Today I exchanged a 13.3 Dell that I purchased three weeks ago because I just wasn't happy with the performance. I still wanted a portable laptop but that Dell just wasn't powerful enough for what I was trying to do. So after reading about this Asus G14 on the internet and reddit and watching videos on YouTube I knew this is what i was looking for. Laptop is beautiful! No it doesn't look "old" those people who say that probably never knew Gateway computers use to be shipped in boxes that looked like cow spots. This laptop is beautiful. I needed a portable laptop for around the house and to take with me on my business trips now that the world is slowly moving again. While on those trips I needed a laptop that looks professional but also had the hardware to game when I'm back at the hotel room. This laptop fits the bill. Laptop is beautiful and the hardware running it is top notch. Laptop is thin and light and build feels great! Display is beautiful and everything is clear and crisp. The different modes can be accessed via hot key. I currently am typing this review on this laptop with it on Silent mode and it is dead silent. Keyboard feels great and keys and travel are great for me. I am an I.T. Professional by trade since 2009 so a keyboard that feels right is important to me for sure. The glass touch-pad is fancy as well! Pretty sure this is my first glass pad ever. Haven't tried to game on it yet but I'm sure it'll do just great. This laptop looks professional yet has the power to get unprofessional when needed. Lightweight. Solid build. What more can I ask for? I was on the fence about this exchange but I am very glad I did so. Plus I still have 45days to exchange or return it, if i'm not happy but so far this laptop has impressed me more than my UHD Dell 13.3 did by far!!

Flawless. Build quality is top notch, nothing to complain about. If I had to nitpick at all, it's that the CPU gets a tad bit hot, but well within specifications since Zen 3's tend to run hot at around 85c to 90c; even the desktop counterparts are known to hit those temps. Only comparable 14 inch laptop with better specs is the Razer Blade 14, but at that time, you're paying an arm and a leg for higher specs. Try $3K for a 3080 with a marginally better 5900HX.

Bought 9 months ago, still runs ok. Overheats though...alot...due to its thin design, temps run as high as 93C....which is nuts!! You need a coolong paf if you do any heavy gaming. It only has 2 usb ports...thats it. 2 usb c ports, one of the ports supports charging. No ethernet port. Which is bad due to the fact that the wireless mediatek card driver was messing up untill a few months ago where an update finally fixed it. Graphics card is nice, but still the laptop feels underpowered for what the specs claim. Bogs down, frame rate is low on certain games that claim it can run nice. So i dunno. Mixed feelings on it. Buy at your own risk

Very fast. Plays game without any problems. Keys are hard to see if backlight is on and room is lit.

Man this thing is nutty powerful. Make sure you update the bios through the My Asus app that comes on the laptop when you get it. It increased my timespy scores drastically. They went from 7000 to 7800. Gpu boosts much better after update. Most of the reviewers have not done this and they are short selling this laptop short. It is much better than some are giving it credit for.

This is my first gaming laptop and it has been great so far! It is very fast and the graphics are great.

It's actually a really nice laptop and it is really powerful for the price. The biggest downside to this laptop is the fans. They are inadequate to cool the laptop. If you use the laptop to game on high settings, it'll run perfectly fine. That being said, the laptop itself will become a hot plate. The keys get hot and the metal on top becomes untouchable. The fans were extremely loud and the air was barely coming out. For that reason, I returned it. Potentially had faulty fans but decided not to get another one of these due to my best buy not having another in stock and it was just too much of a hazzle to wait on a new one or to get it looked at. That being said, the laptop is really small. With the GPU and CPU that it carries it looks like the vents are way too small to keep this model cool during high performance uses.

good all around laptop - and capable of medium to high gaming. Did get hot under heavy use, recommend a cooler with fan. Did not like the silver backlit keys, the backlight along with key color make backlight just about useless. Be aware, under heavy use such as gaming, do not expect very long battery life

Very fast processor! Usually loads at a snap of a finger! I absolutely love it. It does get pretty warm if it is not propped up slightly to breathe. Sometimes I wish the speakers would be a little louder but otherwise so far for what I am using it for…. I love it!

This laptop is great, but it has one flaw... It gets HOT. The bezel on the screen is plastic, and the vent blows right at it. Some photos have shown this warping the plastic and I do not doubt that. As much as I love this laptop, I would say look for a cooler running laptop. Were talking 95C hot.. otherwise its great!

Battery life lasts forever. Screen is perfect size and it's light enough to take anywhere without a castle.

Good for its time period, has decent video. Newer notebooks available now.

Great product. I am a gamer and a programmer and it is the very best combination.

Not much of a gaming pc expert but someone I know recommended it due to its nice specs for its great price. So far it has been great, it runs Death Stranding very very good and it has been easy to use. 4/5 thou because compared to my older pc it has shown some problem, rarely but its there, where the wifi range is limited and I have to connect to wifi again.
