The bass isn't as intense as I expected, but they are headphones, not subwoofers. The sound is great and the noise cancellation on an airplane is fantastic.

The one down fall I see is even if you hook up the wire it will use the battery life on the headphones themself which doesn’t make since to me. They are a wonderful product.

The sound quality is amazing and the noise canceling feature works better than I imagined. These are by far better than my old pair and I would recommend them to everyone. I could still hear outside noise. Also, the folding to close them was not easy and felt they would break easily. Returned and got different brand.
