My husband loves using this ipod. He says it saves him from storing all his music on his phone. It is such a great sidekick to have because it does so much more than stores all your music, has the ability to add all kinds of apps, i.e, facetime, email, maps, books, etc, even has a decent camera for everyday shots. We love using the Bluetooth feature to play music throughout the house. Although we bought a separate protective cover for it, we love the pretty blue color of the ipod even though you don't see much of it with the cover on it.

I have always been in love with apple products, and my very first gadget was an iPod touch in 2012 ... since then I have been buying apple products and I am still satisfied with the quality and performance of their products but with the battery is another different point of view, even tho this new iPod touch is what I just needed for my subscriptions and downloadable music. I love music, and it sounds wonderful on my iPod obviously the con is that if we want better earphones it is necessary to pay almost the same price we paid for the gadget just to get EarPods but the ones that come with the iPod sound good.

I fought till the end about going to the ipod touch. Loved my ipod classic. Classic wasnt staying charged long, etc Easy to use. I love that i can make playlists from the ipod touch. Can't complain about the classic. It lasted many years. Hopefully I'll get just as many years from this one.

My experience buying my iPod touch was great the website told me they had the model storage space and color that I wanted in stock when I got to the store it was there I purchased it. I ordered a case for it from Best Buy at a later date because they didn’t have one in stock, I now have it on the iPod I am happy.

I gave this to my wife as a present for Christmas and she loves it. I was updating her from an older iPod Touch that couldn't do every thing she wanted ( It wouldn't update its operating system--so some apps and websites stopped working on it and many videos wouldn't play). Plus, the old one would only last 5-10 minutes before the battery would die. The big improvement this new iPod has is that it can update its operating system (but not forever!) and it has more memory. While I believe rechargeable batteries should last more than four years, and mobile devices should be able to expand their memory, you end up being locked into an ecosystem. I still have an iPod Classic, and all my friends and relatives have iPhones. I was tempted to just break down and get an iPhone, but she loves the phone she has. I also got a present out of this, in a way--I received a fitbit for Christmas and it couldn't connect to my computer (Windows 7--I have since updated this with a dual-boot to Windows 10), my phone (one with no memory for apps), my tablet (old android operating system that cannot be updated), and my wife's old iPod Touch (again, too old of an operating system). So this made my fitbit a useful tool (until I updated to Windows 10) instead of a useless piece of plastic on my wrist. One last thing about battery life--My tablet and iPod classic are 6 and 10 years old respectively, and while there is some degradation in battery life, both can be used for for over ten hours before they need recharging. I recommend this iPod as a cheaper alternative to the iPhone. I cannot speak to its battery life because I have not monitored my wife's charging regimen. I believe she will get many years use and joy from this. And since she now has 128 GB of memory, I can put our entire music library on it and have plenty of room for apps.

Easily the best iPod so far. Super easy to use, small enough to fit in almost any pocket, phenominal capacity, and a surprisingly sharp display given its size; movies and TV shows look pretty good on this thing. The only downsides: The size that makes it so portable also can make it hard to use sometimes, especially in the car, or if you have larger hands and have become spoiled to much larger modern touch screen phones. Also, pack extra charge cables for the car or when you're out and about; the battery life isn't great. Still, if you're old-school and insist on carrying your music with you instead of streaming everything, this is a great way to go.

I love this iPod. I always used the classic, this is my first Touch. I love all the apps. It also takes amazing pictures.

Many people will say "why an Ipod in 2019, when your phone can do everything"; but honestly why not? The Ipod 7th gen has been amazing! I've had it for a couple of weeks now & I must say its a joy to have. Firstly i'm one of those people that tend to get annoyed with text messages popping up every few minutes, and having incoming phone calls frequently, I also like storing my music separately from all the important things on my phone, just so that I can use my phone optimally and not drain its battery. An Ipod is for those who love music, and I am definitely a music lover. I recommend this to anyone that likes storing their music separately from their phones, also its very compact in size almost like an Iphone 5, just more on the thinner side. The battery life is pretty amazing i think the longest mine lasted for was about 19 hours, just listening to music.

Love my Ipod, I have about 10,000 songs. Pictures, videos and room for so much more. This is my 2nd one, had to upgrade, so Worth the money. Great sound, bluetooths to everything. Very easy to use.

This is the iPod touch. If you're buying it, you probably already know what it can do. The camera is not that great. Battery life is not that great, especially when compared to Apple's latest phones. Video quality is so-so. The screen is tiny. So why did I buy it? It's a good device for my kid. That's why. He can download apps, create videos and edit them in iMovie, etc. He can take photos, and I can text him when he's on WiFi. He's only 10, and I don't want him to have a full-fledged phone. He's learning the iOS eco-system, which is great, because he's eventually going to have an iPhone. And he can do a lot on this little machine. Videos. Pictures. E-books. Facetime. Text. It's a perfect starter for a young kid. And with the 128GB storage space, he can take a lot of videos and a lot of pictures before we have to start talking about data management. If you're looking for a cheap device for a young kid who's just getting started with Apple products, this is a great way to go.

I am a fan of listening to lofi music, and this is the perfect device to connect to your HomePod and Airpods when you're enjoying some music on the side.

I bought this item to replace an iPod classic that is at the end of its life. Glad that it synced up with my iTunes library and playlists seamlessly. I prefer using a dedicated music player over a phone to avoid killing my phone's battery and to avoid notifications interrupting my music experience. Managed to eventually get iMessage and FaceTime working. Overall very happy with the form factor and ease of use.

So my daughter had a gen1 iPad mini that she loves. It still works but as she had been using it at her job teaching it wasn’t keeping up with all the new website stuff her school was adding to her plate. She has had the same phone for 10 years and it costs her $100 a year so she didn’t want a hyper smart phone— enter the iPod touch! It does everything she needs, camera, image editing, grade book, web browsing, reminder timers, solitaire, light reading, and she has access to everything she has on the iPad. The iPod has more memory, space, and power than her iPad! AND IT’S MORE PORTABLE! So while many might question its usability in the days of iPhones, there is still a place for those who don’t live every second plugged in. Shame finding a case for it is a pain though!!

I really like my iPod touch. It is much nicer than my iPod classic. This is my third iPod since 2007 and all were purchased at Best Buys at the Watertown, NY store. Positive experience. My order was messed up but Best Buy is allowing me to return items with out any problems. One item was not received when UPS marked it delivered. Bust Buy worked this out for me. Customer service is very good.

We have always loved our iPod Tocuches. When my wife's finally died, we had to replace it and not wait until the version 8 came out. This version is much faster and seems to sound even better that our previous version. We only use it an Audible player, but it stores almost 1/2 of our library and is very dependable
