It gave me a bit of problems in the beginning when trying to run this with my cpu and especially my ram. It still cant run my ram at full capacity (6000mhz) but it runs regardless.

I’ve been running the ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI in a high-performance, dual-boot environment for AI development and gaming, and this board has absolutely delivered. Paired with an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, an RTX 3090, and a 7800XT, it’s currently in workstation/gaming hybrid that handles everything from deep learning model training to 4K AAA gaming.

So I initially purchased the MSI B650 available at the local BB. But I was having all kinds of issues with posting when EXPO was enabled and even when disabled it would take 2 some minutes to post and every other time it would not post still. Anyways bought this one as a replacement because it was available for delivery the next day. From the first post the system has been rock solid since switching to this board. I got a 7800x3d with 32gb of corsair ddr5 6000. Running expo tweaked profiled, pbo enabled, curve set to minus 30 on all cores. Two nvme 2tb drives and sadly a 3070 gpu. So far in the last two days of bench marking and test the system it has survived with flying colors.

One of the best to grab locally if you don’t mind the extra $10-$20 versus buying one on new egg from asrock. Great support from the store if you need to exchange in case you get a dead CPU/Mobo like I did with another brand. But this is the best overall! Gen 5 PCI-E x16 slot with Gen 5 m.2 drives support all the way down to Gen 3! Great buy

Needs bios update & don't connect Ethernet & WiFi

After finding out it won't connect via Ethernet when WiFi 6e is connected, this motherboard was working solid. It took hours of fiddling around though, probably due to my fault, so here's the condensed version: update chipset from amd or Asus' s site, then update the bios before concluding there's something wrong with it. I had one bsod on startup, and a bunch of little problems, like I couldn't connect to the internet when installing windows. It was just minor problems. Overall solid board, and I like the fan tuning in bios or asus armoury. Oh yea, $300 is kind of steep compared to what I've seen lately. You can get similar features from ASRock for like $240 but in white. I went with this due to cousin's request for his build.

The ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI is an excellent motherboard for anyone building a powerful AMD setup. It offers great performance, solid build quality, and a sleek design. After a couple months of use I had a slight instability issue and would have to clear Cmos to get it to boot but updated the bios and have not had the issue since. My biggest complaint was the slow boot time but if you change the Memory Context Restore setting in the Bios, the boot time will go from about 2 minutes to 10 seconds.

I recently purchased the ROG STRIX B650E-F motherboard from Best Buy, and I couldn't be more impressed with its performance and features. This motherboard offers fantastic build quality and a sleek, modern design that blends well with any high-end gaming setup. The standout feature for me is its support for PCIe 5.0, which is a great future-proofing option for upcoming GPUs and high-speed storage devices. The power delivery system is robust, making it a solid choice for overclocking and demanding tasks. Whether you're gaming, streaming, or doing intensive workloads, this board has no trouble keeping up. Connectivity is top-notch as well. With Wi-Fi 6E, 2.5Gb Ethernet, and plenty of USB ports, I never have to worry about lag or slow speeds. The onboard RGB lighting adds a touch of flair, and the customization options are a nice bonus. I also found the BIOS interface to be very intuitive, making it easy to tweak settings, monitor performance, and push the system to its limits. Plus, the build quality feels premium, with solid capacitors and a well-designed heatsink to ensure optimal thermal performance. If you're building a gaming or performance-oriented PC, the ROG STRIX B650E-F is definitely a motherboard worth considering. It's packed with features, offers great reliability, and offers fantastic value for the price. Highly recommend!

Thanks to the Bios reviews on here I already prepared a flash drive with the newest Bios before the Motherboard came. I got the Bios updated after the setup was done. I have not had any issues since, it runs great, looks great, and is very well-designed. Overall I would recommend this Motherboard, as long as you can get past these issues mentioned, then after they sort that out should be no issue

Great board for am4, had it paired with a 5950x, rtx 4080ti, and 64gb ddr 4000 and it worked flawlessly. Added bonus, is the ease of the bios and the aesthetics but it is not a good investment at this point move to am5 of intel 14th gen

I would have probably rated it five stars if it weren't for problems associated with the internet. As I booted up the PC, it denied any possibility of a wireless internet connection requiring a connection via ethernet. The quick fix is to download the LAN driver from the ASUS website (specific for each mobo) and put the download on a USB drive so that it can be transferred to the PC for it to work. This problem of course caused significantly slow download speeds, but overall solid board.
