Assassin’s Creed Mirage on PS5 is a fantastic return to the series’ roots, focusing on stealth, parkour, and immersive storytelling. The richly detailed recreation of 9th-century Baghdad is breathtaking, with stunning visuals that truly shine on the PS5. Gameplay feels smooth and responsive, with fast loading times and fluid combat mechanics. The narrative is compelling, offering a perfect mix of intrigue and character development that keeps you invested. Fans of classic Assassin’s Creed will appreciate the refined mechanics and nostalgic feel, making Mirage a must-play for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.

The game was better than I thought especially based on the reviews I enjoyed the game and beat it. Controls alittle clunky but not too bad where it ruined the experience

This is very similar in gameplay to AC Origins, but not as user friendly. The map isn't as helpful, nor the tracking from your bird. Don't even get me started on fighting. You can't just smash buttons (like I prefer, lol). You really have to time your parries and attacks. Can't just hold the "block" button. I'm not overly far into the game, but I do like quite a few aspects of it. Pickpocketing is rather entertaining. Having a "notoriety" meter that you can lower by paying a merchant or ripping down wanted posters gave this game an interesting twist. Another downside is the merchants. You literally have a conversation each and every time you want to purchase something. You can quickly tap the cancel button to get through the conversation, but it's annoying to do every single time. You also have to find schematics for upgrading your weapons. So far, I'm liking Origins a lot better.

Finally a return to what made AC great, while retaining some of the improvements that have given the games some added challenge. Story is a bit light but it’s not as massive a map as in the past, so it’s a good focused AC entry.

Not going to lie, I hesitated on buying the newest installment of Assassin’s Creed. Last game I purchased from the franchise was Unity. After seeing mixed reviews of Mirage, I had to take a chance and try it out. I’ve only put about 10 hours of gameplay and so far I am impressed. Classic assassin stealth with a straight forward story mode. Combat is a bit wonky in my opinion, but hopefully Ubisoft can give the game an update. Overall, 10 out of 10. Take a “Leap of Faith” and give the game a try.

Much better than previous few titles, not a convoluted mess of 47 square miles of map. More like a classic AC game prior to the big change with Origins.

There were mixed reviews about this game. I have played the previous games. This is a different game but very similar to the first and second AC games. But this one is fun to play if you like stealth games with some added surprise elements.

Overall a good game. Felt like the movement was a little choppy at times. Story was pretty good. Map was definitely not crazy, the city felt repetitive at times and the wilderness was not that cool. A big portion of the map was pretty empty, the only reason to go to the outskirts, was to collect the collectibles to receive the platinum trophy. Game in my opinion didnt feel like it was 100% complete.

I’m not quite sure how I feel about this one. As an Assassin’s Creed fan, I was expecting something closer to AC Odyssey but this definitely isn’t that. So if you’re hoping for a story or experience similar to Odyssey, you might want to skip it. However, if this is your first time diving into the franchise, this could be a great starting point. It’s fast-paced, visually stunning, and runs smoothly on my PS5.

I got this game on sale for 34.99 and definitely worth every penny!!! Another awesome game in the Assassin Creed series!! Definitely a great game!! I platinumed this game and played the whole thing basically straight through in a couple days, most games I play for a while and then come back to it after a little while but this one had me stuck on it and determined to finish. This game has it all good story, good graphics, good everything, nothing feels repetitive!! I definitely recommend this title you will not be disappointed!

Short, sweet, pretty focused story. The game play was much better than previous games like Odyssey and Valhalla. Being back in the middle east felt like revisiting AC1 at times in the best way possible.

This game feels like a return to roots vs the massive scale of other Assassin's Creed games. I thought the story was engaging and fun and the gameplay was some of the best of any AC I've played lately. Missing one star only for the ease of completion and lack of replayability once you beat it. Sure there are collectibles to find but once all achievements and collectibles are found there's nothing pulling you back in. Great game for the price!

As a long time Assassin’s Creed fan. Its great to see a game that is about the assassins again and more focused on stealth. The setting is fantastic and immersive. There is plenty to do but without feeling like the game is overwhelming or bloated. The combat is challenging and forces you to utilize all your tools. I took one star off because the parkour mechanics feel clunky. Overall, I’m enjoying this and excited to for what’s next in this franchise.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is a return to form for the series. It actually feels like a stealth game and not an action RPG. Basim is a good protagonist and the story is pretty good. Hopefully the Assassin's Creed franchise will stay on this path.
