i’ve had this laptop for 2 almost 3 years now and it’s still going strong! I purchased it so that I would have a good laptop for school but also use as a laptop for my daughter. It’s quick and gets the job done. I also have Origin downloaded and can run games on it smoothly. Well worth the price even though the price tag is a little scary!

I bought this on sale and it performs great for exactly what I need it for. Mostly for gaming and browsing but the sound system and external speaker that came with it makes it great for playing music.

So far so good. Appears fast. Lots of great functions now if I could figure out how all this technology works. Wished there was a hard copy manual with the computer. Call me old school. Cortana doesn't seem to understand a word I say. Lots of fingerprints. Wished it wasn't so apparent.

The Asus Q524UQ is perfect for me

I was looking for a basic laptop when the store manager pointed this open box laptop out to me and I got more than I expected for a great price. I have absolutely enjoyed the external subwoofer for that added punch when listening to music (which I do often). The Nvidia graphics card allows me to game with my son. The touchscreen is convenient and I find myself touching my work laptop screen (not touchscreen) and being disappointed. This laptop is perfect for me.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my new Asus! High performance, fast, and not overloaded with preloaded bloatware. Two items that kept it form 5 stars were the keyboard and numeric pad. The keyboard bends a bit too much for me and the numeric keypad is small. All in all, great product

Either add an M.2 drive by cloning the original and use the original for photos and music or, as I did, add an M.2 and a SATA SSD and toss the slow 2T drive. M.2 is faster than SATA SSD, costs the same and easily plugs in, so no real reason to just replace the 2T with SSD.

It's a great 2-in-1 laptop with top end configuration. Everything works great and the metallic finish of the laptop makes it really appealing and high-end laptop. Only problem I have is the touchscreen on the laptop which is sometimes slow on response.

Well on paper the machine is a power house. Great specs and speed. It's the little things that makes this machine not perfect by no means. First the numeric pad, the 0 is too small, instead of being the usual size of a zero. The keyboard is bit weird feeling but I'm used to it now and really enjoy it. The screen's brightness, it's just a duller brightness to the overall look of the images, maybe I'm just used to full vivid screens. It's 1080P but the overall color tone is not vibrant. The battery is meh, 4 hours of nonstop use. I love the feel of the laptop, but it leaves finger marks. Oh and Chrome, keeps freezing on this machine!!!!!!! Drives me nuts! Overall a powerful machine with a ton of little letdowns.

The Asus computer has plenty of memory ease of use, facial recognition security and has external speaker and is a joy to use. Fast downloads and easy to categorize apps and programs included. I am replacing an HP and prior to that I had a Toshiba. This combines the beauty of the Toshiba with better durability. Mu HP kept falling apart, I love the matte black finish which is comfortable to handle and not easy to slip out of your grasp.

Bought this for my daughter for high school. Although it is not to far into the year, she seems to be much happier and having less problems with it then she did last year with the school issued computer! Hopefully it will continue to meet all her needs!

Geek squad very helpful in setting up laptop. Great screen resolution and fast response. Keyboard very responsive. There is a learning curve on Windows 10. Think Best Buy could offer a tutorial on it. Arrangement of keyboard features took getting used to.

While shopping in-store, a salesman approached me and asked what I was looking for. I had done some prior research before entering the store and I specifically wanted to stick with the ASUS brand. He recommended me this model because it will last me for uses even after college. I'm a Civil Engineering major about to graduate and this computer has already proven itself to be very fast with a big hard drive for my CADD work. The screen is very bright and has amazing picture quality. The only negative I have is the battery life with all these great and powerful features. I tend to keep my brightness low when I have my laptop unplugged to conserve battery life along with the battery saver option turned on and tasks as simple as surfing the internet and writing a paper will drain the battery to 50% in about 2-3 hours, which isn't all too bad, but quicker than most.
