I recently purchased a new Yamaha RX A-1070 receiver replacing a 10-year old + Sony receiver. Like many of you, I have a large collection of LP's that I had not had an change to play for years; this seemed like the perfect time to take care of that problem. I read several product reviews on the Best Buy site, and I determined that this was the correct product for me, and so far, it has worked like a champ! As I set it up, you could tell that it is a quality product, quite heavy and set up for heavy use. I have had it for just over a week and it has been great hearing my LP's again. Combined with the new receiver, we really have a great set up. So far, no issues with the player; the pop-up light is very handy for finding the right track on the LP, but the player does not have a return mechanism, so be close to the player near the end of the album! Very happy so far!

Bought during black Friday sale, save a bunch. Very easy to setup and begun spinning the vinyl immediately. Sounds great connected to my Bose system and would recommend the purchase for those thinking of investing in a quality record player.

This is a quality turntable with professional features. The direct drive is a plus. Well built with a well known name in audio equipment. The ability to use with computer as well as an amplifier and sound equipment is another plus.

This turntable has great features for the price when it’s on sale. Super easy setup and great sound. Having the line out amp really helps when using modern equipment. Haven’t tried recording any music yet so can’t comment on that.

This turntable is fantastic. The best Father’s Day gift I ever picked! Simple setup and use accompanied by SW that grows on you as you use it. I was not happy setting here with over 400 albums and a convoluted path to get them to my iTunes. This turntable solves that with a great result. The sound is incredible and it even plays thru the scratches from many years ago and the SW filters allow removal of the bad stuff like pops and crackles. BUY IT if you have records you haven’t heard in forever.

This is a great turntable for the money. Solid, heavy & seems to be well built. Detailed instructions made assembly fairly easy. My only complaint is that it does not lift up the needle at the end of the record, but most high-end turntables don't have this feature. Works well with both USB connection or RCA connection to a stereo system. Did not use Audacity software. Instead, Viny Studio software works great for transferring to your computer and is very easy to use.

I had a record collection that my wife wanted me to get rid of when we recently moved. Glad I didn't. My old turntable was damaged in the move so I decided to research and get the Audio-Technica. Wow! So good, so good! I gave it 5 stars just based on normal turntable operation. I haven't had a chance to try the USB function yet. Led Zeppelin never sounded so Led Zeppelin. Muddy Waters was warm and vibrant, not muddy. The cartridge that it came with was really great, not some cheap knockoff.

Upgraded from an older audio technical model. I do miss the automatic arm return at the end of the album , but the trade of having better sound and other great features like direct drive is worth it!

Pretty good for the price. My plate has a slight wobble and the mat seemed to help gather static charge which sucks luckily I had a rubber one that helped with static, and for 400.00 it would be nice to have auto return but it doesn't. But overall sounds good.

I had been looking for a TT to replace my 1961 Dual 1009 for about a year. I reviewed most all TT's in the $300 to $500 range. It finely came down to between a Fluance RT81 and the AT 120. I choose the AT because of the plus or minus 10% speed adjustment and the quartz speed lock feature, the fact it could play all 3 speeds and it came with the AT95 cartridge and stylus. First of all, the packaging is top notch. I think that the package could be dropped from 10 feet onto concrete without any damage to the TT. Also, the TT is fairly heavy which I think says something about the quality. The set up is straight forward and fairly easy. As far as operation and sound are concerned, this TT is a Precision TT and the sound is excellent from the AT95 cartridge and stylus. Another nice feature is when you push the stop button, the platter stops immediately without having to touch the platter like I had to do with my Dual. That thing would spin forever. The needle tracks great even at very high volume and that is a must for a good stereo system. Believe me, you will not be disappointed if you buy this TT. Oh, did I mention that this TT is beautiful. I was going to get the black one but it was out of stock and got the silver one and I'm glad I did. The TT looks like a lit Christmas tree when you turn it on!

I have wanted this for a while and just finally broke down and ordered it. Merry Christmas to me! This is amazing. The sound quality is stellar and I am so thrilled with this purchase. I have been looking at this for a while knowing it was the best rated player and when it came up for a $70 off sale, I couldn’t wait any longer. It’s worth every dime, even at full price. I had some records that wouldn’t play at all on my “starter record player” but they play just fine and I can hear more detail in the records now too. Amazing!!! I was complimented 3 x from checkout to the door about how great this product is by employees and no doubt they were right.

This is a good quality turntable for those who truly enjoy the sound of vinyl. I bought it as a gift for my husband, who loves jazz, and we both love the sound. It's heavy for it's size, but that's good because it's also sturdy. No extra vibrations. And it's also easy to put together and use. It's not the cheapest record player on the market, but worth it for those who really enjoy music and vinyl.

Very surprised and happy with this turntable. It has amazing sound for what you pay for, and amazing sound in general. There is some setup required after purchase, but it isn't difficult. For sure read the directions if you are not an audiophile on the set up. Now, this turntable is pretty great quality, especially for the price, but it can be improved with only a couple inexpensive changes. The mat is kind of a point the cheaper out on. Change it if you want better performance. The needle is pretty dang good, but if you change it to a Shure-M77 it'll give you more range and less record wear, just a slightly better sound really. To sum it up: great turntable with great quality sound, especially with the price. It'll perform without any mods, but if you become an audiophile that is never satisfied with the sound quality, just those two changes will keep you satisfied for a very long time.

Turntable is well built and easy to set up. Cartridge comes with the turntable and to my ears is fine for my vinyl collection. For the money this is a good turntable with most features one would want, with exception of the record does not return when it’s done playing. I’m sure it’s because this is for DJ use as well where you wouldn’t want auto return at end of record....but for most people this is a must feature. I knew it when I bought it, but I got this unit on sale at a great price...
