    After reading “some” flash drives will work on iPad with this adapter I purchased it, first try, no luck (read I needed a power supply), added powered usb hub, no luck (read I needed an app to manage transfer process) purchased app, still no luck. I am sure it will work for transferring pics from camera but use caution if wanting to use with flash drive.

    Apple makes great adaptors. I usually buy generic cause they are cheaper but worth the price.
