Horrible performance, numerous issues thus far, would not recommend

My previous computer was a PC. It lasted 4 years before it became so SLOW!!! I wanted to try the MAC since there are virtually no virus issues. I didn't want to maintain my computer the way I had to with my PC. So I spent 1500 bucks on a desktop MAC. In less than a year, my iMovie application was failing. I called customer support and they wanted to charge me 50 bucks to fix the problem. They also offered me the 170 dollar repair version which would cover me for 3 years. I personally found this offensive and elitist and I refused to pay for the repair. Applications failing is less than a year!!! I never had any applications fail on my PC!!! I paid 1500 bucks on this computer when I could have gotten a PC with all the power of this MAC for half the price!!! I will gladly deal with the maintenance issues of a PC than have to deal with a pompous and elitist customer service. OVER PRICED AND OVER RATED!!! You have been warned. BZ

With mac, you're really just paying for the brand. This computer has a duo-core 3.02 GHZ processor. This is INCREDIBLY outdated with the i3, i5, i7, and quadcores out. I bought this computer because i'm a designer, and it was terrible. I had non stop lag with the browser, and you can't even full screen the page easily. The "Magic" mouse sucks, and the keyboard has no outer number pad. This computer is not worth the money and you're just paying for the brand. If you're getting this for design, do yourself a favour and get a Dell XPS 8100.

I loved it so much but after installing windows using bootcamp it still was very limited, don't believe all you hear..now i am forced back to windows so I can do whatever I need to on the web.
