Webroot quit working for me. Windows defender corrupted Webroot every time Windows updated. Saw this antivirus and it had good reviews and thought I would try it. So far it is working ok.

This was a great buy on Black Friday and I had a good year with it so I repurchased it again during this Black Friday. Other antivirus software have slowed down my machine significantly but I never had an issue with it except I think when I needed to update it. It seemed to be running slower and then I'd update the software and things appeared to speed up. I like that it would alert me when it blocked something suspicious on the internet. It was good to know something wasn't covertly happening under my nose. Overall satisfied!

The best protection for your computer. Will provide reasonable protection, but fails against the NSA and other sophisticated predators. As the standard American back door to antivirus firewall protection programs sold in the USA. Only became an issue when capitalism began victimizing its population by democracy started to do When we went to a two party system I've tried every Computer protection program in the industry and they all full short of quality and protection. If you use your computer for standard stuff and do not do risky transactions or go to risky places the defender will protect you from the average amateur hacker, But if your name is sold capitalism is failing, and you've become a commodity for America you can easily be hacked and become AA victim of circumstance This is not a negative against bit defender. It does the job. It is permitted to do, like all the other programs It's just unfortunate the environment. It now has to live in is two big brother Lee to get the job done

Prefer the 2021 Bitdefender Antivirus Plus to my old 2020 McAfee Antivirus Plus. McAfee really slowed down my computer while running a "full scan", and took a very long time to complete on my older Windows 10 PC. Bitdefender seems much quicker, and it seems even the "full scans" take a lot less time. I like how Bitdefender has a built-in Ad Blocker out of the box, didn't realize how my web pages were "taken over" by advertisements and pop ups. The interface on the Bitdefender also seems easier to use.

Seemed to do the job without slowing down my laptop. Got it on sale, so good value.

Had always used Norton and Trend Micro until recently. Norton has the automatic renewal which drives me crazy. Antivirus software are always on sale near the holidays that you get $35-$50 while the renewal charges are over $100. Bitdefender doesn't require a credit card and installation was easy.

i really love this and its working great on my laptop

Poorly developed interface. More annoying rather than helpful with its repeated popup notifications for the SAME ISSUE over and over. I suppose it kept my computer safe but it's worth with paying more to have an AV program that is effective and not interfering with simple actions like checking webmail.

I've gotta stop buying this from the store and just download it. gonna have to download it anyway. great antivirus.
