This is the 3rd purchase where the laptop I bought right outa box doesn't setup correctly. Does the manufacturer put in a single instruction or documentation? Nope. Nada. Zip. No AniMe Matrix or whatever. ROG has one color. And no setup help no help from Asus period tried to call them msg them E-mail and I got circles of info but no go with a single rep. Should be returning it very soon. :(

Amazing one, my son very happy about it. The sales person doesn’t know much about specifications but very friendly and quick response person.

This laptop has great specs, however, the build quality is lacking... Had to open the back up to access the CMOS battery whose connection broke upon removal. I was able to get it to boot back up after disconnecting the CMOS battery, but now I have two connectors that are loose/broken. I did not use much force and have worked on plenty of machines before.

Had this laptop for a bit over a month now. It has handled everything I’ve thrown at it. My only complaint is it does get a bit warm

I am aware that this has 3060 max-Q but did not expect ROG GPU to be running slower than the TUF F15 laptop's 3060 GPU. Laptop runs super hot outside even though the ASUS software shows consistent of 80 degree for CPU and 60 for GPU when I was installing and playing Desperados 3 or Yuzu emulator. Even though I would usually plug this into my monitor but the thermal is not good enough for me

Love it so far, is compact and runs 75 htz while gaming on my 1440p ultrawide. Its great to be able to play any game and easily bring it to classes.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus is an excellent laptop with some extremely powerful hardware that makes gaming on the go an absolute delight. With an (in my opinion) very nice aesthetic appeal that doesn't shout gamer but still manages to look very good. There is no external rainbow unicorn RGB all over the laptop, the only lighting is the keyboard itself and that lighting is actually useful for making it easier to see the keys when you are using it in the dark. Hardware is great, with an excellent 144hz 1080p display the picture quality is great, the RTX 3060 is a pretty powerful laptop GPU and is capable of running most games on very high or high settings depending on the title, and the Ryzen 9 is an extremely capable CPU that is great for productivity and gaming. My only real complaint with the hardware is that it only comes with 16GB of RAM and personally I feel like this is the bare minimum nowadays and I would have liked to have a bit more. The 1TB SSD is amazing and makes startup and loading happen very quickly. This model features a full-size HDMI output, 2 USB C, 2 USB, and a headphone/microphone port. It does not feature an ethernet port, but with WiFi 6 built into this model, I don't feel that it is necessary since it is capable of full Gigabit speeds wirelessly as long as it is paired with a compatible WiFi router. Build-wise I am not impressed with the trackpad, it feels unresponsive and unsatisfying when clicking or navigating with the trackpad. The build of the laptop overall is great, there is little to no flex on the body of the laptop and the display hinge is so smooth that it can easily be opened and closed with one hand. The speakers sound great, for laptop speakers, and provide a very pleasant experience when using them. When using the laptop on battery power it functions very well and maintains power when using it for light tasks. If you are trying to game on battery power it is not going to be a great experience, but I don't think there are any laptops that will work great without power when gaming, there is some very powerful hardware in here and it does require some power to run well. But for instances where you need to unplug and do some work on your laptop, this is more than capable of being unplugged and brought with you anywhere. It is a well-built laptop that is not flashy at all and would look good anywhere you need to use it. Overall this is an excellent laptop and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to game with an option to be portable. With the exception of the trackpad, the build of this is excellent and I really like the look of this laptop.

Purchased this for my son as a graduation gift for college. He needed something fast with a great memory and after much research found this perfect match!

Bought this for my little sister and she uses it all the time to game so I guess it is working great! Haven't heard a complaint.

Great product for the price! Runs Adobe products really well, along with APEX Legends! My only complaint is the fingerprint reader isn't the best.

Son needed a laptop for school. This was the best one I could get for his school requirements. He’s really enjoying the laptop for school.

I question the build quality of this laptop. I may be in the 1% that received a dud, but in less than six months I’ve had to replace a motherboard through warranty and have had an SSD become corrupted. Never in my years of hardware purchases have I had such significant issues with my computers in a short period of time. I had to wait 3 weeks for the first hardware repair (which tech support from BB was great about). Now I’ve a corrupted SSD which is additional delay to my laptop’s return. This is my first Best Buy specific device from ASUS (or any manufacturer for that matter) and at this point I will not purchase a BB only device again. Positive notes: looks great when it runs and performance is great while it turns on. Negative: Cannot confirm ability to turn on for more than 3 months of ownership though.

I bought this laptop around April 2021. And not long after that, I began having issues with it. There were a few instances where, at any given moment, the screen would go black and the keyboard would start lighting in a strobe pattern, which is a normal thing when charging, but not in that case, at normal usage, and while the screen went pitch black. But a hard reset would resolve this issue. However, the thing that annoyed me and worried me the most, was that the laptop would never go to sleep when I closed the lid, and this in turn caused that, whilst unkown to me, the laptop would continue working inside my case, and in turn, inside that case which went inside my backpack. This caused it to heat up tremendously, so that when I took it out of the backpack, it would have become really hot, and hot to the point where it would be uncomfortable to hold it. This problem, became worse with the fact that the laptop, by itself, would simply overheat at any given moment, even while using it for trivial tasks such as when using a word editor. Note that I have never used this computer for gaming, as that was not my primary reason for purchasing it (althought it is marketed as a gaming laptop), and this something that seems very questionable in my opinion when in reality my laptop always worked hard to complete even simple and trivial tasks as I had mentioned. I filed a claim with ASUS and sent it through the Geek Squad to ASUS, since it was still under the manufacturer's warranty. ASUS diagnosed the issue and ended up changing the motherboard. After appartently fixing it they eventually sent it back to me. They took however, if I remember correctly, around a month to return it to me. Period around which I did not have a computer for school, and that in turn, caused its own set of problems. But even then, with the motherboard changed, the laptop diagnosed, checked and updated by ASUS themselves, I still have the same issues as I did before. The laptop overheats for no aparent reason and in turn it runs the fans to the max setting when doing trivial tasks such as browsing the internet. I mean like, really? A 1.5k computer struggles to do that? When even a chromebook could perform the same tasks without gasping for air and overheating to the point where I could almost fry an egg on it. In short, to say that this laptop has been a dissapointment and a headache is an understatement. It is in fact, one of the worst purchases of my life, if not THE worst. And, as it is now outside of warranty, I can't do much with ASUS (not that they really helped, I mean the tried I guess, but it's not their fault that they just can't build quality products) so I am left with one option really, and that is to replace it, as I definitely do not want to have to deal with such digital garbage any longer. This is why I will never buy an ASUS computer ever again. As far as their other products? Well, I hope I won't ever need something from a manufacturer that charges so much for something that not only doesn't work as good as something a quarter of its price, but is in fact worthy of the hall of digital shame. I will in fact, not only NOT recommend this product or brand to others, but I will try to steer them away from it.

Needed this laptop for software for work. It has been great and has done the job needed to perform.

Let me start with mentioning that I use this laptop as a secondary computer after my work laptop for internet browsing and storing family photos with extremely occasional gaming on Windows XBOX app. But even with limited use, this laptop has gone through multiple issues. So far I have reset the wifi driver, bluetooth driver and had to factory reset the laptop for no reason. The laptop constantly overheats for no reason. I would be only browsing, Youtube, checking emails and the fan will be spinning loudly at full speed as if I am playing Call of Duty on full high settings. Do not fall for the high specification of this laptop. This machine highly unreliable.
