A very knowledgeable salesperson at Best Buy helped me pick out the perfect laptop for my needs. I wanted something lightweight for travel, with a good sized memory for a photography editing program and sufficient storage space. I am very satisfied with what I got!

I bought the Q324UA for the specifications (i7, 16GB ram, 512SSD) and the price. While the spec and price are great, I am frustrated with the no response web pages on this computer. I checked at the same time on another computer i5, 4GB and also mobile phone. The same web page loads without any problem but no response on the Q324 The battery is also annoying with a weird noise as if something cooking. Inspite of my liking to this computer, I am disappointed. The geek squad agent confirmed the weird battery noise and the slow web page loading or no response.

A very handy 2-in-1 laptop. The hinge is really good and hope it lasts longer. With the Harman Kardon speakrs the sound is not that great. Rest everything is fine except for the exhaust noise.

This is a nice computer. It is thin and light. It is fast. It is a touchscreen and can be flipped into several different positions. It has large touch pad with an embedded fingerprint scanner. It has the appropriate amount of ports. I can come up with 3 minor complaints. 1) Being black in color, it shows fingerprints very easily...this requires frequent cleaning with a microfiber cloth. 2) The Volume button works counterintuitively...in my opinion the "+" should be where the "-" is. 3) The fan runs waaaaaay too much. This, to me, is annoying and if I knew I could get a different laptop that did not do this, I would. Overall, I am thus far pleased with this computer.

The SSD keeps everything running quickly and keyboard feels good to use. Some other reviews have lamented the chassis as too slippery but I did not find that to be an issue. It can glare a bit much but that's to be expected with this kind of screen.

    Nice Hardware - Terrible Windows

I bought this laptop to for Grad School. I allowed myself to be talked into it by the sales staff because the hardware is so nice. It has a beautiful screen, flips over into a tablet and works well. I should let it be known that I've been a Mac user for my personal computers since my sophomore year of college in 1992, but I use a Windows 7 OS at work with little problem. Let's just say that I do not like Windows 10 and leave it at that being the sole reason I returned this computer and bought a MacBook Pro instead.

Bought this ASUS open box after reading reviews, I am extremely happy with the quality and performance. The price was great and significantly lower than comparable laptops. This was a great buy!! So far I am a fan ASUS computers.

Great device for my mobile workforce, they are able to carry this with ease wherever they go. The flip screen comes in very handy while presenting to our audience in tight and compact spaces, such as sitting at the lunch table!

I was looking for a second laptop (after my work laptop) - so I just need it for light home usage and occasionally take it with me for trips. Here are my pros and cons. PROs (what i like): 1. Size and weight - it is perfectly sized laptop. It's not superlight ( > 1 kg), but it's not heavy. You won't be able to hold it like a tablet with one hand, but it's very ease to use it on the couch and watch movies. Screen bezel is also not too thin and this is good for tablet mode. 2. 2-in-1 mode. I specifically looked for 2in1 or surface pro style laptop - to try how will this work out in my day to day usage. I do not expect to use it as a tablet very often but it's good to have this opportunity without sacrificing anything else. Touch screen also a good addition (it is less responsive than ipad though). 2. Hinge. It feels very sturdy. Does not wobble a lot (as lenovo and hp do). Hope it will also last long 3. Performance & specs. I was looking for a decent specs laptop which can also be future proof as i intend to use it for 3-4 years at least. This one has latest gen top of the line i7 (u series) processor, 16 gigs of ram and 512 ssd (it's not the fastest pcie ssd, but it's fast enough). 4. Touchpad - Touchpad - it's precision touchpad so it has all windows 10 gestures support. 5. Battery life is simply outstanding. It's around 10 hours in my light usage - so i charge the laptop once in several days. 6. Ports. It has all the necessary ports (even full size hdmi and sd card reader). And a fingerprint reader (I hope web sites will use it for payments one day) It also has usb-c - so it's kind of future proof (although it's not thunderbolt 3 and does not support charging laptop through it). CONs. (I've read a lot of reviews before the purchase and most of critical reviews appeared to be truth.) 1. Fingerprint magnet - First thing you'll notice is that, it is indeed a fingerprint magnet. Whole laptop is black and glossy. It's not covered with any oleophobic coating (even touch screen). The problem is that there are no options for any kind of skins or cases for q324/ux360ua 2. Glossy screen - Screen is glossy so it would be had using it outside. Amazon has matte screen protectors so you're going to need that. 3. Fan This is one of my major problems. I'm concerned about fan noise. Out of the box it's almost always on and the noise is on the higher frequencies - i don't know if it's normal or a defective fan. It's hard to check in the store. Solution - there's an app called notebook fan control (google it and use ux360ua profile) - it works perfectly and totally solve the problem - unless you play games. My fan almost never kicks off. Asus should pay the developer for fixing their problem :) There are also fan replacement parts on the ebay 4. Hard to open lid - This looks like a major design flaw. Although, hinge lets you to open the lid with one hand (like macboos d) There are no place for easy grab the lid to open - so you almost always have to do it with two hands. 5. Camera - Camera is just really-really bad. It's impossible to fix via software, so If it is important for you - it is a deal breaker. 6. Minor problems. - power button. is on the side and from time to time you can push it accidentally - it's better to disable it in windows. - Speakers. Speakers sound pretty good but the maximum volume is low and when you turn the volume to 100% they some time cracks. (not sure if it's hardware or drivers) - Pen support. I haven't found any mentions on pen support - so i assume touchscreen does not have digitizer to support pens (except capacitive). Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase - it is a good value for the money. If you care about available ports and laptop size combination - there are almost no options to choose from.

I never really liked Asus before, but this computer worked well. Plenty of new features and worked quickly. Didn’t last long, however. I’d probably skip it in the future, but the choice is yours.

I previously purchased an HP laptop, which was nice, but bigger and heavier. Then I saw this 'Opened-Box' Asus laptop in 'Excellent Condition'. Nearly 200 dollars off of the brand new price. I immediately went back to Best Buy, and they were friendly in making the exchange and ordering the Asus laptop (shipped to my front door in a few short days) with free shipping. This machine is wonderful. It's so fast, typing is easy, battery lasts forever, speakers sound good---very powerful for a laptop. It is lightweight, low profile, touchscreen is great, buttons are easy to use, has real buttons on the mouse pad left and right and a large mousepad. Amazing they got all this into a 13.3" computer. Perfect for the mobility I require of it. Very happy satisfied customer! =))

I needed a laptop that was light and easy to carry in my bag. The fingerprint security and backlit keyboard are a huge plus! Great price and great value. My other laptop is also an ASUS and 7 years later it still runs well.

I have had this laptop for 2 days now and it works just fine, but there are some design issues that are really bothering me... Pros- Fast and efficient Fingerprint Login is Super Fast Slim Build Great Price Cons- The fan is VERY loud, this bothers me so much I might return it. Laptop is super slick and hard to hold on to. The power button is to close to the volume and I have accidentally shut down my computer several times. The touchpad is too sensitive and difficult to use (can be solved by getting a mouse). The resolution is a bit poor. It is hard to open this laptop. Overall, I would recommend this to a laid back friend, who is not overly picky about minor details. This is a very nice laptop, but if you are a perfectionist, spend the extra money and go for something more well built.

a little less expensive than the hp or lenove with more ram and a bigger hard drive, the only thing missing is the solid metal case and the fancy hinge. the case on this unit is a good solid plastic like most laptops and the hinges are rugged as well. works great no issues in 2 months of every day use and 8 solid hours of battery

Very fast using Windows10 Pro (but had to buy Pro) Like having two USB3's, HDMI, and one USB-C for non obsolescence. Bright display and responsive touchpad. Keyboard is nice and responsive.
