Works very well for the price. I can stream games well with it on my HD60 S right from my PS4 through OBS. I haven’t played any games directly from the Laptop but I recommend upgrading the ram if you plan on streaming and playing on the laptop it’s self. Also get a cooling fan to help keep your device from putting off to much heat when playing at high frame rates (helps your computer last longer). Laptop only comes with 3 USB ports. If want more USB ports to plug up devices find a Type-C Hub. I found a 4 port Type-C HUB 2.0 usb at “5 Below” to plug up my low power cooling fan and mouse. Computer can not take CDs or Micro SDs. You have to plug your device in to transfer files or use cloud software. Overall a great computer for all your content creation needs!

This is an awesome laptop! Great for future upgrades too, you can upgrade the RAM to 32GB and there is 3 m.2 SSD slots. Kinda crazy! The display is great, bright, typing is pretty awesome with the keyboard. Performance wise, I don't game too much, and this laptop hasn't stuttered at all. My one complaint is the speaker - just wish it was louder. Other than that, it doesn't have a webcam (not a big deal for me, since laptop ones suck anyways).

Very fast shipping! The laptop came well packaged and protected. Pretty quick battery charge(took about an hour for full charge). The track pad and keys are both very smooth and easy to type with. Over all very please with the purchase

I’ve been using the ASUS ROG Strix laptop for a few years now, and overall, it's been a solid experience, but there are a few things I wish were better. First, the performance is good for gaming and heavy tasks, but it can feel a bit slow at times. I’ve noticed some glitches, especially when running multiple applications or when the system is under load. It’s not a deal-breaker, but I was hoping for smoother performance given the specs. The display is another area that could be improved. The screen is matte, which helps reduce glare, but the color accuracy isn’t great. It’s definitely not as vibrant or accurate as the displays on a MacBook or other high-end laptops. I find that the colors look a bit washed out, which is a bit disappointing when editing photos or watching media. That said, the build quality is excellent. The laptop feels sturdy and premium, and the keyboard and trackpad are comfortable to use. The RGB lighting is a nice touch, adding a bit of flair to the design. Overall, it’s a good laptop, but it’s not perfect. I’d love to see improved speed and better color accuracy in future models.

This isn't a heavy-duty gaming laptop. Get that in your head from the start, but it is WELL worth every penny spent. This is a low-priced option for what it is. I have had really no issues at all with it. It's fast, handles games very well, keeps itself cool easily, and looks great doing it! A few small details you should know going in, if you are picky about details: The keyboard is RGB and highly customizeable, but it's ONE-zone. I did buy this under the assumption it was per-key thanks to the Asus site making it sound that way. It was the one and only disappointment in this, and it's such a minor detail, considering the bottom strip has 5 zones to customize with the keyboard(one for each side, two for the front side, and one for each corner). Another thing to note that's worth mentioning is that the mousepad is a little flighty. I am happy to get used to it, and it only took me a couple days to do so, but if you don't always use a separate mouse, you might want to turn down sensitivity on this one if you're not as good at adjusting. I bought this laptop under the assumption that there was no camera and no mic. However, while there IS no camera, there IS actually a mic. It's not great, but it works well enough. And finally, though I knew this going in, I see a lot of people asking if this has the numpad on the mouse pad. No. It doesn't. There is no numpad on this laptop. If that's a deal-breaker for you, I would still suggest other ROG computers.

Overall it is a great laptop, when in Silent mode it is really quiet and can be used as an everyday computer. The only things I was unsure of were the 8GB RAM and the GTX 1650Ti. I briefly had a laptop with the RTX 2060 so I was worried the GTX might not be enough but I could not tell the difference, granted I only do soft gaming, some Overwatch and some LoL. The RAM was not enough but it is very easy to upgrade and not too expensive. The overall design and build quality surprised me, this feels like a solid laptop and the size is not too small like some modern computers, which allows for good cooling and a quiet machine.

I bought this but returned it the same day for a model with 16Gb of RAM compared to the 8Gb that this one comes with. It is fast and performs awesome

I havent been using it for very long, but I bought it to play World of Warcraft and so far it's been fantastic. I haven't been in dungeons or raids yet, so I dont know what the performance would be like for that but I feel like this would run them just fine. The only bummer was realizing it doesn't have a webcam, but that's an easy fix.

Excellent laptop, fast and exactly what I was looking for. Play games at night and also run 2 small businesses and has plenty of space, easy to use and slim enough to fit in carry on for flights.

I grabbed this laptop on sale online. Its stupid fast. Love the RGB features and it can run any game I've been looking to run (on the go) and thats all I wanted it for. Great machine.

I originally bought this for my son, but even though he picked it out, he didn't like the colors and the glowing keys. So now it's mine, lol and once I got the pink under control, I love it. Probably more of a computer than I need, but it's quick.

the computer works well besides the battery life which is atrocious. Aside from the a few chips on the edges of the laptop it looks pretty good too. I guess I can't complain too much when purchasing an open box.

I picked up this laptop when it was on sale, as an open-box item. Even at full price, I would say this laptop is worth it. It has an amazing GPU for the price, and along with a 144hz refresh rate, it makes it a great gaming laptop for most FPS games. I also do a lot of photo/video editing on it and it works great in those situations as well. Paired with the fact that you can add additional RAM and storage at relative ease, it's a great budget laptop.

My son bought this laptop and loves it. He has not complained once about it. And for him, that’s saying a lot. He complains about everything. Maybe it’s because he bought it with his own money after saving up for a long time. But I think it is because it is a solid computer and has no problem playing all his games. The only thing was we thought the detailing was red but in reality it is a hot pink. He doesn’t mind it being pink though. He said it still looks cool. He has had this computer for a couple of months now and it has been nothing but great for him.

This is an excellent laptop- love the speed, and the video quality rocks! I have no complaints with this at all, except that when I unboxed it the charge was so low that it would not even turn on until I plugged it in for a few minutes. So, I will be keeping an eye on the battery/charging for awhile. But definitely a great purchase!

I have used ASUS laptops for a few years now and really like them a lot. This ROG Strix G15 did not disappoint me. I bought the 8GB version and then upgraded the memory on my own to 32 GBs. The laptop performs very well and has great speed and processing power. I do miss not having a separate keypad for numbers, but that's just a personal preference. My only real issue with this laptop is that I find the speakers to be a little quieter than previous laptops I have owned. I am considering buying a Bluetooth speaker just to boost the sound output. For most normal videos and audio, the built in speakers will work fine in most circumstances. However, for me, I sometimes find them lower than I'd like. All in all this is a great laptop that can be upgraded to amazing with a little effort.

This laptop is really great for the price its at. The LED lights underneath the laptop are really sweet. The display is very colorful and great quality. They make this laptop real easy to use!

Looks great and feel nice, but performance is a little lacking. Battery saving mode really tune down the overall performance. Must play most semi-demanding and higher games at high performance mode which require you to leave the laptop plugged into the charger. Usually not a problem, but was hoping for a more portable and high performance laptop.

I have always been a console player my entire life, so I wanted to see what PC gaming is like. A lot of people told me to build a rig if I wanted the best experience of PC gaming, but I didn’t want to go all in just for it to collect dust, so i wanted to test the waters and went lower so I settled for a gaming laptop. I heard Asus was a pretty good brand, so it was a no brainer. I’m very very new to PC gaming I think the specs is in the intermediate range, it runs good, it plays games like GTA V, Sleeping Dogs, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake and etc. it has the ability to run modern games. Graphically though it runs good maybe on medium high setting but if you want ultra settings with every detail, this laptop is not the way to go. But even though Resident Evil 2 Remake ran better and smoother than both consoles versions just using the “recommended” settings You want to stream, it does not have a camera/webcam, some games can run but it looks sluggish at times for example trying to stream while playing GTAV. But if you just want to play games on PC, this laptop does the job perfectly. I would highly recommend it for any beginners for PC gaming.
