This is similar to the Shark that it replaced. The sharks steam function wasn't working as well, and we thought this would be a good replacement for our kitchen and dining room. I'm very impressed with it's ability to get my kitchen floors clean with having four dogs in there. I like how clean the floors are after I use the Symphony on it. It does not take long for it to get the steam ready, and the vacuum is great,

Works amazing on my wood floors. I have two dogs and I've been using it almost every day. Only issue is that you can't use it on carpet.

I purchased this vacuum, cause of all the good reviews it had concerning wood floors. It does very good on sealed wood floors, it has removed many sticky stuff off the floors, including dried up ice cream the kids dropped and we didn't notice it till later lol. Vacuuming the floors is easy and quick no longer do I have to use a wood floor push broom. My only complain for not giving it a 5 star review is that when you steam clean it, it leaves streaks on the wood floor. The wood floor looks very clean, but you see streaks on it.

It's so easy to use and cleans thoroughly. I've never had one before so I don't have a comparison point but I'm very happy with it.

I love this thing! I have two dogs (one of which is a puppy) and a cat. Needless to say this means TONS of animal fur...everywhere. I know some reviews say that the vacuum isn't strong but you need to have realistic standards. I usually sweep up the big stuff then use this because of the aforementioned tons of fur. But this thing rocks. You may have to go over a site a few times if it's stuck on but it's pretty effective. It sucks up the dirt on the floor and steam mops so well. I highly recommend it!

I absolutely love it. Just wish there were more pads. Does a wonderful job on all floors including marble.

My floors are shiny and clean. The combination of vacuum and steam mop are ideal for tile and hardwood. I love it.

This mop/vac gets heavy use around our house. It is easy to use, lightweight and super easy to clean.

We actually bought one for the tile at work, and I was impressed enough I bought one for home. It does steam, but not like I was expecting it to. No big puffs like a steam iron. That said, the vacuum and steam mop combo is a great idea. Keeps the steam mop from smearing dirt, grit, etc. So far so good. Like it that it uses water, and you don't need a special solution.

I was skeptical when I saw the TV commercial and was a bit worried when the wife wanted to buy it, but I could not have been more wrong. We got the unit home and put it together in about 5 minutes. Once we used it on our hardwood floor for the first time it was somewhat of an experience. Amazing results and afterwards we applied Rejuvenate and our floors look brand new. This machine is definitely worth the money and you will not be disappointed.

I thought I finally found the perfect cleaning tool for my floors which are a mix of laminate, hardwood, rugs and carpet. While the steaming function for hard floors is great there is much to be desired with the vacuuming function. The vacuum does work and will pick up dust and dirt, but it functions much better on hard floors than it does on carpet or rugs. Pros: - Great Steaming Function: There are both a high and low setting to tackle various messes and the option of using disposable or washable steaming cloths is very nice. - Hard Floor Vacuuming: It's not the best vacuum but it works and not having to use a separate machine to vacuum and steam is a nice feature for hard floors. - Steam and Vacuum Together: Being able to steam and vacuum at the same time is really a time saver. The vacuum is also in front of the steamer so this helps to ensure you get the floors vacuumed before being steamed on forward passes. Cons: - Carpeting on Rugs/Carpet: It's just not worth it. The vacuum only function doesn't have enough power to clean and instead usually leads to dirt/dust just getting pushed around or clumped together. - Difficult to Maneuver: Without any flexible wheels the machine is harder to turn than most vacuums and only works best with a forward and back motion.

Overall this vacuum gets a good rating. The vacuum is adequate, but isn't one to be used for heavy dirt areas. Steam portion of the machine is very good, but takes a little bit of time to get going. First several passes on a laminate floor will need to be repeated. Doesn't not remove all spill spots without assistance of a chemical cleaner. Not great in corners. Everyday maintenance this works well, but not a go to vacuum for heavy clean up areas.

I was a bit hesitant when I was buying this, we have 2 dogs, so there is hair all over the place. The whole house is either hardwood floor and tile so what I used to do is sweep and mop. But once I tried this vacuum/steam mop I stopped doing the others!!! This works great!! Vacuum picks up all the hair and the steam cleans whatever is on the floor, just love it!!

Replaced all the floors in my house with tile, almost regreted it till I found this little Gem! It's so easy to keep my floors clean now! I have a Shedding Shepard aka German Sheppard and this thing is So Awesome! Picks up the hair and the canister is easy to empty, and I like knowing my floors are cleaned with Steam no chemicals!

Not only will this product steam clean the floor, but first it will vacuum up unwanted pet hair and pet food to make your floor doubly clean. Excellent idea. A must have for pet owners.

This steamer is an amazing item. It cuts my cleaning time down cuz now instead of having to sweep before mopping or steaming i can just use this cuz it vacuums at the same time.Makes the floors very clean, better then just mopping.Even works great with pet accidents.
