Doesn't always work, no reason why. Not dependable. I plan to purchase another phone, I will not buy anything else from Apple.

It was amazing when it worked. After about a week, It stopped charging. I had to remove device from case then reinsert to get the case to work again. Looked online and apparently that is a common issue. Had to return because of this problem. I really enjoyed the case but if it had this sort of problem after about a week didn’t want to take my chances on it failing later on.

Used it on my phone one time, for 5 days and the coating is wearing off the case in a couple places. Otherwise, functions as intended.

This item blocks the mic pickup, and really is annoying to people on the otherside of the call. Anytime you use the speakerphone function it cuts in and out, in and out. Its annoying as hell. Almost makes me wish we went for the Mophie instead. Only bought this because it didnt require another different and distinct charging cable..

Did not like that it is constantly charging and you cannot turn it off. So the backup battery may be wasted by the time you need it.

The case works great until the silicone coating wears off, which it will eventually.

The first one did not charge fully so I returned and got another one. The 2nd one after using for about a month, does not charges the phone. I have to pull out the phone and put back in every time I want it to charge. What a terrible product. I can't even return it now.

The smart battery case required a later version of the iPhone 7 to work. The staff member installed it before checking if it was compatible with the version I owned. I returned the case due to it not functioning with my phone version. I did get store credit for the returned item.

The case does not operate properly. The case is supposed to power the phone first. Then the internal battery of the phone is supposed to provide power. The phone discharges first and cuts off, leaving a dead phone and fully charged case!

Most charging cases have an on/off button, this one doesn't, so it stays charging your phone. You'll be at 100 percent for maybe an hour until the case dies. I returned it. Id rather have a charging case that I can turn on when my phone is going to die.

This product claims 22hrs of battery life which I'm barely getting 10-12 out of.

The battery empty too fast I just bring it back Chinese brands are better quality

The phone is slim but the case is not, doesn't feel comfortable in the hand.

Bought The IPhone 7 charging case for my son 9/21/19. The case is no longer charging and The return policy ended 10/6/10. Not even a full month! I should have bought it directly from Apple and spent The little extra it would have cost!! Learned my lesson!!

We had 20 days and the connector broke. It was five days outside the return period so Best Buy did not stand behind. They sent me to Apple and Apple sent me back to BB. Buyer beware - purchase the extended warranty with this product to avoid similar situation.

case is too bulky, and shape makes difficult to hold.

Lightning connector inside of case broke on the first phone removal. Less than 4 hrs old (Christmas present) and has never left the house. Hoping to get a replacement with better durability.

Only because no star isn’t an option. 8 months into it doesn’t charge my phone anymore. Tried everything but still wont charge my phone. It charges up but that’s it.

This battery case caused issues with my daughter's new iPhone 7 and I ended up returning it. Best Buy was great in taking the item back with no hassles.
