Do a test piece of whatever you use it for the first time. We had to turn the settings down lower than any toaster we have ever had. That being said, once you figure out your settings it does a fantastic job!!!

This is the first Bella appliance I have owned, but it will not be the last. I am thrilled with this toaster, it's a delight to use! I love the self-adjusting thickness guides that allow perfect toasts every time.
