Q: Is there really a difference in the symphony or pet vac symphony
A: Yes there is! The Pet version has a dirt tank designed to easily empty pet hair and includes our disposable pads which some models may not.
A: Yes it does. If you use the wet mop pads that you purchase separately they will bunch up. The fabric ones work fine on carpet and using steam.
Q: How do i empty the water from the tank?
A: Good question - With this machine it's safe it leave the water in the tank when not in use.
A: You can vacuum and steam mop at the same time, out use either independently of each other. I use it vacuum crumbs dog hair while steaming and it's pretty great.
A: No it doesn't...it doesn't have a container for the dirty water only for the water for the steam...I also have a Hoover Floormate....I mainly purchased this machine to vacuum and wipe the floors. I used to have a dyson cordless that vacuum and wiped the floor... but the battery burnt out...and didn't last long while cleaning. With this machine I can use it longer because of the cord/plug. The only thing missing is a long nossel to get into the corners and high places. But all in all I like this machine...as for the high places I just wipe with a rag. Hope this helps.
