I love this mop so much i have actally had two of the same brand just different models. About after 1 year it just stop steaming and it has a drip leak from the base of the mop. It works great until it stops one day.

Arrived with water in the tank, just like another user reported. Contacted Bissell customer support and verified that new units do NOT already have water in the tanks. Unit should be sold for discount if pre-owned, not full price.

This is a really good steam mop. We had purchased one from Amazon before, and it for some reason over heats. I hope this one does not overheat.

Used the scrubby mop pad for kitchen floor and it left marks on my floor then I switch to the other softer pad and it did the same thing. Took a lot of effort to push around my floor. I will be returning it.

We’ve been looking for a way to clean all types of floors that would allow us to retire the mop and bucket. Violia! We found it. Bussell has a light weight, affordable way to clean floors with hot water and a cleaning pad. It was quick out of the box. Minimal set-up required. You do need distilled water that we didn’t have at home. Other than that. Sweep the floors or vacuum then bring in the big gun. A floor we had mopped the day before, well let’s just say it was now being really cleaned. Bathroom Title floors, wood high traffic and a linoleum floor. Rave reviews in our house. Has a scrubber capability that you separate the head from the handle and sticky stuff or hard to clean was gone. Take off pad, drop in wash and ready to go again. We were wondering why we hadn’t purchased before now.

Love this steam mop! I read the reviews on several different ones and decided on this one. I have laminate wood floors that have a glossy shine to them. I remember the salesperson telling me if I had pets or kids I might want to rethink buying a glossy floor product. Well, with pets he was right. Paw prints everywhere. Always having to use a mop with a microfiber pad cleaning and buying expensive cleaning products. Then the cat got a UTI. All I could smell was cat urine. That was the breaking point. I went and bought the steam mop. Only my bedroom has carpet in it. I can clean every floor with this mop. My glossy laminate floors look amazing after using this! The smell is completely gone. The steamer is easy to use. Just pour in some distilled water, wait about 30 seconds, and it is ready to go. It glides smoothly and the the mop head turns. The first couple of times it did seem to streak the floors. I read another post where someone else said the same thing and that is was just a build up of other cleaning products. After using it twice I don't have that problem. Floors look great. Got it on sale for $80. Definitely worth the investment.

Bought this based on the reviews w pictures of grout before and afters. This steam mop worked much better than I expected. The spot brush cleaned all my grout beautifully. I normally do my grout w a magic eraser but this works just as well or better without being on my hands and knees. My grout is light beige and always gets dark and dirty. The mop also glides under furniture and gets right up against the wall. Works amazing. My only issue is that best buy does not carry the mop pads. I need atleast 5 . The cord is nice and long and the water in the tank lasts a good while. I highly recommend this product.

This Bissell steam mop has been a great addition to my cleaning routine. It heats up fast, glides smoothly, and leaves my floors feeling clean and sanitized without using chemicals. It's lightweight, easy to handle, and the water tank is simple to fill. The only minor gripe is that it doesn’t clean deep into the grout lines between tiles—it’s more suited for smooth, flat surfaces. But for hardwood, laminate, and even sealed tile, it’s fantastic. Highly recommend for everyday floor cleaning and a fresher home feel!

I used this for the first time this morning. My last steam mop was a very old version of the Shark steam mop with the triangular head. I enjoyed the triangular head more as it was easier to maneuver and get into corners. The Bissell however is much lighter in weight and the head does maneuver pretty easily. Biggest downfall is that the head is pretty large and cannot get into tighter spaces (i.e. behind the toilet). This steam mop has a rather small water tank. I was able to do the bathroom and laundry room before refilling. The Shark mop had a much larger tank and I was able to complete the kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom and still have some water left over in the tank. On the plus side this mop has more concentrated steam, keeping it under the mop head while using. It leaves the floor damp but is dry in less than 5 minutes. Worked great on both ceramic and linoleum flooring, have not had a chance to use it on the old clay tiles yet but I assume it will perform just as well. Must scrub some of the tougher spots (we have 3 kids and 4 animals) because the Bissell is so light. Includes an additional pad with scrubbers, though. Very easily to put on and remove the cloth mop covers! I would definitely say it was worth the money.

This was purchased as a replacement for my old Haan floor steamer (so old they don't make this model any longer). After reading reviews of what was available, I decided to take a chance on this one. It is very easy to use and does a pretty good job. I especially like the option to remove the base by just stepping on a lever and then using the built-in scrub brush to clean the grout. I made the mistake of trying this in the middle of the room (I really didn't expect it to work that well), but it looked like new grout again! Now I work on a small section every time that I steam the floors. The only complaint that I have is that the mop head cloths get too wet if I let it sit between rooms. I have found a workaround by vacuuming the floors first and using the low steam setting unless I hit a really dirty place. I really do like it for the price, though.

I feel like this is the only way to actually clean hardwood or tile floors. I always felt like the swiffer was just pushing the dirt around but with this I feel the steam is actually sterilizing the floor. Puts out a lot of steam and if you want a fresh smell you can add the scent tablet.
