Don't waste your time of this set up because although the camera itself has a pretty good low light picture quality as well as a large field of view perfect for a outside camera, the link unit and the app and the camera took long multiple attempts of setting up until we were finally able to set it up but then afterwards, about once a day, sometimes twice a day, almost every single day the link unit unlinks itself and then the whole thing doesn't function at all, requiring another 15 minutes of your time to re-sync everything up all over again and again and again, which can't be done if you are not home. So basically this camera is worthless because it hardly ever works. Because of its size and allegedly long battery life we really wanted this Blink outdoor camera to succeed but unfortunately it failed miserably. Also they give you a little plastic tool to open the back battery compartment with that is supposed to double as an extra mount bracket for when you want to screw the mounts upside down like underneath a roof easement over hang, but again, unfortunately that piece does not really work for that function.

Restart your sync module by unplugging it from power, waiting 30 seconds, then plugging it back in.

Verify that your home network is on a 2.4 GHz band, as Blink cameras work best on this frequency rather than 5 GHz.
Remove and re-add the sync module in the Blink app to establish a fresh connection.
