones and especially ones for longer flights, the headphones are extremely comfortable as well, I had earrings on and put these on over them and my ears didn’t feel cramped and were very cushioned, and I love how you can remove them and buy newer ones, now these are my ears that find them comfortable, I’d recommend trying them on in store if your skeptical. Bluetooth is also fantastic whenever your phone is nearby instantly finds the max’s and connects them. There’s a few downsides I’ve found with these headphones 1) the sound quality and base, it’s not the best imo, but everything else makes up for it, so it’s alright with me, 2) essentially these will never turn off or don’t have an off button you put them in the case and goes on sleep mode and essentially that’s turning it off lol, this doesn’t bother me but it might bother some, essentially keep your charger close by and charge it every night, you’ll be fine, 3) the last thing is these are indeed on the heavier side, they didn’t give me headaches however … I’ve seen reviews of people who have the opposite reaction, honestly, testing them out in store and using them for at least half a hour will probably let you know if the weight is going to be an issue, or buy them, keep the box and accessories and return them brand new after a week of using and you can get your money back. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase, and I don’t plan on returning these ever lol, thank you so much to everyone at the 82nd and Portland, OR store for helping me out! I’ll be back when I need more electronics!

I always to buy the AirPods Max to try it, since I was pretty amazed by the AirPods pro 2 ( which is still my go to earphones). But the price of AirPods Max was always too expensive for me. So I bought the Sony XM4 and those were pretty good but not outstanding for my listening preferences. And then one day I saw the AirPods Max on discount and so I immediately bought it to try it. And as I expected, they are astonishing . The spatial audio, noise cancellation, transparency mode - everything is perfect. Yes it has few demerits, like the case doesn’t cover the entire headphones, there is no button to switch it off and is heavier than the other headphones in same price range. But you get used to those little imperfections pretty soon, cause you start loving immersive audio that has an outstanding sound stage. And so I returned the Sony XM4 and still use the AirPods Max everyday for indoor use. For outdoors and my workouts - I still use my AirPods pro 2 - since they are sweat resistant. In summary, I would recommend every Apple user to give the AirPods Max a chance and I’m certain that you’ll also be amazed as I’m till this day - whenever I put my AirPods Max on.

First off, i must say that i’m coming from the bose qc45’s. An already great pair of headphones that I use for the gym. They had good noise cancelling,comfort, and sound. That being said these COMPLETELY blow those out of the park. The noise cancelling difference is NIGHT AND DAY. Spatial audio works really well. The sound quality is so much more rich. They feel higher quality also. The integration with apple devices is definetly a plus as well. The bose would auto connect but the apple ecosystem is just so much more seamless. I will say tho, if you are on android, get the bose. Becuasw your getting the same offering on both ends. But apple? A good old pair of airpods will do the job just nicely. 2 small things though, they are Substantially heavier than the bose but not with dealbreaking weight. I go to the gym 6x a week and do a range of exercises including cardio and they stayed snug most of the time. Unless you tilt your head back 90 degrees they probably wont move much. And also the inability to turn them off is kind lf annoying, but my battery never dies so i guess its alright. All in all good headphones

These Apple airpod maxes are the best headphones ever. The noise cancellation is insane. When you switch the mode to noise cancellation you cannot hear anything! The headphone is ridiculously loud. Also they are very comfortable and with a simple design that matches with everything. Also the battery life last HOURSSSS.

Best wireless over ear headphones available I absolutely LOVE these headphones, they’re by far the best overear headphones you can buy-especially if you own/use them with an Apple device. They’re absolutely top quality headphones that any audiophile would love and appreciate, and they’re also absolutely gorgeous and beautifully designed, as all Apple products are. I love the range of colors available as well. One of the biggest, most stand out features of these aside from the excellent sound quality is their exceptional noise cancellation. These have THE best noise cancellation of any headphone on the market, regardless of price. No matter how loud and busy the world around you is, once you turn on noise canceling, it completely shuts the world out and lets you enjoy perfect silence or allows you to listen to your music or watch videos/movies without any background noise affecting and disturbing you. I also like the controls on the headphones themselves, as it’s very simple and intuitive. These Apple headphones aren’t just regular airpods! The noise cancellation for when you need to get in the zone or lock in is amazing or if your wanting to have music as background noise but still hear surroundings the active transparency is wonderful. Not to mention the fit for these headphones is nice and snug where you don’t have to worry about them falling off your head when making movements! Last but definitely not least the battery in these headphones can last you up to 5 days of everyday use. No other headphones are like this mind blown

Great design and even better sound. I mainly purchased these for the noise cancellation but I was surprised how good the sound is. Battery life is over 20 hours. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 star is because the case is useless and doesn’t offer any protection. You cannot turn off the headphones, they go into sleep mode only when they go inside the case. These should be in the $300-400 range. Overall the design and build quality is top notch and sound quality is superb!

These honestly slap so hard, seriously worth it! The ANC and Transparency modes on here are exceptional, especially transparency mode where it literally doesn’t feel like / sound like you have anything covering your ears; The voices are all so clear when others are around you! Super comfortable, and while others complain about the weight, I personally find them completely fine. Seriously recommend these for other Apple product enjoyers!

All the expectation surrounding the quality of these headphones was pleasantly met. If you are looking for clear and balanced sound, these fit the bill. They feel solid in your hands (and heavy on the head) but comfortable to wear (at least for me) for a few hours. Noise cancellation is better than my Sony XM4. Digital crown dial and secondary button does the trick to play, pause, and toggle ANC (Sony did spoil me with the tapping of headset to play/pause but it's fine) Spatial audio is mind blowing and the convenience to easily connect to any Apple device - including the Apple TV is how you're rewarded for being a part of their ecosystem. Sony's way to pair only two devices simultaneously comes at a cost of lower bitrate of music. And if paired with an iPhone, when people call me, they tell me I sound great with little background noise. It is a bit of a head scratcher that they don't support the higher quality bitrate of music that Apple Music has in their library. Also, charging by lightning cable instead of USB-C is also a selfish decision on their part but the battery life is great. If you have a really large head, make a hard pass onto something else. If you want skull crushing bass response, go elsewhere. The bra/purse/case to allow it to go into very low power mode is not very attractive in my opinion. Thankfully there are 3rd party cases that now do the same thing and it protects it better when thrown in the backpack for travel. I got these headphone at a great price due to price matching (Amazon), BB rewards cash back, and a gift certificate I got for my b-day. Took the price way down below $300 (and it came included with 2 years of AppleCare). Considering next gen APM should be announced this year, the price of this model should go down and make it even more suitable for purchase. I've used the APM for about a month.

This AirPod Max is comfortable on the ears. I like the color space gray. The speaker’s are super duper loud. When you put that noise cancellation on just know you can’t hear anything from the outside. I love it. You can hear and feel the beat with the bass OMG I love it.

Had these headphones since release really good overall headphones. Weight can get a little heft especially for people like me who more than likely always have a pair on, but over time you get use to it. The ear cups are detachable and capable of being easy to wash considering the ear cups are a mesh material. The transparency mode and noise cancelation are extremely good. When I mow outside I hear nothing and when I am in the loud city with noise cancelation. With the transparency it almost feels as if they are not there when listening other than the weight being a reminder. Overall the build is really premium considering the price. So, I would say worth, especially if they are on sale.
