I love this screen, I use it in a multipurpose environment ranging from games, to Netflix, to picture editing, it performs phenomenally. Like any other screen the settings needed a good tweaking before picture quality was to my liking, but as long as your good with playing with the setting I'm confident anyone could get the picture they're looking for. Also, the speakers built in are usable, but for anything other than close personal use I would get a set of full range speakers. I haven't tried the built in camera yet, but I use a separate HD cam so I probably won't ever use it. I'm sure the quality is acceptable for a built in cam though. For the month I've had it, I love it. Does everything I need it to.

This is a great monitor for the price... it's relatively large with a nice picture and pretty good built-in speakers. Everything I expected.

Was a bit leery after reading reviews and checking complaints on line. I ordered anyway. 1st one had "the frozen arm" on back of monitor that others had complained about. I sent it back. 2nd one was perfect! Size is great, had no problems with picture adjustments. Primary use is for home office.

This screen was a perfect match for my 27" iMac. I find the picture bright and clear and the text is sharp wirth little or no jaggies.

Easy to install. Works for my purposes (word processing, internet browsing).

I purchased an on-line magazine subscription service recently, and I found that I was having a lot of difficulty reading the magazine pages on my then current monitor.. The screen was not bright enough, and I was unable to adjust the resolution in order to "unfuzz" the copy I was attempting to read. I am very happy with this new Asus monitor. It is larger than my previous monitor, and is much brighter. The resolution has been set so that it is very easy to read magazine copy without straining my eyes and squinting.

It works well to display multiple screens. Good reaction time.

There isn't anything to dislike about this monitor. It's size is excellent. And the quality of the picture is amazing.

good monitor for price - great picture - happy with purchase

I missed having a widescreen when I switched to a laptop computer. This monitor solved the issue at a very reasonable price. Let,s hope it lives up to the reviews I read before purchase. So far I am very satisfied.

Awesome monitor. Yes it's big but the clarity is worth it.

I recently sold my 30" 2560x1600 LCD because it was too large to travel with me on my last move. (Moving between countries via commercial airlines has it's limitations.) Not being willing to spend well in excess of $1,000 to replace it, I opted for a much lower resolution 1080p display in the 23"-24" range and was looking for one when I found this 27". The resolution still seems limiting for computer work, but it's still great, and of course it works perfectly for watching HD TV, movies, and gaming. Response time is great, black levels are perfectly fine for this type of a panel (I sold my 50" Panasonic plasma as well, so I do know about good black levels), and the text is good enough though a bit chunky simply due to the panel size versus resolution ... a 27" running only 1920x1080 is not going to be as sharp as a 30" panel, but it's not really all that bad. The only things lacking are a USB hub, OS X driver support for the web camera, the speakers are about what you'd expect, and the stand is a bit flimsy. Other than that, and again, especially considering the price, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Already had an Asus 26" LCD display with a 16:10 ratio and needed to run two monitors for a new job. My previous Asus had been discontinued so I went with this 27" 16:9 ratio monitor and I'm as pleased with this one as much as my first one. Wish they still made a display with the taller 16:10 ratio but that's a small nitpick. I use this monitor via DVI from my work laptop and via HDMI from my personal laptop and both work equally well.

I bought this because my old monitor got damaged during a move. Not only was this monitor cheaper than replacing the old one, it was better. Normally I would complain about having to replace a damaged monitor, but this time it honestly came out ok.

I did not want to have two monitors and wanted a single 27" monitor. I have an Asus laptop, so I know the brand is quality and I find that this HD monitor is just the same. It has an integrated 2 MP webcam as well. Very nice unit.
