Customers are impressed with the ROG Zephyrus 14" Gaming Laptop's performance, graphics capabilities, and long battery life. Many appreciate its compact size, portability, and lightweight design, making it ideal for those on the go. However, some users note that the device can get warm and produce noticeable fan noise during use. The lack of a webcam and some concerns about the keyboard backlight are also mentioned.

Better value, cpu, and gpu than Razer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Incredible portable package! R9-5900HS cpu fast and smooth, RTX 3060 paired with the 144hz 1080p screen will play most any game you throw at it! Fan not terribly loud under gaming load, noticeable but you’re probably wearing AirPods or a gaming headset anyways. Battery life decent too, watched a 2 hour movie on a flight and had over 7 hours left. 14” size not too big for travel and not too small for gaming. Can’t get better for the price or components from a similar sized Razer.

Visually Amazing. Good Quality. Not for Gaming!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PRO: This laptop is visually beautiful, lightweight with a full aluminum case, and the screen is nice for being 144Hz and 14". It'll be great for someone on the go that is looking to play some casual gaming. CON: The CPU gets too hot! I checked the temp after playing Halo Infinite for about 30 minutes and it was 106.7 degrees. It's hot enough for the keyboard to be uncomfortable to the touch and don't touch near the vents at the top by the screen for too long because you may get burned. It's NOT an ideal gaming computer if you're looking to make your games visually stunning. I had the game optimized to the NVIDIA graphic specifications (all set LOW). The fans were constantly blowing out the heat, sounding like a dated PS4, which got annoying after some time. I'm sure it's a great computer for something less graphically strenuous, but when you drop $1,500 for a laptop, you hope that it won't burn you. I'm going to return this one and get an ASUS ROG Strix G15 due to its heat dispersion capabilities.

Best laptop in term of cost - what you get
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm amazed at how light and thin this laptop is while sporting an amazing CPU and GPU power. I just wish they gave us a chance to upgrade both of the RAM sticks.

If you like plastic, and light bleed, buy it.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop may have some decent specs, but it is cheaply made. Plastic, and light bleed were the two first things that made me dislike it right off the bat. I wanted to like it, but there was no way. Returned after one week. Where the ports are located, it’s becomes a mess when they are being used together. I found myself getting tangled with the ac cord while typing. The ac port is right in the middle of the left side which causes the issue. I personally didn’t care for the keyboard. I thought about purchasing the QHD G15, but after reading about all the quality control issues, and again, the cheap plastic and light bleed issues, I will be looking at a different brand all together. Just my 2 cents worth. Sorry Asus, this looks and feels like something that would be sold at a flea market.

Great little machine but...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Enjoying it so far. Only complaint I have is when I was hooking it up via Hdmi. 1920x1080 screen maxed out at a 1360x1030 or something along those lines. Same thing happened with my wide screen monitor. Ended up having to buy another cable to connect to them via USB c port. What's the point of having the Hdmi then? Will continue to play around and try to figure out what's causing it

Small but Powerful
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The G14 has good build quality, a nice keyboard, and great speakers for a laptop. The FHD display provides good, color accurate visuals with a 144 Hz refresh rate. In addition, the gaming performance you get from the G14 with such a small form factor is amazing. The G14 even outperforms older gaming desktops. FYI, you can connect to an external display via display port to bypass Optimus for increased FPS. Also, disable the discrete graphics by turning off iGPU mode when on battery power if you want to increase battery life.

Amaizingly power small computer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine is amazing! Just tested it for modeling using Inventor, a gaming EA on some EA Sports games, and it shreds anything you throw its way! On top of that, it is the exact same size of my previous none-gaming laptop. There is no extra thickness you can detect at all, yet exponentially more powerful. The only thing difference you can easily tell, is that this is a much heavier machine; which is to be expected with this much power packed in.
