tl;dr - A long-lasting, cordless, and excellent keyboard well worth the price, especially if you have Apple products.
I work from home, and I am also a graduate student, so I spend most of my time at my desk. As I expanded my workspace to include a second monitor to pair with my Macbook Pro, the Magic Keyboard has been an excellent addition to my workspace. First, it is effortless to pair with your Apple device through Bluetooth, where all you need to do is turn it on and find it through your System Preferences. It also keeps my workspace cord-free which is a huge benefit if you tend to have a smaller desk or many books, papers, notebooks, etc. The keyboard is slightly raised from the back, and there are four rubber grips on the bottom, which keep it in place, and it has a very natural fit in your hands. The typing is very smooth and has a satisfying feel to it, so much so that I prefer to use it over the built-in keyboard from my Macbook Pro. Having the numeric pad is also a benefit if you are frequently inputting numbers or are looking for a more classic look. Also, the battery life is impressive. From a full charge, I have been using the keyboard for 3 weeks, 4-7 hours a day, and it has only gone down to about 74% (if you regularly turn it off in the evenings or when not in use).
Unfortunately, it is not a backlit keyboard, so you'll want to keep that in mind. I did not have much trouble using it in lower-light situations as the white labels were pretty clear. Also, having the numeric pad built-in makes the keyboard a bit larger and bulkier, so it might not be ideal if you plan to travel with it. It is also more expensive than the white keyboard, but the space gray/black looks very professional and sleek and adds to the aesthetic that I find well worth the extra price.
Overall, this is a great product that will only enhance your productivity and enjoyment of the seamless pairing with Apple products.
I would recommend this to a friend

I recently upgraded to the Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Pad, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This keyboard is an absolute game-changer for anyone who relies heavily on numerical input in their daily tasks.
First and foremost, the build quality is exceptional, as expected from Apple products. The keys have a satisfying tactile feedback, making typing a pleasure. The addition of the numeric pad on the right side of the keyboard is a game-changer for productivity. Whether I'm crunching numbers in spreadsheets, entering data into databases, or simply typing in numeric passwords, having the dedicated numeric pad streamlines my workflow and saves me valuable time.
The sleek and minimalist design seamlessly integrates with my workspace, adding a touch of sophistication. The low-profile keys and slim profile make for a comfortable typing experience, even during extended typing sessions.
One of the standout features of this keyboard is the wireless connectivity. With Bluetooth connectivity, I can easily switch between my MacBook, iPad, and other devices with just a press of a button, providing unparalleled versatility and convenience.
Additionally, the built-in rechargeable battery ensures long-lasting performance, and the included USB-C to Lightning cable makes charging a breeze.
Overall, the Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Pad has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, design, and functionality. If you're in need of a high-quality keyboard that enhances your productivity and complements your Apple devices seamlessly, look no further. I highly recommend the Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Pad. It's a worthy investment for anyone seeking to boost their productivity.

I bought this keyboard because I had such trouble buying a non-apple keyboard with my last Mac book. However, I was skeptical of there, being that much of a difference and didn’t think paying the price for a separate Apple keyboard would be worth it in the end, but wanted to give it a try since I could always take it back.
There is a huge difference! First of all, it was so easy to connect once I found the on off switch. I love slim and easy to use. The keys are larger enough for my fingers, but they’re so quiet and of course I love the number pad always prefer. So far the battery life seems pretty impressive but I do turn it off when I remember just in case.
What I don’t like is the fact that it isn’t very ergonomic. As somebody who works 8 to 10 hours a day I do wish it had feet on it to kind of lift it up, but buying an ergonomic pad can help solve some of that problem. Hope this is something Apple solves for in the future because this keyboard is definitely a must have with any MacBook or Apple computer.

The standard keyboard that came with my computer is nice. Thank goodness when checking out, the Manager said I can return it. Very smart because once I tried this larger deluxe keyboard it is like night and day. The only thing I don’t like is it hurts my wrist, even if it’s only for a short time. Apple needs to come up with something to help others before they get carpal tunnel. Since I am being completely honest with you, I don’t really care for the mouse. It’s smooth & pretty to look at. Refer to photos, I have it on my wood desk …I’m always having to move it around. I tried using a mouse pad that didn’t work. I try to all kinds of different things and I’m having a difficult time. I am just doing the best I can with what I have. I am not one to complain and get a refurbished one.

The keyboard is great except it lays flat on the desktop. Not comfortable for me. Added angled velcro wall brackets on the back (see images) and clear door bumpers to prevent sliding. Working well after changes. Like it much better that original that came with the unit as this has integrated number keypad. Has a different feel that others(Logitech and Microsoft) but after a bit of use, it gets better.

The Apple Magic Keyboard seamlessly integrates into a graphic designer's workspace with its sleek design and wireless connectivity. Its low-profile keys provide a comfortable and responsive typing experience, ideal for extended work sessions. This keyboard is a perfect fit for multi-monitor setups, offering both style and functionality. With reliable wireless performance and impressive battery life, it's a must-have for graphic designers seeking a streamlined and efficient tool for their creative endeavors.

Puchased the Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad for my iPad Pro. Since I was working from home because of the pandemic and working on a laptop the whole day, I decided to try it using the Lenovo Thinkpad and it worked wonders. One issue that I encountered with the Lenovo was the numeric keypad. At first it didn’t work. I found out that I just had to click on the “clear” button on the numeric keypad side which acts like a numlock key.
I was also concerned with the ergonomics. I decided to purchase a riser and a wrist rest- paired together it made typing on the keyboard a very great experience.
I am extremely satisfied with the purchase since I can use it for both my iPad Pro and my work PC laptop.

Handsome, sleek and works well. However, it’s almost unforgivable that this board has no backlight.
It’s a perfect keyboard in function and aesthetic design, but this albatross of a missing feature on something calling itself a “magic” anything is why I only rated it 4 stars.
The Magic keyboard for the iPad offers backlighting. One would think the full sized wireless Apple Magic Keyboard would as well.
Anyway, it IS a beautiful board, no denying it. But simply should have light.

If you're going to buy a Mac keyboard, I highly recommend this version with the number keypad. The keys are quiet and the board itself is very thin. It's a little long so you'll need a larger case if you carry it on the go. Also, the battery seems to last a very long time. I highly recommend it!

I used to think that Apple was more for looks than functionality. I slowly started switching over with the iPhone, then a MacBook Pro, now all I use is Apple. This keyboard is amazing. I have had it for about two months and have not found a single reason to complain. It is intuitive and connects so easily to my computer. It is wireless and I can move around freely around my desk area. I have a sit to stand desk and don’t have to worry about cables. For me this is one of the most important prices in my home office.

Lightweight, full keyboard, switch to converse battery life, easy Bluetooth connection, lightening port to charge keyboard, beautiful, another great addition to add to any Apply product or iPad.

I had another wireless keyboard from Amazon which was working fine earlier but gave some lag issues later on. This Apple magic keyboard is great as it does not consume much power and lasts for long time once charged fully.
I liked it so far as I work from home and have been using it for my office work and professional use.
