It has a good setting lever for how dark or light you want your bread. So far foe almost 2 months I have had no problems. Best toaster I have bought, especially at the low price they offered.

This is the first Bella appliance I have owned, but it will not be the last. I am thrilled with this toaster, it's a delight to use! I love the self-adjusting thickness guides that allow perfect toasts every time.

It toasted both sides evenly instead of just one side. I returned the first one for another but it had the same problem. It’s a shame because it’s an attractive toaster that toasts pretty evenly.

That is it’s main function but it definitely toast evenly and nicely. In my search to find a good toaster I realize there’s not that many out there and for the price this was a great deal. So far so good.

My purchase was to get a toaster that actually can toast a bagel on one side. Unfortunately this toaster does do a better job than previous ones, but still does some toasting on the outer side.
