First impression. The box was much bigger than I expected. I was confused at first because this is not our first 32 inch monitor, but then I realized that it was because of the curve in the monitor, which requires a noticeably bigger box than for flat panels. 32 inches is a great size; I would say 32 to 34 inches is probably ideal for most situations and for most setups. The monitor is on the heavy side. I love the simple base. It’s super stable, while maintaining open space on my desk for my USB Hub, remote control, etc. The design style is simple, and mostly plastic, but I like that it’s not flashy. Setup. Assembly is easy, essentially putting together the base, the mount, and the monitor. The package includes a small screw driver and four screws. Once you assemble the base and mount, the monitor can safely be hung on the two “tabs” of the mount while you screw the mount tight. Of note, the screws are fairly low quality and were stripping as they got tighter. Performance. This monitor rocks! I played Black Ops 6 over the weekend to test it out because I know the game well. Gameplay is smooth and enjoyable, with no tearing. The image quality is good; it’s full HD only, but well executed with good contrast ratio and HDR. No issues on the dark scenes and it shines on the fastest scenes. Of course, if you are comparing this monitor to more expensive 2K and 4K monitors, you will be able to nitpick, but at FHD and at this price point, it’s a good package. Like most gaming monitors, the settings include a gaming mode and virtual aim points. The curved monitor is more immersive, which I enjoy, but I feel like the viewing angle sweet spot is smaller for the edges of the screen (if I move my head off center and look at the edges, they are a little darker). What I love. - Great price! Lots of value for what you get - 32 inches is the perfect size - 250hz refresh and 0.5 milliseconds response time! - Full HD resolution - HDR for better colors - Extreme Low Motion Blur and Variable Overdrive for a smooth gaming experience - AMD Freesync Premium - 1x Display Port and 2x HDMI ports! - There are integrated speakers! It makes life easy for quick checks and setups. Thank you! - It comes with a Display Port cable! - Nice proportions; it looks thin all the way around - I love the rugged and simple styling; there is no fluff - Pretty good contrast ratio (3500:1); adjust blacks and brightness in the settings to get better results - 3-Year Warranty!! (is that right??) - Easy on the eyes: flicker free and Low blue light - Lots of options in the settings (as you might expect) - Download the DisplayWidget Center, it’s actually great! What I don’t love. - The physical buttons on the back of the monitor are a bit high from the bottom. If you have two monitors side-by-side, it will be hard to reach some of the buttons on the back by just reaching your hand to the back from the bottom of the monitor. Definitely not optimal if you want to make an in-game adjustment. On the other hand, the DisplayWidget Center is great! Install it and you are good. - The monitor does not include an HDMI cable. Not a problem for me because I have quite a few laying around, but making a note for some so they plan ahead if they need an HDMI cable for their setup - I feel that with curve monitors, the viewing angle is narrower. It’s a more immersive experience when looking straight on, but the edges suffer when I am off-center - The stand only tilts forward and back; normal at this price range though Overall, this monitor is great for fast-pace gaming and for your wallet. I think you get quite a lot of value for your money, even at full retail price. It’s a really great option. I highly recommend it.

This Asus Tuf Gaming 32" FHD Curved monitor is fast and responsive with it's 250Hz refresh rate and .5ms response time. I have been loving my gaming sessions with this monitor as it feels like the right size for my viewing needs as I sit about 2 feetaway from my monitor usually. The LED display is quite nice and the 1920 x 1080p resolution works out well for the various FPS, driving, and action games that I've played so far. Asus Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync ensures that there is very little ghosting or motion blur during the fast paced action, and no screen tearing. The wide viewing angle of 178 degrees allows for easy viewing on the VA panel. The curvature of the screen on this monitor makes it feel more immersive in the gaming sense, and also for daily usage activities. The monitor is also covering 120% sRGB for lifelike colors that make the scenes in games feel more vibrant. The adaptive sync technology in the monitor keeps the games looking clear andsmooth without any stutter or tears. HDR10 technology is consistently delivering bright color and vivid lifelike scenes with a very high contrast. I like the anti glare screen as well because sometimes if there are lights turned on in my room I don't worry about them disturbing my gaming monitor and action. This monitor has a wide stable base, and it has a tiltable feature, but no vertical adjustment. The Variable Overdrive technology is a way the monitor will dynamically alter its overdrive setting as frame rate fluctuates to that you get optimal results in the heat of the moment of your game. There are also many other helpful features such as low blue light technology that helps to reduce harmful blue light and the four different settings will allow you to pick the setting that suits your preference. Eye strain on standard monitors is a big challenge for me due to heavy flickering, but the Asus Tuf Gaming monitor is utilizing flicker free technology to help minimize eyestrain for gaming session that last hours or working on a spreadsheet. There are seven available pre set display modes for easy access to adjust the screen settings based on the type of game you're playing, so the lighting and contrast get better based on the general game type. The GamePlus features is an added bonus that offers some in game enhancements to better the experience of the game and allows me to improve my gaming skills with some added features. The Shadow Boost features is perfect to give me a more precise picture of what's happening in darker scenes in the game whether it's a night scene or a dark area in a map. The downloadable Display Widget Center software will allow for easy changes to the monitor settings. In the box you'll get the curved monitor, the power cord, the DP cable, a small screwdriver, 4 screws, base stand, and the quick start guide. I really like the monitor for it's easy to use setup, and the extremely fast response time. This feels like the right size at 32" and the curved monitor makes it feel more personal and immersive. The special gaming features added into this monitor make it a must have for gamers to help assist and make gaming more enjoyable.

A Solid 32 Inch Gaming Monitor That Delivers

I have had this monitor for about a week now, and so far it has been pretty solid. For the price point, this is a really good gaming monitor. It offers a curved 32-inch screen, full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, an earphone jack, and built-in speakers. Inside the box you get the monitor, a stand, a DisplayPort cable, a power cable, and a small screwdriver. The monitor settings include quite a lot of customization. You get overclocking options, variable refresh rates, GameVisual, Shadow Boost, and my favorite feature, GamePlus. GamePlus gives you several useful tools such as multiple crosshair choices, an FPS counter, a stopwatch, and display alignment helpers. It is a nice set of features for anyone who likes to fine tune their setup. The size of the monitor feels perfect for gaming. I think 32 inches is the sweet spot because it fills your field of view without causing eye fatigue the way a large TV can when you are constantly looking from corner to corner. The refresh rate is excellent at 250Hz (60Hz out of the box), and the response time comes in at only 0.5 milliseconds. The monitor includes a lightweight stand with a tilt function. It cannot raise or lower, but it is VESA mount compatible if you want more flexibility. Adaptive sync works well and keeps up with the graphics card with no issues. The buttons on the back make it easy to access gaming settings quickly if you want to make changes on the fly. I do wish the circular knob button was located on the bottom of the monitor since that would make it a little easier to reach. I was also surprised to see built-in speakers, which I feel are becoming more rare in monitors today. They sound good, although I still prefer to wear a headset while gaming. Overall, I am really enjoying this monitor. It gets the job done without the high price tag of a 4K curved display. Games run smoothly and look great, and I have not had a single issue so far. I am a big fan of ASUS gaming products. I have the tower, keyboard, and now this monitor, and they all sync together perfectly with RGB and the Aura Wallpaper through the Armoury Crate app. The entire setup looks clean and unified. ASUS did a great job with this monitor. It is a perfect introductory gaming monitor at this size and spec, and I am glad I picked it up.

Included- Monitor, Display port cable, power cord, L shaped screwdriver Setup- The assembly only took me a few minutes. I just lined up the stand to the back of the monitor and screwed four screws in with the help of the included screwdriver. It was very simple. Then I just attached the display cable and power cable, plugged it in and powered it up. The ASUS - TUF Gaming 32" FHD VA 250Hz 0.5ms Curved Gaming Monitor with FreeSync Premium and HDR is great and has many features. The LED display has a 1920x080 resolution. It offers an Extreme Low Motion Blur technology to help eliminate low latency, blurring and ghosting. It works together with the adaptive sync feature to provide a variable refresh rate. The ASUS monitor offers a refresh rate up to 250Hz. The connectivity options available are great for all of your gaming needs. There’s 2 HDMI and a display port for wide compatibility. With the great specs and the curved design, the ASUS - TUF Gaming 32" FHD VA 250Hz 0.5ms Curved Gaming Monitor with FreeSync Premium and HDR is a monitor built for the avid and serious gamer. The color contrast, lifelike colors, 120% sRGB color gamut delivers vivid colors in HDR. There is also a Shadow Boost that you can turn on or off, which clarifies dark areas to improve your overall viewing. When you’re playing, it feels very immersive and the gaming experience is exceptional. ASUS also offers seven pre-set display modes in the GameVisual technology to enhance your visuals experience depending on your content. I also appreciate the ability to control the amount of blue light emitted with offering four different settings. I am really impressed with the ASUS monitor. I highly recommend it to anyone, casual or serious. It’s a great because it’s so immersive during gameplay or watching movies and videos. It’s really more fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

Good value in a curved HD gaming monitor

The ASUS - TUF Gaming 32" FHD VA 250Hz 0.5ms Curved Gaming Monitor with FreeSync Premium (AMD’s open-source Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) solution) is a good value for both a large monitor and one that is curved. While the monitor is compatible with NVIDIA’s G-SYNC it does not have the hardware necessary to support native G-SYNC. Unless you are hard core gamer you don’t need to go down the rabbit hole of VRR implementation. This monitor has a 250Hz refresh rate and I was able to successfully drive it at 1920x1080 240Hz using both my integrated graphics GPU (AMD Radeon 780M) and my nVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU. The monitor when driven with the right combo of GPU and CPU in a gaming rig produces smooth gameplay. My gaming experience was superior with quick scene changes that would make my 60hz or 30hz monitors scream for mercy. No smearing or mushy transitions with this monitor. Even though the resolution is only HD (1920 x 1080), video playback is clear without any anomalies or artifacts. I was less impressed than I usually am with a TV or monitor with HDR capabilities. I did not think colors or brightness popped as well as standard Rec.709 color space footage did. My OLED monitor, which struggles at times with brightness, had a substantially better picture in HDR mode. In reality this monitor is all about refresh rate and response time, which it delivers on. The form factor and curved screen at this price point is good, although the monitor does not have many physical adjustments (it only tilts up and down) given its size vertical adjustments are not necessary. The monitor is stable on the stand and is easily assembled, although I would have liked better screws than the typical Phillips head screw type attaching the stand to the display panel (which has a standard VESA mount pattern, for use with multiple monitor stands. The default monitor settings seemed fine and setup was basically plug and play. I really liked the (on screen display) OSD and menu system. The monitor comes with a DisplayPort cable (for its single DisplayPort 1.2 input) and also has two HDMI 2.0 ports (no HDMI cables included). Overall, I thought the ASUS - TUF Gaming 32" curved HD monitor is a good value and performs well at this price point. It has decent brightness and color reproduction in challenging use cases. The ASUS monitor widget (which can be installed on Windows and Mac computers) also was useful and works with my second ASUS monitor from the ProArt lineup. >>> Pros >> Incredible refresh rate >> Value priced >> Excellent OSD menu >> Useful monitor widget available for Windows and Mac OS >> Curved monitor reduces glare <<< Cons << HDR Performance could be better

This in not a 4K monitor. But you have to ask yourself, "Do I really need a 4K monitor to get prestige level 3, or do I just simply want to waste precious electricity to have a minor visual upgrade?" The answer is a definitive, "No". You just don't. Save that for some primo video editing. Editing is not the reason that you're looking at this monitor. You're a gamer or you have a loved one who is a gamer and you'd love nothing more than to get them..or yourself, a sweet new sleek curved monitor. TheTuf series of gaming laptops are, in my opinion, some of the best budget friendly portable rigs out. And they can make a mean monitor, as well. I've had my share of monitors(Gaming and otherwise). Maonly because I've been blessed to get to review them, and I have to say, that any monitor I've used from ASUS has been great piece of tech. This monitor is built for gaming. It visually appealing to the eye and it can fit any desk-top set-up, because of its slim "V"-style stand and the option to float it using the four screws in the back. I personally prefer to float flat monitors, but to each his/her own. The controls are easy to navigate. All on the lower right-hand side of the screen (In the back) giving you 31.5" in' of bezeless display to work with. And my favorite part is the fact that there are internal speakers. Oh my goodness.I love the extra space that comes with not needing to have those little boxes clutttering up my workstation. That's extra space of my figurines. I replaced a monitor of another brand (who's name, I won't say, but you've heard of em'.) of the same size, but somehow, this one feels a little larger and smaller ( because I no longer need the speakers.). This does bring up the one issue that I do have. It is ironically also about my favorite feature. Those speakers. While I do love them, & they are good. It seems like they don't go pass 65% volume. By that, I mean, you just don't hear a significant difference in volume after that point. Again, I'm glad they're there for when I'm steaming with a local guest, but other than that, I'll simply use a pair of gaming headphones. I still love the feature, and I hope that they will improve the sound quality in future iderations. Other than that issue, along with the affordable price, this is a no-brainer purchase. This will look great in any gaming set-up. Get TUF & Go Home.
