I've been testing this for a few months now. It's stainless steel and has a nice weight to it. I have sensitive skin and tend to get ingrown hairs, and this has significantly cut down on both. Easy to rinse out. This is not a butterfly open design, it's a traditional unscrew the handle and pull the base off for direct access to the blade. The blades that come with it work well, I've been using Feather blades in it and those work too. Very nice, well worth it!

Awesome one pass d.e. saftey razor.i would classify it as a medium agressive razor. Its design is for single pass with the grain shaving not against the grain. For less irritation,ingrown hairs etc. When u add your blade u will always need to check blade alignment..bevel safety razor is double more aggressive than the merker 34c which is very mild. for comparison

Bought it on sale, great purchase. Something different if you are like me and want to bring some excitement to routine tasks. Comes with 10 blades and I usually replace mines after 3-4 shaves and would go longer.

Had to get this on sale, as I didn’t see a reason to buy a more expensive razor when my Van Der Hagen cost half what the Bezel and Gillette were ON SALE. It does its job well enough, just not as close a shave, or maybe it was my relative inexperience.

Thought a straight razor would be scary but if you follow the directions, it’s a nice razor. Just let the weight of the razor do the work. Voila!

The shaver is amazing and it has replace my old shavers and I do recommend this one because its stainless steel and lasts longer.

I use single safety razors from other vendors, and this one is dangerous not only loading it, but holding it as the handle is thin and slick!

I am not the type to use razors, but this one i do like . Fewer razor bumbs then other brands i use .

Found the perfect double edge razor, it's amazing if you suffer from razor bumbs

So far no ingrown hairs or bumps. Leaves my face feeling really soft
