It’s a shame Apple makes you buy this adapter, because I would imagine most people have headphones with the 3.5mm connector. But it is what it is. This adapter works great, headphones sound good, the adapter is very sturdy and compact. At least Apple made a quality product. I should add that I only use this adapter to connect my headphones to my Apple IPad Pro which I bought two months ago.
