    I bought this for my son's iPad, which like all things apple have to be adapted to work with the slower and dumber microsoft world.

    I bought this adapter to connect my MIDI keyboard to the iPad Mini 2 via USB. Works Perfectly. I am able to run MIDI supported apps and record music digitally.

    You can use this for literally anything. I mainly use it as a port between my IPad and microphone, but you can hook a usb up to an IPad as well.

    I used the lighting to USB cord to transfer vacation pictures from my camera to my iPad. Even though I had over 100 pictures, It was quick and easy to do.

    We were looking for an adapter to allow us to watch a video of our helicopter ride. The salesperson helping us told us that he was not 100% sure that it would work but it was our best shot. As it turned out it did not work. We returned it. The problem was not with the product but with the application. Would be really great if there was something that would work with our IPAD PRO
