My purchase was to get a toaster that actually can toast a bagel on one side. Unfortunately this toaster does do a better job than previous ones, but still does some toasting on the outer side.

We've been using a toaster oven for a few years and my wife hates the way it toasts, so I got this on a whim as a gift for the house. It works very well, consistently, and can easily accommodate thick slices and bagels. I usually avoid single purpose devices because of my smallish kitchen but I've found that this one really is head and shoulders above my multipurpose toaster.

It sounds like my old one however, the lights on it make it look nice and it gives me a sight that something is toasting. The quad slots let's me toast more bread in less time.

This toaster never sticks or catches what's inside. It never burns because it has an auto stop and it fits everything I want to toast in a toaster I love it.
