Lemon
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer has given me problems since day one. I kept trying to look past the problems. I use it daily for Quickbooks business so was to busy working to return it before the 15 day return. Well basically threw $800 down the drain. Took it to Best Buy. They couldn't help because I didn't buy their Warrenty. Sad they even said it was trash. Nothing they could do to help. The computer freezes, screen flickers off and on and so on. Worst purchase I've ever made. Not to mention. The charger heats up so hot it burns your hands. I called Asus CC direct and they tell me that the charger isn't even in stock anywhere but Canada and I would have to pay over $100 to get it shipped here. What company doesn't even have a charger in stock? Never will I buy a non Apple Product. I am so upset with Best Buy and Asus customer care I refuse to buy anything from either company. Now I have to purchase a whole new computer and I won't be doing it at Best Buy after this experience. The least the could have done was exchange my devise for one that worked.

Stopped working after 3 weeks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It functioned great for the first three weeks and had everything I could have asked for. However, it stopped turning on after just 3 weeks, leaving me without a laptop on my business trip. Very disappointing.

RUN AWAY!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is horrible I've had it for less than a month and I already have to send it in. From the beginning it was slow to respond. Updating is a nightmare display drivers stopped working, Windows won't even update it's been trying for over a week. Now I couldn't get on the Internet even hooked up by cable it was dropping. I finally tried to do a reset boy was that a mistake. It ran into an error during the reset now it's stuck in a power loop. Run no matter how great the sales person says it is run.

Fails to install Office 2007 and Office 2010
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I took my first one back because I was getting error 1935 when trying to install MS Office 2010 Professional Plus. After researching this error, it appears to be a problem with the ".Net Framework". Microsoft recommends uninstalling the OS and reinstalling. So I exchanged this machine for the same model, assuming the problem was with the particular device I had purchased. After many more hours attempting to resolve this and even trying to install an older version of Office, the installation still fails. So I can't use this for word processing, etc. without purchasing an annual license for Office 365 from MS. I'm not gonna do it. This baby is going back to the store.

A dud
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I was looking to purchase this laptop, I read the good and bad reviews but I was drawn in by the clearance price ($230 off). After buying the laptop, I understand why. Not even a day in it started running slow, freezing up on me, and downright crashing so I had to do a hard reboot. The bluetooth didn't even work, and the touch screen was either too sensitive or not responsive at all. I loved the idea of a 2 in 1, so this laptop was nothing more than a trial run of the type of laptop I'm looking for. I returned it not even two days later.

Initially was excited! Very, VERY disappointed!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was really looking forward to getting an updated ASUS laptop. Spent a few hundred more dollars than I did last time, but I loved my laptop. Just time to get a new one so the kid could have a good computer for school. BUT! The spacebar key only works if you pound it. No good. I don't have large thumbs where it should make a difference at all. Had it for an hour, and it is going back as soon as I am able to return it.

What a lemon, nothing but regrets
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this based on reviews and experience with Asus in the past. This thing has been total garbage since we brought it home. Numerous (to many to count) blue screen errors and WIn 10 lockups and hard freezes. Intermittent wi-fi that continuously drops signal. Power settings that are simply ignored. Just been totally frustrated with this thing. Have another Geek Squad appointment tomorrow. After eight months, all I want is to see if I can get a partial refund and get something that actually runs.

Lousy laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Constantly updating. Takes FOREVER to boot up and power switch is toward front left which is in a ridiculous place as I am constantly bumping it and powering off accidently. Poor excuse for a 2 in 1
