Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the SoundSport Free True Wireless Headphones for their excellent sound quality, comfortable fit, and long battery life. The charging case is also well-received for its convenience. However, some users have experienced connectivity issues, find the design to be bulky, and feel that the price is not justified by the product's performance.

No one can dispute Bose quality. Experienced tech buyer, been through many wireless headphones. These Bose have great sound and have maintained their quality after 18 months of HEAVY USE. I bought this third set as a present for my son. Mine are self chargeing in my gym bag right now. They get me through 3 workouts before I have to charge the case. They already lasted longer then all others I have owned, and I tried them all! When these finally do fail you can bet I'm buying the exact same ones again. Well worth it.

These Bose in-ear sound great. Deep bass and clear mids/highs. Had issue with one earbud disconnecting with the other even after firmware update. They are on the larger size for in-ear buds, and the controls are a little difficult to press while using the buds. Once Bose works out these issues, maybe with version 2..should be a great buy.

      Hello Chubs,

Thank you for sharing your review of the SoundSport Free wireless headphones. We suggest that you place your mobile device on or near your right side when the headphones are in use. The Bluetooth signal is first processed by the right earbud which is then streamed to the left. If there is any interference with the Bluetooth signal, the left ear will drop out first. We appreciate you taking the time to try them out and share your feedback. Have a great day!

      Best Regards,
      Greg - Bose Support Bose

I really wanted to like these true wireless headphones from Bose. I tried these, the Jabra Elite 65t and the Jaybird Run Free. Far and away, the Bose sounded better (to me) than any of them. Wasn't even close. But when I used the Bose in the gym, running on a treadmill, the right earbud would always feel like it was falling out. The left earbud, no problem. This may not be a problem for you though as all ears are different. If these fit you, you may be okay. I almost kept them though because when I wore them in my office, they were perfect. No slippage. Phone calls sounded great and the people on the conference calls I was on said I sounded great. The problem I had was that the left headphone would constantly lose it's connection with the right one. Even when the phone was only 2 feet away from the headphones, the left ear bud would drop out. I tried two differennt sets of the headphones and they both had this problem. If you don't experience the fit issue or the dropped connection issue, these will be some of the best headphones you'll have. I'll recommend that you try them, but your mileage may vary. Just try to put them through their paces within the return period.

      Hello Mdotdub,

Thank you for providing your review of the SoundSport Free wireless headphones. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the sound quality. We understand however that you had some trouble with the connectivity and fit. Many times an audio drop out can occur when there is interference between the source device and headphones. Please check for nearby sources of interference or you can also try re-pairing the devices.

The StayHear+ Sport tip lets the earbud rest comfortably and securely in your ear.

The tip wing fits just under your ear ridge.
      1. Insert the earbud so the StayHear+ Sport tip gently rests in the opening of the
      ear canal.

      2. Tilt the earbud back and tuck the tip wing under the ear ridge until it is secure.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out to our Bose technical support team at your convenience.

      Thank you again,

      Mohsin - Bose Support Bose

The fit hurts my ears sometimes if not in perfectly. The sound is great but not as good as my Sony over the ear headphones, but still sound good for how small they are. I use them just about everyday. Battery life is longer them I normally wear them. The ear buds charge fast but the charge case takes awhile. I still love them for riding bike and going for walks. Haven't fallen out when working out.

Bought these to use at the gym and while running outside. While the sound is great, the left earbud sometimes has a tendency to stop working (especially if I'm wearing a beanie) and when I run in an urban type area. So now I use these only at the gym or when on the treadmill at my house I have reverted back to using my bluetooth connected or wired earbuds for road running and raceday events

Headphones sound good. But not loud and the tips are big for my ears. If you have smaller ears or are a smaller person these headphones probably aren’t for you. I ended up returning them just due to them hurting my ears. It could have just been me. But even with the smaller tips they still hurt to wear and I only used them for less than an hour. Still doesn’t change the fact you have to turn them on 75% volume just to hear them.

These stay in your ear and the sound is really nice. They aren’t very loud but the charge lasts about 4 or 5 trips to the gym.

I was skeptical about the sound quality but these blow me out of the water! The bass response is incredible and they get very loud. I have had no issues with pairing or when running - they sync right up and have never fallen out of my ears. They come with different ear pieces so you can get an optimal fit. I pair them with the Gear Fit2 Pro without issue. They're also great for listening around the house when other people are around and don't want to be bothered by whatever you're listening to.

Absolutely fantastic! Very comfortable, connects to phone and watch easily with Excellent sound. Totally wireless, no wired draped around your neck yet stays secure and comfortable in my ears during runs of 20 and 23 miles. That’s over 3 hours of running and these headphones were great. My only criticism is that I wish the battery life was over 5 hours on a full charge. 8 hours would be ideal!

The sound quality is great with these true wireless headphones. The are a little heavy in the ear to start with. The wings stayed in place at first and then the true wireless headphones started falling out of my ear, so I returned them because my work environment would be dangerous if I am trying to catch them every time they try to come out of my ear.

Great sound and secure fit. They are a little bit uncomfortable after several hours but I'm hoping that will go away as I wear them more. They do protrude a bit from the ears but no big deal. The only real negative is that the sound from phone calls isn't that great. I had the old Bose bluetooth headset for phone calls and those are great. It seems the sound quality didn't carry over to these for phone calls.

Lives up to its marketing 100%! The performance has been outstanding throughout my training sessions by providing clear and high quality sound. In that, vigorous training brings an immense amount of sweat which seems to be no issue as I’ve had in the past with other wireless headphones. Lastly, it can not go unnoticed of the comfort level these headphones contain. Anything would bring discomfort after hours of wearing something in your ear, but these seem to feel Comfy when wearing the correct size ear pieces.

Overall this product is solid and worth the money spent if what you are looking for is truly a wireless bluetooth headset. Best on the market right now. Sound quality blows away any beats by dre. The connectivity can have issues at times due to distance to interference. Also At first this product might annoy you due to the weight of the head phones on your ears if you wear them for a long period of time.

I got these when they were on sale and I'm glad I did. Excellent sound quality for listening to music and the microphone picks up your voice without the person you're talking to having to ask you to repeat yourself. They fit perfect in my ears, may seem a little bit large for using a lot but I've gotten comfortable with them. Only issue is I wish I would have gotten one of the other colors so I can find them easier when I have to take them out.
