Everybody knows about the BEATS! If you have one, you are a cool guy…? We tired with my girlfriend at the mall first. The sound quality, power was brilliant. We bought it! I think: it is a really good -over the ear headphones-, but a Sennheiser maybe cheaper and almost have same quality. If you have many $ , and if you would like to be „someone” who has a BEATS: you have to buy it! For me, who is an average guy how listen the music just in MP3… I didn't feel the differences. The battery life was cool. The holder too. All things considered, it is a good deal, but for me it was just a luxury goods.

These headphones are, first of all, very comfortable to wear, especially with the adjustable headband and cushioned earpieces. They sound amazing, maybe not great for professional use but amazing for working out or just hanging out, which is what I use them for. They also look awesome!!

I've been a DJ for about 15 years be have rocked my old Sony's until they literally fell apart. I was skeptical on the Beats as I figured they were just another BS product endorced by a name. Now that Apple has bought them out, I decided to get the Beats Studio in White. They are "noise cancelling" but not truely - I think Bose still hold the parent but the beats do a good job as long as they are playing audio. They are bass heavy but that's good in my field of work, especially when doing producing. I was disappointed to find the STUDIO series did not come with a 1/4" adapter, but I found one on eBay for about $6. I also enjoy the standard cable and the iPhone control cable that both come in the box. The charge lasts white a while! Bad thing though is they won't play at all without the charge. They are easy to clean, sound good, and fit comfortable! I wish it came with a longer coiled cord but I believe I can buy one that will work. Another good and bad thing - no power button!! With that said - if you forget to unplug the cord from the headphones it will drain the rechargeable battery l.

These do have a great sound. They do a good job of noise cancelling to filter out ambient sound. And they have a comfortable fit without squeezing my head too tight. My only complaint is that the ear cushions tend to make my ears sweat. I wore them while grocery shopping and the ear cushions were wet with sweat after about 20 minutes. It was kind of gross. I've never experienced that with any other headphones before. I hope they were made with some kind of anti-microbial built in. I wasn't even working out. I can't imagine how much I would have sweat had I been exerting myself.

I'm going by what my son has told me, because the Beats were a gift for him. He says they sound great and comfortable but doesn't like that you have to charge them. I don't see the problem with that everything seems to need charged now a days.

they are great headphones from the old ones. the song quality I've gotten better. also the build quality has gotten better too. love the rechargeable 20 hour battery great improvement from the old beats studios. what I don't like about the headphones are the new on and off switch on the headphones you have to take off the cord to turn it off.

I love these headphones. I wish I would have purchased a different color, only because the padding on the ears is white and it shows makeup stains very very easy. Otherwise, the quality is 5 star!

I bought the blue version, the studio is supherb in term of sounf quality than the solo. Mind you if youre audiophile that require extreme detail, wide sound stage then this one is not for you. But then, if youre one love running and listening music and working out, this will please u the mã!!!

Nice looking pair of headphones and the sound quality is better and much more balanced than the original beats studio model. However, build quality is cheap for headphones that retail at $250. In 10 months the plastic has already cracked near the earcup. Contacted apple about it and they want to charge you $159 to repair it. Bought this model on sale for $150 at Best Buy so if you plan on buying one just know that you're going to be replacing it around a year. FYI my Sennheiser 380 pro is still in good condition and I bought it back in 2011.

The new Beats Studio is an overall good headphone for the average consumer. If you are a die hard audiophile this may not be for you. There are better headphone out there and priced much better. The new foam ear pad is extremely comfortable and the construction is solid. You can somewhat be rough with this headphone and not have to worry about it cracking. I like the mute button idea. Press and hold to mute in case you need to speak or hear someone. I like the style queues and different colors available. The pros: I do like the auto on/off feature when you plug/unplug the cable to the headphone. This helps save battery consumption. The battery surprisingly last a while for powered headphones. Also, it is now rechargeable. New version is a much more balanced tones of mids and highs. Yet you still get a nice rich bass tone for bass heads. Long gone is the muddle bass. The cons: Price. Battery powered. I wished they had a Studios version that is not noise cancellation to get away from the battery aspect. The noise cancellation on the Studios is terrible, it doesn't cancel anything out. I don't like the fact that if the battery is dead, you cannot use the headphones. So if you constantly use your headphones, you'll want to make sure that you charge it everyday to insure you do not run out of power. It leaks sound considerably... so if you listen to loud music your neighbor next to you will be able to hear it. Granted it is an improvement from the past model. Despite the cons, I still think these are great headphones. Like with everything now a days, style is part of the reason why a person would buy this headphone and no one can deny that the Beats headphones are stylish.

    Greatest of its lineup

I know there are people going to disagree with me(by the way, I'm by no means an "audiophile") , but I think these a great pair of headphones--at least better than the rest of the Beats By Dre Lineup. The sound had been so far the best of its features. The balance between highs, mids, and lows are unheard of in Beats' range of products. "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons and "Another One Bites The Dust" by Queen show a prominent showing of lows, while "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire and "I Will Wait" by Mumford & Sons definitely show the presence of mids and highs. Hip hop, rap, pop, dance, and a variety of rock are probably more suited to define the headphones, but by no means so these sound bad for other genres. In a summary, the sound of the new generation Studios are really good and are the best from Dr. Dre. Besides for being extremely stylish(it's a Beats product, so duh) , the comfort of the Studios are unmatched by anyone else. The leather ear cups fit snuggly in your ear and the band gives a cushion that makes you feel great. I can wear it for days on end. The only really downside of this product is that it'll create alot of fingerprints, so make sure you have a cleaning cloth handy. In conclusion, if you have the money, definitely try them out. If you don't, there are other alternatives around. I honestly think that these headphones are the best in its class. Every kind of headphones have their drawback. Everyone has a different set of what balance is to them when it comes to music, and this is coming from musician who listens to lots of music with different sets of headphones. I like to see more bass especially in more generic headphones, I like Bose products, but I don't want a not stylish and not durable(most of my old Bose headphones broke), and Sennheiser products, but they're not my style of headphones that I'm interested in. Everyone has their own opinion, so if you disagree or look down on my opinion, I could really care less.

I've had my headphones less than a year and I generally keep them in the carrying case that comes in the box. The inside plastic of the headphones cracked while in the carrying case. With such an expensive product, I did not expect the headphones to last less than a year. I do not even use the headphones every day, so this is very disappointing.

I bought these at their sale price of $150. It's the right price for these headphones and they are totally worth it at $150. They sound much better than older beats that tended to be on the muddy and boomy side. These still aren't on the level of Bowers & Wilkins or Bang & Olufsen in terms of flat audio reproduction, but at this price point they sound perfectly fine. They were initially a little tight, but I have worn them in to where I can wear them for longer periods now. The quality feels good and the cables, charger and case are very nice. I like that it comes with two different cables. My complaint is that when the battery goes dead, they no longer work. It would be nice if the battery was for noise cancelling only so that you could continue to listen if the batter went dead. Good thing the batter lasts a long time. That, and there's a slight hiss when no music playing, but for me its not a big deal as I'm not going to wear them if I'm not listening to music. Overall I like them.

I travel a lot so I wanted to invest on some headphones. I do own the BeatsPro, which sounds fantastic, has very little sound leakage, but weighs a lot so not so great for 5-6 hour flights. I have never purchased the Studio because of sound leakage and needing batteries for it to even work even if you turn noise cancellation off. When Beats redesigned the Studio, I went to Best Buy to try them on and I really liked how light they were and the sound quality. I like bass and I tried the Bose QC15 at Best Buy and that didn't have as much bass for the music that I listen to. I just recently used the headphones on a flight from Honolulu to Las Vegas and it is great at cancelling out airplane noise or people talking so you can listen to your music or watch a movie. The rechargeable battery is convenient for me and last long. The on/off switch is unplugging the cable. While that sounds clever, it's kind of annoying if you put the headphones on your neck and you have a dangling wire. If you keep it plugged on the headphones, you are draining battery as it is still doing noise cancellation. Also, the band gets fingerprints VERY EASILY and it drives me nuts, I have to wipe it down often. I really like the hard carrying case compared to the bag they give you for the Beatspro, but there are no pockets so you might have loose cables and I don't think you can fit your charger in there as well. Build quality looks good, I don't think it's going to break any time soon but I did buy the warranty from Best Buy just in case as it is so irritating to mail your headphones to Beats and wait and wait for them to send you a replacement.

So far so good. I work in a busy office and bought these to drown out the noise and it does a great job of that. The sound quality is amazing. The fit is soft and comfortable. I also like that the over the ear style doesn't put pressure on my glasses and ears like my old on the ear headphones did - I am able to wear them for a 9 hour shift with no head pain. I got these on sale and they are totally worth the sale price. And the gold/champagne color is super classy and not status flashy - they don't scream "Look at my Beats" like some of the brighter colors. I have gotten compliments on these even before people realize they are the Beats brand.

Rich deep bass and vibrant highs. 8 hour flight with them on and the cushion around the ears were very comfortable throughout the flight. Did not take them off the whole flight
