The Blinks Camera works good and I will recommend anyone to buy the and use them. Especially if they want to secure they home.

11/9/2023 These outdoor cameras work fine - in non-freezing, really cold over night temperatures. That said, they have one glaring, serious issue and/or defect to them. These “OUTDOOR, ALL-WEATHER” cameras from BLINK (Amazon), completely fail during really cold over night temperatures (frozen over/fogged-up non viewable picture). This is a major problem - an actual safety issue that this company, BLINK, must address and fix immediately! I can actually see a lawsuit happening… I had no issues during the spring and summer nights, but as soon as we hit Fall and colder nights/over night temps into early pre-dawn mornings, the one camera that’s not under one of my ledges, is completely useless! And that camera oversees - is supposed to record a big part of my property, overnight! But because we’re now into Fall and temps are colder over night, the picture is completely fogged-up/frozen over, making this one camera completely useless - and yes, a safety hazard! Completely frustrating! I’m involved in an unbelievable institutional corruption case against an entire corrupt state, have received veiled threats by specific “trusted” entities, and this one camera is useless - because of the inept, incompetent failed design flaw by BLINK (Amazon)! The view or picture of the outside of your home, the one you actually view from your electronics (smart phone, laptop, etc), while your outdoor camera is in use/recording overnight in cold weather, becomes completely blurry and “fogged out.” The picture is completely non-viewable! Think of getting in your car on a really cold night and your windows are completely frozen/“fogged-up” until you turn on the heater to defog your windows. Well, this is exactly what’s happening! The main purpose of having an outdoor security camera system - an “all-weather” security camera system as these are advertised by BLINK (Amazon), is to provide just that - security video recording of your property in case of nefarious, criminal activity! It’s to provide security; the only function is to provide a clear picture/video recording! That’s the only point of security cameras - “OUTDOOR, ALL-WEATHER SECURITY CAMERAS!” Well, incredibly (can’t believe this is happening), these outdoor cameras by this company BLINK (Amazon), completely fail with the most basic function - providing security recording during any weather condition! If they’re not under a ledge and exposed to the cold, these cameras are useless! Cold, over night temperatures, should NEVER be any issue at all. A clear picture/clear recording of the outside of your home will not become visible (on your phone/laptop) until the morning - after temperatures warm up. This is a MAJOR issue - a complete function failure, safety failure, etc., that BLINK obviously failed to ever address in their design/manufacturing of these, their “outdoor cameras.” This issue is beyond unacceptable; this safety issue should never happen, because these are OUTDOOR CAMERAS! They’re advertised as outdoor, all-weather cameras. It completely defeats the purpose of having OUTDOOR security cameras if they can’t record/provide a clear picture during cold, over night temperatures! BLINK (Amazon) needs to literally recall and/or offer customers who have these 3rd generation “outdoor cameras,” a refund and/or new cameras - that will truly function as all season “outdoor cameras!” Not good, BLINK (Amazon)!

States in ad it has night vision. Dissapointed found out it doesn't.
