No, they work and they do the job and a budget price. If this is what you can afford, get these! If you can afford more, get something better (cough cough Google Nest cough). I got these cameras for my not-very-tech-savvy father who lives in a sketchy part of town. These cameras are battery powered, easy to install and the Blink app is straight to the point. $10 a month gives you the ability to have recordings saved to the cloud, While I wish the video quality was a bit better, he loves these cameras.

Be aware subscription plan is now required.

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great when I bought a year ago, now they force you to upgrade to their cloud service to be able to record footage when the camera triggers with movement. I bought 2 which are in the legacy no subscription required and bought a 3rd one that needs to be subscribed to their cloud data in order to record videos. This is a major slap to new customers and maybe old customers as it seems they might be pushing the subscription plan to all in the future for features that were available before the subscription plan. I will not buy another camera or cameras since they will all require a subscription defeating the purpose of even buying them in the first place.
