Huge upgrade from the 14 Pro, and I love the aluminum chassis. The orange color really pops. The design seems to really make an impact on cooling. Prob the most hyped I’ve been since the iPhone 7.

I absolutely love my new iPhone 17Pro. I purchased the cosmic orange model. One of the highlights is how long the battery stays charged and the how quickly it charges. I purchased this model because of the camera functions. The quick access to the camera makes it easier to take pictures and the telephoto lens has a 8x zoom capability which is comparable to many individual cameras.

I'm absolutely loving my iPhone 17 Pro in Cosmic Orange! The vibrant, cosmic hue is even more stunning in person – it's like carrying a piece of the galaxy with you. But beyond the breathtaking design, this phone packs some serious punch. The Display: A Visual Feast The Super Retina XDR display is simply divine. Colors pop, and the high refresh rate makes every interaction silky smooth. Whether I'm gaming, streaming, or just scrolling through social media, the visuals are always crisp and immersive. Performance: Lightning Fast The A19 Bionic chip delivers incredible performance, effortlessly handling demanding tasks like video editing and gaming. I've noticed a significant boost in speed and efficiency compared to my previous iPhone. Camera: An improvement, but not that much better. The camera system on the iPhone 17 Pro is phenomenal. The new telephoto lens takes stunning portraits, and the Night mode is incredibly effective. The images are consistently sharp, detailed, and full of life, but they still need work. Battery Life: Needs more improvement I'm pleasantly surprised by the battery life on this device. However, it still needs improvement in terms of consumption. Verdict: A Must-Have if you have an iPhone 15 Pro and below! If you're looking for a premium smartphone that combines stunning design, incredible performance, and top-notch camera capabilities, the iPhone 17 Pro in Cosmic Orange is a must-have. It's a device that will make you fall in love with technology all over again. Overall, they should have stuck to Titanium and made it stronger and less likely to have very visible scratches.

Nice upgrade from a 13 Pro Max. It’s a better size for every day use. Much brighter screen with better scratch resistance. I think it gets even better battery life despite the battery size. The cameras are noticeably improved, especially the new selfie camera with the wide center stage shot. Ios26 feels smooth and looks very attractive. The Dynamic Island is more useful than I would have thought. Of course it also gets better performance, vapor chamber cooling so it doesn’t got as hot. I also love the new back camera design and 2 tone back. finally a new iPhone design.

I have only had this phone for just about a week, but I must say that it has done me well. First and foremost, I am writing this as someone who is coming from an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra). I have been an Android user since around 2010. So a lot of this review is going to be focusing on my switchover from the one to the other. First off, the switch was not painless. After so many years using an Android (BTW, I used to have a 3rd gen iPad but it has not worked for a few years now), switching was somewhat of a challenge. From trying to transfer all from my Android to my iPhone (17 Pro) was a bit difficult. I used an app to transfer everything. It was going ok at first, then after about 15 minutes of transferring the process stalled and quit. I could only start all over. I decided to not transfer all my photos and videos (I had already uploaded this stuff to the cloud, so it was not lost). This did help, but I realized that much of what I had transferred really was not necessary (wound up moving over 20k+ text messages that were just old texts that I did not need and did not transfer the newer texts that I did need). Also, my original moreover of contacts did not fully work at first. When I tried to call my son on the way home, it said the contact was not there. I stopped for dinner and went further in to try to figure out my contact issue (since I knew they should be there as they are on my MacBook). It turned out in the transfer process, my Google sign in did not take. I corrected that and there they were. Activating it with CarPlay was pretty easy. Originally I hooked it up with the data cable I had in my car (since I did not take the time to activate the Bluetooth). After activating Bluetooth, I found that wireless connection was way faster than my S22. But, comparing the two UIs is quite different. The CarPlay is a lot more simplistic and limited compared to Android Auto. Also Apple Maps is not as good as Google Maps (I miss the satellite and 3D function of Google Maps). That being said, CarPlay does give me widgets which include current weather. As for getting used to the way iPhone works compared to Android has been a learning curve. I do not like how all the apps on the iPhone are just there, no sense of order. So it has made it way more difficult to find a particular app. Once I figured out how to move apps around, it made it a bit easier, though still not perfect. On my S22, the apps could be organized in alphabetical order). Also the gestures has been taking getting used to (since you do not have the back/home/recently used apps button at the bottom of the screen like you do on an Android). But I will say that after a week of using this phone trying to go back to my Android work phone has been weird (I keep finding myself trying to swipe from the bottom of the screen to exit my messaging app on my work phone when I need to hit the home button). There is still a lot I have not used a lot on. I have used the camera some. The quality of photos is really good. If I were to compare the 17 Pro to my S22 Ultra, the pic quality would be somewhat close (though I cannot zoom in on my iPhone as much as the Samsung). I know I will get more chances to use the camera in the next couple of weeks. Overall, this has been a great phone. The Display is clear. The battery life is great (I get easily a full day on one charge). I decided to switch to iPhone because of my switchover to Mac a year ago. The integration of the two devices has been easy and almost seamless. My phone will even notify me when it is separated from my computer. If it wasn't for this, I probably would have stayed with the Galaxy S series.

Lots of negative reviews out on the web for the iPhone17 Pro being easy to scratch. Put it in a clear case and your problem is solved. Love the "cosmic orange" although it doesn't pop as well when you put a case on it. However, when you first open the box ...wow! That's one sexy looking phone. No major changes in this year's model but coming from an iPhone 14 Pro, this thing is super-fast. iOS 26 is also very fluid and runs extremely well right now. Battery life I'd say is definitely longer than 1d as I don't really go below 40% after taking it off the charger in the early morning (4A) and using it all day (11P).

Upgraded from the iPhone X to the 17Pro and found that it is much faster, camera is a ton better, and battery is decent. With minimal use, the battery will last 2-3 days. With average use 1-2 days, and heavy use 1 day. But overall, a decent phone.

The iPhone 17 PRO is working perfectly, with much faster speeds compared to my iPhone 12 PRO. Better sound and screen effects that encourages me to listen to my 17 PRO all the time. The screen comes alive with many screen savers that are loaded on the phone. The battery life is night and day better than my last iPhone! Best iPhone yet!

Glad I updated my phone to this new great color. Camera is outstanding on this phone. Still learning to fully navigate all the information and functionality on the phone. Also got this phone in organ and a second family phone also in the Navy. Quick battery charge works great.

Coming from an iPhone 14 Pro Max, the battery life in the 17 Pro is awesome!! This phone is fast, apps work smoothly and just a joy to use.

This is the fastest phone with the best camera I have ever owned. The color is unique and the build quality is exceptional. I recommend, too, the Apple protective Magsafe case.

recently upgraded to the new iPhone 17, and the entire process was seamless. Purchasing through Best Buy was incredibly easy the ordering process was straightforward, the staff was helpful, and pickup was quick and hassle-free. Transferring all my data, apps, and settings from my old phone to the iPhone 17 was just as simple. Apple’s setup assistant made the transition smooth, and within minutes my new phone was fully ready to use. Overall, the experience was fast, stress-free, and the iPhone 17 itself has been excellent so far.

The best iPhone yet. The camera is absolutely incredible and its low light capability… WOW! The camera button takes some time to get used to but is a nice addition. I upgraded from an iPhone 13 Pro and have no regrets. If you’ve been holding off on upgrading, the iPhone 17pro is definitely worth it!

Good upgrade from iPhone 14. Solid battery life. About the same size. Not a fan of the enlarged camera hump. Same screen as 14. Same camera as 14. Same good quality product from apple as always. Worst part is Verizon’s payment plan now lasts 3 years instead of 2!
