The agent couldn't do anything because my receiver was to old. It didn't have hdmi. Needed to purchase a new receiver. The tech departed. Need to get a refund for the geek squad service that wasn't done to my account under 2025777877 - thank u in advance.

Horrible! They obviously didn’t know what they were doing. They installed the electrical box inside my wall but WAY off center. The first thing you see when you walk into my living room is the box. It’s not just peeking. It’s out there!! When I slid the tv over to try to cover it. It’s WAY off center on the wall. It’s infuriating. I tried getting this resolved and they totally blew me off. Unprofessional customer service.
Never again will I shop at Best Buy!!

Jobs was not done. Once technician left turn the TV back on everything was not fixed have a new date for July 29th have not got the confirmation yet I had to call the 1-800 number to set this up I'm on vacation right now won't be back till July 28th

sound bar was installed behind the tv sony a9g sits flat and sound bar takes away the bottom two inches of the tv .this sound bar was recommended on the web site and by the sales associate..

Why wouldn’t the geek squad bring the correct HDMI WIRES to begin with?

Installer was explicitly required to setup soundbar using HDMI ARC with CEC control, but he only connected optical cable and left customer’s resistance. When called by customer’s son over phone, he lied by saying HDMI ARC and CEC was installed and working. When customers son finally was able to visit the home, he saw the bad installation.

I got this cause I have hearing loss. In the store it was extremely loud. When they installed it, it’s not any louder than the speakers on the TV. I have to turn the volume up to 50 to hear it.

The installer was a contract employee (not Geek Squad). He very much was lacking product knowledge. From this point on I am insisting on a real Geek Squad employee for any work I need as they are professional and very knowledgable.

The tech said the scheduler had not booked enough time though I had completely described what was required. Tech only partially hooked up the components, argumentative but finally with our insistence switched wiring/cables so that all speakers could play simultaneously. He left out one component entirely. Consequently, the speakers that have had excellent sound for years now sound terrible and two areas still project sound when the sound is turned off!!! Hopefully someone in your company actually reads these comments and will contact me about the situation! Thank You

The Geek Squad never showed up for any of the appointments I made and I am astounded that you had the nerve to charge my credit card for a job that you never did. I took two days off work and waited and waited, but no one ever showed up and your inept scheduling system provided no quality information when I phoned your customer service department repeatedly.
I lost wages, still do not have my receiver installed in a system you guys created AND you erroneously charged my credit card!

This item seemed to get lost somewhere in the overall process. When the installer arrived he didn’t know anything about this item. I drove back to Best Buy the next day and arranged for a refund. I would have been much happier if everything had gone as planned.
