This adapter was a life saver for me. I have a lot of USB-C external devices and each one connected flawlessly. The short length is just right for my needs. Highly recommended. Apply quality.

Nice quality product. Necessary, and not overpriced. Many devices still require a USB input, while my MacBook Pro M2 has a USB-C port. I used this to connect a video capture device to my Mac and it worked well.

I purchased a new Macbook Pro and, the great news is, it comes with 4 USB ports! However Apple, in its usual style, changed the connection from the standard USB to USB c - so none of my flash drives would connect. This adapter is a lifesaver for those of us who need to connect old flash drives / external back ups to the new Macbook Pro! I spent the extra money and bought the Apple adapter with the USB port as i knew this would increase the likelihood that it would work 'trouble free' . . . . And, so far, this has worked flawlessly and I have had no issues using it. If you are in the same situation as i am, and need an adapter to use USB products, this is the perfect solution!

Apple branded no issues and reliable. I would say spend the extra money compared to a cheap alternative as my experience with cheaper alternatives has not been so great sometimes less expensive ones go out or wear out quickly.

Functional, compact, and necessary as we can connect our printer or CD player to our iMac.

With the new MacBook’s not coming with the proper adapters to use the USB ports it was nice to have this to convert over two USB jacks good product thanks

Perfect cable, rapid connection, easy to use , and perfect for trips!

Solid adapter, does the job, perfect for laptop charging GPS watch, wireless headphones etc.

My Apple decided not to put a USB 3.0 on the MacBook Air, I don't know, so an adapter is necessary. This works well for my needs. Now I can plug in a thumb drive, computer, other peripheral or a USB Hub and plug them all in at the same time. Has worked perfectly for my current needs, although I am looking at some different for when I travel for photography.

The Apple USB-C to USB adapter is an essential accessory for modern devices. Its sleek design, robust build quality, and seamless compatibility make it a reliable choice for anyone needing to connect USB-A peripherals. Apple's attention to detail and performance ensures a hassle-free experience, making this adapter a must-have for your tech arsenal.

Although this adapter may appear quite expensive, the utility it offers in terms of a cabled USB-A port from your USB-C device cannot be overlooked, as the cable allows you to put less stress on your USB-C ports unlike other adapters. This means that your device will not hang off the port, creating stress and potential damage. Better to replace a $20 adapter than a $2500 laptop.

Works as expected, arrived in a timely manner. I needed a second cord to transfer photos to external hard drive.

There isn't much to say about these - they're basic converters by Apple and as such have the "Apple tax" attached to them. They work well and I have found Apple branded cables and converters to hold up better for the most part than the cheaper off-name branded items. Another way to go is to get a hub that will allow you to connect multiple types of cables too. I have one that does HDMI, USB-A, and USB-C. However sometimes you need to plug something directly into the laptop. These work.

I love this little device but hate that I need it! I have so many standard usb accessories that I couldn’t use on my new MacBook Pro since it only has usb type c ports. This one device lets me use my usb devices easily and is durable enough to last for years to come. It would be nice if apple included one of these in each MacBook purchase as they are well aware you will more than likely need it often.

The Apple USB-C to USB Adapter is an essential and functional accessory. It allows you to connect your USB-A devices to a Mac or iPad with a USB-C port. The adapter is small and lightweight, making it easy to carry with you on the go. The build quality is good and feels sturdy, but it is a bit pricey for what it is.

Apple - USB-C-to-USB Adapter - White. I bought this to connect my computer to my phone. This adapter enables me to 'backup' photos, music. I prefer Apple products to 3rd party for peace of mind with quality. Works exactly as expected. Great product. I would highly recommend to everyone.

Easy to use, quality apple product. Works great with the MacBook Pro! No complaints!

A huge help with connectivity when i have multiple screens and ports already in use.

Work’s beautiful. It adapts anything with an output usb port. It never disconnects and kind of locks so it doesn't fall out or anything. It’s sturdy and well put together. For $20 Id say its worth it. I would buy 6 of them if I could!

These always work well. I use these adaptors in the car and for older jump/external hard drives. This is my 3rd adapter and they all still work. I bought this one to get direct sound from my mackie interface to my iphone. Buy with confidence!
