Never an issue when not using the app. I’ve updated the software and it hasn’t happened since but that was only a day ago.

The connectivity on this device is the worst I have experienced. Where do I start, I bought this to replace my BOSE soundsport "wireless" earbuds so I can workout without the struggle of wired wireless, and I mainly use my nano iPod to workout. I had a really hard time connecting and pairing both earbuds to my device. Also every time I use them with an other device like my iPhone I have to delete my bluetooth form my iPod in order for the pods to recognize the device againnn!!! SMH Also the left EarPods cuts the sound way to much. No BUEno. I will be returning mine in a couple of days.

I was almost ready to buy the Apple when I found more information on the Bose that was positive. So far they are great. They do not block out all the sound around you which may be an advantage for some. If you want complete silence from these your buds you should look elsewhere. Sound and bass are excellent.
