Absolutely love this machine! It replaced my Keurig 2.0. Very easy to use. Love the feature of single use versus a 12 cup pot. The stainless steel carafe keeps coffee steaming hot for at least two hours. Worth every penny.

Looks great and works exactly as expected. Makes excellent coffee and gives a great experience to your mornings. Is a little bit of more work than in a traditional coffee drop but pays you back with a consistent flavor, perfect temperature and the thermos works as promised. I have had a warm cup of coffee 5 hours after brewed!! It's worth every dollar and makes your kitchen look fancy and innovative. JC01

Bought this coffee maker about 6 months ago and I have been very happy with the purchase. Makes a great cup of coffee, is easy to use, cleaning is easy, and is very convenient. The single serve cup is my go to method for a quick and delicious cup of coffee for my morning drive.

I wanted this to be the best coffee machine I ever had but man o man, where to begin. After the 1st few days of using it I was really frustrated and was going to send it back to best best. Coffee was more water than coffee. Didnt matter the grind or brew setting, we even changed the brand of beans. Nothing helped. A quick youtube search and I found out how to calibrate the weight of the coffee and that fixed it, but only kinda. to get this machine to work I've been using it with the hopper lid off and guiding the beans into the front of the grinder to make sure it always has beans in on top of the acculle blades. There is no way the make this happen without manually doing so. So you can not pre-set it at night and let it just work like other brewers. If you can stand there and make sure it is feeding beans into the shot then it does make a real great cup, but again its kind of a pain. The clean up after every cycle isn't that bad and I deal with pre-heating the craft, just letting my hottest water out of the tap run into the craft, while I clean out the last batch, BUT MAN O MAN NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Still thinking about taking it back or at least getting a cheap dripper as a backup when I don't have time. O, speaking of time it does cycle rather quickly. So that's a plus.

For the money I would have expected a better design. It’s nice to look at but has some shortcomings. The craft is difficult to clean. Unless you have hands the size of a 7 year old you’re gonna need a bottle brush or equivalent. The flip side is that it does keep the coffee hot for an extended period of time. Cleaning after every pot is a huge pain. It has way too many parts and things that need washing (see pic). The taste of the coffee required experimentation with grind setting and strength but it only took a few tries to dial it in. Overall impression is just average. A bit too complicated and too many parts to clean is my biggest complaint.

Great Coffee Maker: sleek design and features

We decided to replace our Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffee maker with this top-of-the-line version from Breville. I only wish I had decided to do this 2 years ago. The Breville Grind Control looks so sleek and shiny on our countertop. It is beautiful! It is easy to use, and much easier to clean than our previous Cuisinart. The Breville Grind Control has a lot of extras in it's design and attention to detail: 1) You can make a single cup of coffee, or a pot of coffee. It is kind of like having a Keurig and a regular coffee maker in one. 2) It calculates the amount of beans to use based on the amount of water in the tank (this can be changed to make a stronger cup of coffee if you so desire). 3) There is a fill gauge on the top, a red pop-up indicator in the tank, as well as an audible alert which all serve to tell you when the tank is full. Sounds like a small thing, but we sometimes overfilled the reservoir in our old coffee maker and would end up with water overflowing onto the counter. 4) The machine knows if you have not emptied or replaced the basket. There is also an escape drip valve in the basket which is supposed to help if there is a backup of water. Lastly there is a spill over tray under the pot. With our old coffee maker we sometimes would forget to put the filter in the basket, so we would wake up to coffee all over the counter and floor. The escape valve and spill over tray of the Brevillle sounds like it would help alleviate a mess caused by user error, but we hopefully never need to test this feature :-). 5) The coffee chute in the Breville which dispenses coffee from the grinder into its basket is much better thought out design than the Cuisinart Grind and Brew. There is less moisture build-up which should mean less of an issue with coffee grinds getting gunked-up inside. We've only had our Breville for a few weeks so I am sure time will tell. Overall this is an excellent coffee maker. We are very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend the Breville Grind Control coffee maker.

A premium drip machine with a built‑in burr grinder, offering fresh ground beans, customizable brew strength, and café‑quality flavor. Sleek stainless steel design, digital controls, and flexible single‑cup or 12‑cup brewing make it versatile. Slightly bulky and higher priced, but ideal for coffee lovers who want convenience and rich taste at home.

This is my second Breville grind control unit. The first on lasted about 13 years! This new one is MUCH quieter while bringing the coffee beans. The only issue I have found is the feed of the beans is somewhat restricted with the new grind control knob that is located in the hopper. The unit does produce consistent Java however.

Great coffee maker. We did, however, exchange it for a different type of coffee maker. The carafe on the Grind Control is heavy & it has to be turned almost upside down to use. Difficult for older hands. 4 stars only because the carafe is heavy & not easy to use for us.

Great looking and best integrated grinder/coffee maker we have ever owned. Makes consistently great coffee. Controls are easy to understand. Also quiet compared to other integrated coffee makers. Also like capability to make coffee directly into a Yeti or other single serve thermo container. Have many Breville appliances and have never been disappointed. This one performs as expected.

So far it’s brewing great coffee. I really like the way you can dial in a good cup of joe. It’s not hard at all to figure out. I like that it can grind and brew up to 12 cups all the way to an 8oz cup.grind is not as loud as others I’ve owned.

I have owned several grind and brews over the years. This is the most well-engineered machine in this class. Worth the money. Makes phenomenal coffee and any strength or size. The thermal carafe keeps coffee hot for hours without burning. Would recommend to anyone and everyone

    Great Coffee Machine

This coffee machine is worth every cent! I have used pre-ground and whole beans in this machine. Every pot or cup of coffee I brew tastes fantastic and not watered down or burnt. The coffee machine is very simple to use. You can brew either a whole pot of coffee (up to 12 cups) or a single cup of coffee. The coffee pot is insulated so it keeps the coffee very warm throughout the day. I have brewed many pots of coffee in the morning and by the end of the day the coffee is still warm (not piping hot, but warm). There is not a heating plate to warm the insulated pot. I really like the feature where you can brew just one cup of coffee. That is what really sold me on buying this machine. The machine is easy to clean. It is not dishwasher safe, so everything has to be hand washed. I usually just brew my coffee, then remove the housing that holds the gold filter and I wipe down the machine. The machine does come with a mini brush for cleaning the machine. The only type of water that you can use in this machine is either tap water or filtered water. You cannot used distilled water. It does take some time to brew a cup or pot of coffee since it infuses the coffee before brewing. But, it is well worth the wait. I highly recommend this machine. It is expensive, but like I had mentioned before it is well worth the price. It makes a better cup of coffee compared to the Keurig machine.

Makes really good coffee but tuff to clean and can be cantankerous. you have to remove the coffee basket and holder every time and wash. the issue is where the grinds come from the top down builds up where is hits the moister from the brew. So it will either start grinding and kick the filter compartment open and throw coffee all over the coffee bar or it will block the passage completely and brew water. I tried disposable filters in lieu of the reusable same issue.

I did some research before to buy this coffee maker. The only problem I found was a week later I got it, the coffee maker suddenly comes back from standby mode and kept that way (in active mode), the instructions says it will go back to standby after 5 minutes of inactivity, but it didn’t for couple days. Another issue was one day the water measures alert seemed stuck in 9 cups... I reset it, disconnected and it kept that way, once I ignored it for 2 days it became working correctly again. So far good coffee, easy to clean, nice look. I like the idea that I can use pre ground and ground coffee. Also I was looking for a coffee maker with optional cup sizes and carafe. I bought it just a month ago.

I was looking for a all in one grind and coffee maker to replace my multiple thousand dollar Miele machine that keeps breaking down. This machine has managed to do that with only a few extra steps. The brew quality is excellent and the grinds are consistent. My only complaint is that the coffee bean housing doesn't fit a full 12oz bag of beans so you have to check the beans often. If the machine runs out of beans it will brew with the amount it has. Clean up is simple you just empty the coffee ground housing like a regular coffee maker but you have to rinse the lid off because the grinds stick to it when they are blown into there during the grinding process. Overall I would say this machine is definitely worth the money and it has replaced my expensive machine with no loss in quality.
