This is a fantastic starter kit for interested beginners! It has everything you could need to start, and doesn’t break the bank. It picks up a wide variety of items, and with learning the fine tuning, it is an easy to personalize device. I will say, I wish it was a little longer. Maybe not recommended for taller individuals.

Great device for its price. With the highest sensitivity setting, it can detect metal at about 2 feet. That was my only disappointment about it. Other than that, I get it. It’s not the most professional piece of equipment but it’s fun.

We purchased this for my Daughter and she loves it. It was very easy to assemble and use. The only complaint I had about it was the foam on the headphones doesn't stay on the ear areas very well. We have had to put them back on more than once. Other than that it works great and is fun to use to find coins, jewelry, paperclips, etc. We use it on walks at the park and other open areas. The shovel/pic and compass it comes with adds to the fun for the girls.

Fairly easy to put together. Takes a little adjusting to get the sensitivity settings just right. Headphones that come with the unit are pretty cheap but comes with the standard jack so you can use your own pair. My wife has yet to use on the beach for finding small treasures, but I'm sure she'll have fun with it.

It was a really great purchase, I bought it as a gift for my dad and it was the most perfect gift! He hasn’t had any issues with it!

This was shipped quickly and arrived a couple of days early. The product is of good quality and was not disappointing. It was a Christmas present for my 14 yr old grandson. Being winter, we haven't tried it too many times. However, he and 2 buddies went out one day for a brief amount of time and found 2 items! They all loved it and can't wait for nicer weather and spring!!!

We purchased this metal detector to find lost arrows on our archery range. We run a youth archery camp and sometimes arrows get lost under the grass. This metal detector worked great to find them! We originally purchased one at a lower cost from HarborFreight and couldn’t find a single arrow with it, decided to spend a little more and purchase this one from best buy! Good call because it did the job very well!

I bought this metal detector as a gift for my 12 year old nephew. He loves it! It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles, but as a starter detector, it does the job. It does come with some very nice accessories.

Omg! This detector is incredible. My lab Capone and I go out and sweep the ground. Just did after fireworks in my home town. I ended up with $87.80 is coins. Found 6 earrings, 2 sets of keys. I also found way too many can tops…lol

First one of these for me to own and is so easy to set up and use. Has a lot of extra features that some of my friends detectors don't have.

Couldn’t bring myself to give it a complete 5 star rating when I haven’t used it myself or even got to touch it. It was a bday gift for my 9yr old son and he unwrapped it and hasn’t came to me yet with a complaint so I guess that’s an awesome thing and worthy of a 5star rating. I chose to meet this rating in the middle until I get a chance to use it for myself but I can say if you give an item to a child and they never come back to u and you can never use it it’s a 10 star item.

A gift for my father. He has always wanted one. Now, he takes ot with him on all family trips.

We got this to try something different to play with. My hubby and kids have spend some time in the yard looking for some treasures. It's been fun. Nothing fancy, it's pretty basic but come with all tools with it.
