Try it on lower numbers first. The best thing is all bread fits inside it. I Use the Pan bread and have always had a problem making it fit. I no longer have that problem. It fits great.

Unfortunately, my left lever mechanism didn't work out of the box. Pandemic happened so I couldn't return to store. Then eventually it was past the return period... so I essentially replaced my old two slice toaster with a Bella Pro two slice toaster. LOL At least it looks pro on the countertop though.
